You’d think these guys would be hella players since we fall In love every time we hear a love song from them, but I know Barry at least has been married to his second wife for decades. They live what they sing!
I’m not gonna lie. I am a huge fan of this group you could even say I’m a little obsessed when I look for reactions I type in Beegees reactions because I love to see how people are totally blown away by their voices. I can honestly tell you there’s not a song that they sing that I don’t thoroughly enjoy please do Fanny be tender with your love about three minutes in the harmonies will just knock your socks off I think I’ve listen to that song 1 million times.❤
Your reactions to the Bee Gees are so wonderful and I really appreciate that you research the artists before listening. That's what makes your reactions so good, is because you know the facts beforehand and you can then ask better questions from an informed point of view. Thanks for covering this amazing trio because they are in our hearts forever.
They did the absolute BEST harmonies ever in music history. After decades and decades of non-stop hits they're still underrated by so many snobs who only think about rock, hip-hop, etc... The BEE GEES were everything!
SalvoG, you need to hop down the BeeGees rabbit hole. You will like most everything they perform. Our next reaction should be The Only Love, Wedding Day, will You Still Love Me Tomorrow or Fanny Be Tender with My Heart. Some of the most beautiful and romantic songs ever.
As someone commented below, "they are God's gift to the world". For 50+ years, their songwriting in many genres, performances and exquisite harmonies were, and still are, music lovers' idea of heaven. Great reaction...
There a lot of good songs and melodies. You can't go wrong with the Bee Gees. Others songs are: Love you inside and out, More than a woman, tragedy and so many more.
Now that you've done two ballads in "Too Much Heaven" and "How Deep Is Your Love" and the disco classic "Stayin' Alive", your next must be its upbeat companion piece "Night Fever".
Two of the most beautiful songs ever recorded were the BeeGees with Words and Massachusetts. You will find them hauntingly melancholy. Rarely covered by reactors which is a huge shame as they are masterpieces in my humble opinion. 👍🇬🇧
Beautiful song. Listen to Tragedy and Fanny Be Tender With My Love. The BeeGees wrote over 1,000 songs. They were so gifted. Another Beautiful song they had out in the 60’s very young. Too Love Somebody. Beautiful. Beautiful song many other artist have recorded it. Barry said out of all the songs they have written he loves this one the most. No body could harmonize like them
Listen to "How Can You Mend A Broken Heart" (Massachusetts; From whom the bell tolls, I started a joke, Nights on Broadway, ...) and you can also appreciate Robin beautiful voice.
Sir Barry Gibb and his brothers were just inducted into the Australian songwriters hall of fame!!!! Australia’s first round of inductees!!!! They have written over 1000 songs not only for themselves and their brother Andy (who also co-wrote with them) but for other well known artists! THEY ARE THE BEST!!!!! They can’t be topped!!! ❤❤❤❤❤
They wrote about six tracks for the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack (some for other artists as well as their own). Everyone had a copy of this album in their collection but the BeeGees were so much more than a 1970s 'disco' band. Their early stuff is worth a listen too!
Oh, yes! The earlier stuff with Robin as the lead singer is just as good as this, but with subtle differences. Robin stepped aside as lead when Barry wanted to take them to a more Pop sound. Some may deride disco, but "It had a good beat & you could dance to it".
A couple of my top faves are " Run To Me"... "I Could Not Love You More" .... "New York Mining Disaster"... " I Gotta Get A Message To You"...."To Love Sombody"... I could go on forever the list is so long ❤
the main course album. Is great, the album for me between two of their style changes…nights on broadway, wind of change, songburd, come on over, edge of universe but my favorite is fanny be tender , velvet rich smooth, its awesome
They were the absolute best. ❤ You will love the journey. So many great songs. Rings Around The Moon, One, Alone, For Whom The Bell Tolls, To Love Somebody, oh too many to list.
I was lucky enough to see Andy Gibb in Concert ( 3rd row center 😉) when I was in the 4 th grade . I was 9. I begged my parents to take my best friend and I. The year was 1977. We stood on our seats and screamed . I am 55 years old and remember it like it was yesterday. 🌠🤍💕
it's so hard to listen to these songs without a smile on your face, it's such a satisfying vibe compared to music today that sounds chaotic, the 1960s-70s is just peaceful
Tragedy is another great one. It's being used in the beginning of the trailer for the new 'Bettlejuice' movie. They have just released behind the scenes video of them as they were writing and recording it. Barry makes the explosion sound by cupping his hands around the mic. It's amazing.
Their influence in today’s music has to be evident. Think Bruno Mars and Justin Timberlake. Timberlake once commented that the first time he heard their harmonies, he thought it was an instrument. That’s how clean the Bees Gees sound together.
Ain't it majestic? I'm not a huge disco fan ... but "You Should Be Dancing" is quite something. The groove and the arrangement are intoxicating. It never fails to move my soul and no matter where I am I need to dance. You might know it already, but I'd recommend listening to the song on its own, then watching the video of John Travolta's dance routine in the film. Insane.
This was the start of the Bee Gees' 2 year rule over the Top Ten that included songs written for Frankie Valli, Andy Gibb, Samantha Sang, Yvonne Elliman, and of course their own 6 consecutive #1's
Probably my favorite Bee Gees song and from one of my favorite 70’s movies…Saturday Night Fever. Such an amazing band. ❤ Salvo G…try More Than A Woman,
I ball like a baby when I hear this song, I remember when it came out 77. You give the best, respectful reactions, love and appreciate it! The Bee Gees did own most of the 70s!
I am 50 years old and I love seeing you appreciate these older songs and artists. There is nothing like discovering them for the first time, but relishing other people’s introduction is pretty great, too!!!
Thanks for playing my boys. I don't think I've ever heard a song I did not like, and I mean like a lot. My mom's favorite group. The music played in my house all the time. Along with ABBA . I was quite lucky, although I didn't know it back then thank you for the research and looking into the facts about the group that's what I liked about your channel. And thanks for not interrupting.
