    Looks amazing but next time, cook the sliced zucchini for 20 mins by itself in the oven first, turning once half way thru. This will cause the zucchini to dry out a so the final result is not watery it all. Always enjoy your recipe. 80 pounds down watching your videos ❤️❤️

    I've tried various veggies in place of the noodles, but it is always too wet, even when pre-roasting them to drive out the moisture. Then I started using sliced deli meats for the noodles. My local butcher makes no filler, no sugar fresh deli meat. It is now the best lasagna I've ever made, and the family goes crazy for it when I make it.

    I made this for dinner and my 2 teenagers loved it, I didn't tell them it was low carb and that it didn't have pasta in it but they ate it straight up lol. I'm still new to doing low carb, my wife started it 6 months ago and its taken me this long to come on board. Thank you for your creative recipes!

    Love zucchini lasagna and eggplant is also a great alternative too. Much less watery and has a bit more of a chew than you get with zucchini

    Made this tonight. My own version with a "bechamel" sauce tweaked to for keto, made with cream cheese. This was superb! One of the best keto-fied recipes I have made so far. Thanks for the inspo!

      @@banshee4892 its just cream cheese (about 5 ounces) that i melted in the microwave, then i added freshly grated parmesan (about 10 grams), stir to melt the the parm, add 2 tbsp water to get the consistency you like, pepper to taste. Surprisingly good!

    Your lasagna looks awesome but since i didnt have every single ingredient you had, i took the liberty to change some things like eggplant instead of zucchini and the type of grated cheese, i think it was emmental instead of mozzarella and it came out amazing! Sooooo good , thank you for the inspiration !

    Love your recipes and have enjoyed making several but could you please add the actual recipe instructions/steps to the description? You used to I believe but the last 3 recipes I've made only has the ingredients. I end up having to watch and pause the video multiple times to get the details.

For this recipe in particular she has the ingredients and baking time but not the steps in the description. Her website is pretty comprehensive most of the time though.

    That looks delicious. I love that you jazzed up the sauce with extra spices and fresh basil. I prefer sweet sausage, too!
    I’ve grilled or roasted zucchini and/or eggplant slices prior to constructing the lasagna. It helps keep it dry. I also cook a bit longer, so the eggs fully set in the ricotta. It definitely took a few tries to figure out how to best sweat water out of the zucchini. If you try grilling or roasting the slices, you’ll want to slice them thicker. They soften and grow thinner with the pre-cooking.

    I have made Keto lasagna with a fathead dough for the "pasta", baked, set up, and sliced in three. This was made in a loaf pan, soooo good. I also love zucchini, will have to try this soon.

    Tip for you…when you’re pouring ur jar sauce in the pan…to avoid spattering…pour the sauce over a spoon…to give your sauce more flavor? After frying your sausage…put your sausage into a food processor on purée….use the sausage grease in your sauce also….(trust me, I’m Italian lol) …one more thing…season your ricotta cheese with your sauce…add a ladle or two of sauce to the ricotta…♥️

    Yum! I found that leaving out the ricotta (or cottage cheese) makes a firmer lasagne. Just use plenty of grated cheese and the slices will be more set when you cut it. I also add sauteed sliced green peppers for extra taste to the sauce.

    Awesome recipe. I’m the only low carb/ketogenic person in the family (Lord knows I’ve tried to convert them) and they all loved it. My variation was to use ground beef and ground sausage. 😋

    The Agoge diet is a much better option than the keto diet. It's well structured, balanced and peronalized. Keto is just unhealthy and very tough to follow.

      Diets in general do not work. The mindset that goes along with it is unhealthy and not sustainable. Eating healthy and making proper food choices is the most beneficial way to eat for the body. I have watched many of these videos and the one thing I would point out is the amount of cheese in the dishes is excessive and unhealthy. Cheese is milk product and milk is for babies not adults so use spareingly and milk is not a protein it is a sugar.

      Keto isn't unhealthy. People's choices of what they choose can be considered unhealthy. Because of misconceptions, my BFF thinks we only eat bacon and cheese 😂 I barely eat bacon 😶

    When I make it, I do larger quantities and put it couple in the deep freezer. I mix ricotta with cottage cheese that I put through the food processor but also add a teaspoon each of dried basil and oregano to increase the flavor of that layer.

    Hello Mira So I am new to keto and I’ve been on it for 6 weeks and lost 20 pounds. Until I found you on you tube I was kinda lost about what to eat without getting bored of the same foods. We tried you cheese crust pizza and your chicken crust pizza with the creamy parmigiana dip. We love it quick fun and easy and I have to tell you the chicken crust is delicious but it taste even better a day or to for left overs. So we definitely will be trying the lasagna.     If you want to try a different recipe, try using thin chicken slices as the noodles. It’s delicious.

    Oh my! Watched this yesterday and made it today. Can you say
    yum-o-licious! !!! It is even better with zucchini instead of noodles.
    My husband doesn’t eat zucchini ( he’s picky) so I made enough to divide it up and made one with noodles and one with zucchini .
    I changed mine a little from yours but not much. I used Raos marinara sauce . Also I added green and red bell peppers. I have enough that I will be eating it awhile but that’s fine with me. Ha Ha May freeze some.

    I use a mandolin to slice the zucchini a bit thicker and also bake in the over first, to dry it out. This recipe is pretty close to how I started doing it. Thanks for all of your videos !!

    Looks vary good. I personally have tried to make a similar recipe. Instead of Zucchini I used Sliced deli chicken. To layer.

    I've never tried the zucchini, when I make mine i buy premade lasagna noodles made from hearts of palms. Its actually pretty good, except the noodles have a slight crunch.... possibly I make em wrong though 🤣

    Mayra, you are a national treasure. Have you ever tried the Ragu Simply pasta sauce? It adds no sugar or artificial sweeteners at all. It is delicious!

    Al final, tuve tiempo (semana santa,) de "intentar" crear tu version de zucchini lasagna. 😎
    Gracias, nena, por tu actitud positiva.
    Mis "tweaks" a la receta tuya:
    Substitutions: I felt riccotta was too much, too rich. I used Arrnenian lebne, instead. Me ubico en LA, CA, donde festejamos culturas por todas partes del mundo. Hay mercaditos armenios, koreanos, de etiopia. Lebne has good nutrients, low carbs, is a cross between sour cream and Greek yogurt.
    I whisked lebne with freshly grated reggio, ajo, 1 egg. Italian hot sausage instead of ground beef. Soy bien picosa. 🌶 Hujole, !que delicioso!
    Because, jaja, I represent a smaller familia, I used 4 baby loaf pans to bake. I froze 2 easily.
    Method to dry zucchini: yes, let rest, pat off moisture with paper towels. Then, bake for 6 minutos on one side, turn, bake for another 6 mins.
    ?Ya viste, girl? I promised to make this & I have. To rave reviews. Gone in 60 seconds.

    Zucchini lasagna looks great.
    Zucchini expensive in New Zealand.
    I don't think we have that kinda sausage.
    Ricotta isn't usually my thing but nice change from cheese sauce