Yes, the amazing harmonies the brothers Gibb create can make you feel like you're floating and awash with Heavenly sounds - and you should check out their brother Andy's songs too.
This isn’t just one of my favorite Bee Gees songs, it’s one of my favorite songs of all time. Absolutely beautiful! Another great one is Words. When my son was about five, he loved Words. The first time he heard it he cried. So shocking to have a five yr old to be touched so much from a song! Another favorite is Fanny Be Tender With My Love. What an epic song. Such a difficult song to sing that it wasn’t one they did live. Must listen to the video. Even with the video it’s hard to tell who is singing what. Amazing song.
Yes. The Bee Gees were so talented. Their rabbit hole is deep - both in individual vocals and collectively . Fanny Be Tender With My Love I d agree would be another one you d really enjoy.
As Barry is the King of Falsetto, Robin is the King of Vibrato. Hauntingly beautiful! I love Robin in "For whom the bell tolls". Theres a great video of them singing it under the Brooklyn Bridge with the Statue of Liberty and the Twin Towers in the background. AS an American , it gets me everytime. Barry and Robin take turns singing in their falsetto and vibrato voices. 🇺🇸😢❤
Bittersweet when you hear Robin open up and bring this masterpiece to the next level out of this world and think about what the lyrics are saying. Then realise the both sets of twins, the *Twin* *Towers* and the *Twins* *Robin* and *Maurice* are no longer here. 😢💔🌈🦋💕
How Deep Is Your Love is such a dreamy, pretty ballad. The soundtrack to Saturday Night Fever is so awesome! I can still see the scene in my head when I hear this song...or part of the scene they show - Tony (a really young John Travolta) riding sadly and aimlessly in the subway all night long...and then again at the end of the film - maybe at some point you can react to the rest of the songs off of that soundtrack.
I was a teenager when they came on the scene. To this day I never get tired of hearing them. I love them so much. Probably my favorite music singers and writers of all time. They are the bomb. Only Barry, the oldest, is left. They are legendary.
I am awed by their talent and happy you are reacting to their work. They are top songwriters and producers, too. Next up should definitely be their other timeless classic hits on the same album, including NIGHT FEVER, More Than A Woman, If I Can’t Have You. YOU SHOULD BE DANCING and JIVE TALKIN!!!
I loved your reaction to this song! Your face showed such joy! I am old enough to remember this song on the radio when I was 9 years old but to this day it gives me the same joy in listening to it that you had. Thank you for reacting to it and sharing it with me again! 😊
This is the soundtrack of my high school years. I can't tell you how many times I danced to this as a teenager. It was ubiquitous. The entire album was played over and over everywhere you went for about a year. Their popularity can't be overstated. Now, if you want to discuss songs that were ignored at Oscar season, none of their songs from the movie were nominated for an Academy Award that year.
They are not singing about women, they sing to women❤
Omg yes!👌
You’d think these guys would be hella players since we fall
In love every time we hear a love song from them, but I know Barry at least has been married to his second wife for decades. They live what they sing!
Nights on Broadway and Tragedy are bangers
Absolutely!
I am also a huge fan since a young man in the 70’s. Through the years they always held my attention as one of my favorite groups.
That’s me too! I’m so happy to see how Salvo reacted to this! It makes me feel like I’m hearing it for the first time!
Complexly agree with you & always love his reactions!🎶
Yes I agree¡
How can you mend a broken heart, To love somebody, Words, Massachusetts,
This song , and 'To Much Heaven ' are responsible for the population increase of the '70s and '80s . I was raised on this music, well done .
Bee Gees are masters of harmonies. And there are no autotunes. They can sing.
Thank you for your reaction.
Greetings from Germany.
Its pretty amazing.been singing together their whole lives.true brothers to follow the others
Dig into early r&r BeeGees. "Lonely Days" is a good place to start.
Another song you could listen to by them is Emotion or More Than a Woman two more masterpieces by the kings that I know you’ll love.
He's already did Samantha Sang's version of Emotion.🎼
Love More Than A Woman
They did the absolute BEST harmonies ever in music history. After decades and decades of non-stop hits they're still underrated by so many snobs who only think about rock, hip-hop, etc... The BEE GEES were everything!
Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young aren't slouches, lol. They also could harmonize like they were brothers.
Listen to the whole Saturday Night Fever soundtrack.
The most beautiful love song ever. ❤. Try “Nights on Broadway”, “Fanny Be Tender”, “More Than a Woman”, “Run to Me”, “Jive Talkin’”
all great choices
two thumbs up!
Spirits Having Flown❤️👍
Thankyou❤
There’s a reason these guys sold 220 million records.
This is my favorite BeeGee's song
So smooth 😊
As someone commented below, "they are God's gift to the world". For 50+ years, their songwriting in many genres, performances and exquisite harmonies were, and still are, music lovers' idea of heaven. Great reaction...
There a lot of good songs and melodies. You can't go wrong with the Bee Gees. Others songs are: Love you inside and out, More than a woman, tragedy and so many more.
"FANNY BE TENDER WITH MY LOVE" and "LOVE YOU INSIDE OUT"!!! GREAT HARMONIES ON THESE TRACKS !!!!
check out their baby brother Andy Gibb singing Shadow Dancing
The Bee Gees are the best. You should do Tragedy. You’d like it
I think you may just be "captivated" by them. They have that effect on people
Now that you've done two ballads in "Too Much Heaven" and "How Deep Is Your Love" and the disco classic "Stayin' Alive", your next must be its upbeat companion piece "Night Fever".
Two of the most beautiful songs ever recorded were the BeeGees with Words and Massachusetts. You will find them hauntingly melancholy. Rarely covered by reactors which is a huge shame as they are masterpieces in my humble opinion. 👍🇬🇧
I absolutely love how you appreciate and immerse yourself in their music. A magnificent harmony.
No body could harmonize like them
The incomparable BeeGees. God’s gift to the world.
Yep, you could go right to the next cut: Night Fever
You need to check out their 60's songs.
You would thoroughly enjoy Fanny Be Tender With My Love and For Whom the Bell Tolls. Both outstanding and from different Bee Gees eras.
My favorite Bee Gee song is Fanny Be Tender With My Love.
I’m enjoying your reactions to the music of my youth!!!

British people can go in that?
@@samueljames17They grew up in Australia.

Have you ever heard their really early song " Spicks and Specks", if not suggest you try it, the twins were just children.
Oh, yes! The earlier stuff with Robin as the lead singer is just as good as this, but with subtle differences. Robin stepped aside as lead when Barry wanted to take them to a more Pop sound. Some may deride disco, but "It had a good beat & you could dance to it".
Spicks & Specks is great & most of their earliest stuff was written by Barry!🎶
My favorite is pre-Saturday Night Fever = Lonely Days! On SNF my favorite is "you should be dancing" YAY!
This is one of those songs that DEFINITELY deserves to be called "a timeless classic"
If you want to go to their pre-disco days two songs are How do you Mend a Broken Heart, and Words.
A couple of my top faves are " Run To Me"... "I Could Not Love You More" .... "New York Mining Disaster"... " I Gotta Get A Message To You"...."To Love Sombody"... I could go on forever the list is so long ❤
Yes,the BeeGees were definitely a one off. Never another group comes close wirh harmonies and songwriting. Magnificent.
NIGHTS ON BROADWAY or LONELY DAYS, LONELY NIGHTS are a MUST for the FLIP SIDE (non-disco era) of the BeeGee's!! Both are Pure FIRE! 😀
Fanny be Tender is a can't miss BeeGees tune I know you'll love
the main course album. Is great, the album for me between two of their style changes…nights on broadway, wind of change, songburd, come on over, edge of universe but my favorite is fanny be tender , velvet rich smooth, its awesome
OMG! Your Reaction to this song was Priceless and the smile on your face is infectious! Love it!!
I love your reactions to the Bee Gees. Watching you fall in love with the Bee Gees is absolutely priceless!

Anyone else get goosebumps as soon as the chorus started? A true masterpiece! Have you checked out their track “Nights on Broadway” yet?
Forgot about that one!! So good!!
@@bluelionvintage8134that's the big one, where Barry discovered his falsetto, that changed everything.
One of my very favorites!
The trio, foursome or more some, nobody can sing as strong as the Brothers Gibb! Great reaction.
Affinity is the word you're looking for (as opposed to connection).
It doesn’t get any better than The Bee Gees!! Harmony always on point. Have you reacted to Too Much Heaven? It’s amazing
TRAGEDY is a good choice for next. Released 2 years after the ones you've heard so far.
Tragedy is another great one. It's being used in the beginning of the trailer for the new 'Bettlejuice' movie. They have just released behind the scenes video of them as they were writing and recording it. Barry makes the explosion sound by cupping his hands around the mic. It's amazing.

Many nights dancing to this on a dimly lit dance floor with the mirrored ball slowly throwing off little flashes of light all around. Great times.
Ain't it majestic?

what can one say- It is the Bee Gees- 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Family members know how to really harmonize. They've been doing it all their lives together
Jive talking, Fanny be tender, More Than A Woman....all bangers...plus so much more...Their music just makes you feel good.
I am 50 years old and I love seeing you appreciate these older songs and artists. There is nothing like discovering them for the first time, but relishing other people’s introduction is pretty great, too!!!
Now this is music, melody - arrangements, voices, passion... Compared to what is on the radio these days - this is a halleluja moment!! 😍

Greatest band of all time.
Barry and Robin's voices mesh so perfectly. It sounds like one voice.

Harmony heaven!! 😍 Take a deep dive into their 5+ decade catalog, you won't be sorry!! ❤
They are the best! There is no other group ever that has the vocal range, sound harmony etc. They are the Bombdigity!
Watching you experience The Bee Gees NEVER GETS OLD… your look just says everything ❤
This song is so lovely , sweet and charming. Barry sung it in his charming chest voice smoothly.I listen everyday 😊❤
I was a teenager when they came on the scene. To this day I never get tired of hearing them. I love them so much. Probably my favorite music singers and writers of all time. They are the bomb. Only Barry, the oldest, is left. They are legendary.
Even their 'la la la la's" are exquisite. Our high school band played this in 1978 during halftime on the field. The whole place would sing. Enjoyed!
Words, Massachusetts, and I Started a Joke (Robin on lead) are all gorgeous and moving songs. More Than a Woman as well.
Did you know that Robin & Maurice were twins?! You should really do their song “Jive Talkin” You would love it, I promise you!!!
they wrote master pieces over 5 decades - so much to choose from. Try Blue Island - beautiful harmony!
Yes, Blue Island from MTV performance!
Just you wait! You have hundreds and hundreds of fabulous Bee Gees songs to listen to and greatly enjoy.
You are my favourite at reacting to songs that, as a 63 year old, are part of my soul.
All of their music is heaven sent. "Alone" was a hit for them later- after disco died- but this song "Alone" will make you tear up it's so beautiful.
I also suggested "Alone"! It shows how BeeGees adjust to the time period and can still make good songs after the Disco era.
This song is beautiful. Harmonies can’t be beat. Smooth as butter. Beautiful lyrics too. ❤
Amazing reaction. Enjoy your travels down the Bee Gees rabbit hole.
The harmony is just off the charts. This track is an absolute treasure. Wow!
I loved your reaction to this song! Your face showed such joy! I am old enough to remember this song on the radio when I was 9 years old but to this day it gives me the same joy in listening to it that you had. Thank you for reacting to it and sharing it with me again! 😊
Sublime vocals - nothing else to say.
Bee Gees are Legendary their catalogue is Epic go back to their beginning with "To love Somebody" in 67 live its short but sweet
It was perfect.❤
They were prolific songwriters for themselves and others❤
Best boyband ever, period
This is the soundtrack of my high school years. I can't tell you how many times I danced to this as a teenager. It was ubiquitous. The entire album was played over and over everywhere you went for about a year. Their popularity can't be overstated. Now, if you want to discuss songs that were ignored at Oscar season, none of their songs from the movie were nominated for an Academy Award that year.
The BeeGees were feminine and masculine at the same time .. they especially touched women's hearts. They are/were truly amazing.
