All In Your Name.
Fanny Be Tender.
Nights On Broadway. Tragedy.
Jive Talkin.
I have 149 favorite Bee Gees songs. I can't pick one o
Great picks, Kathie!🎶
Early Bee Gees Recommendation: New York Mining Disaster 1941 If that title doesn't intrigue you, then I can't help you. (j/k) Enjoyed the reaction.
@@shwicaz That's on The Midnight Specials new YT channel.....but think their performances of I've Gotta Get a Message to You & To Love Somebody are even better.🎶
The brothers Gibb are a once in a lifetime perfection.
I feel so privileged to have grown up with their music in the 1970's, along with that of ELO and Carpenters, among so many other talented artists. Great songs, lovingly produced and performed superbly are what links them and makes their music timeless.
When people could SING and harmonize without a tunalator. Love was such a beautiful thing. 😊❤️
The BeeGees did their own arrangements, writing their songs, producing. True geniuses
They did it all! Disco kings!
Once you hear this song you’ll never be the same.
This is what happens when the younger generations get a taste of what true talent is. I was born in '79 and grew up in Brooklyn in the 80's where Bee Gees were played on the radio all the time until at least the 90's. We take for granted how great music was compared to today. They are pure magic.
They are like an instrument.. Their harmony is beyond words... Love the reaction..
❤
There is nothing like family singing together… the similar voices. You can’t make that, it’s a freak of nature.
All three Bee Gees equally talented, they were the greatest, they don't make music like this anymore!
Never will there be anyone like the BeeGees again! Absolute perfection. All 3 of them ❤
They were amazing. The late 70s and 80s ROCKED. Times were so much simpler then. We had a blast ❤
I have been a Bee Gees fan since I was probably 17. Im 61 now. They were truly the best ever. Always in my heart. RIP Robin and Mo. You are both so missed.
Only one Bee Gee left and that is heartbreaking!❤️❤️
Watched an interview w/ Barry & he was/is absolutely heartbroken he being the oldest & was the only brother left. That made me cry.😢I was around for not only them but younger brother Andy , too. What a talented family what joy they all bought❤
@@darlenecherbak4042Have you checked out the grand kids yet? :)
Andy
Most beautiful song your ears will EVER HEAR 😂
I Personally think How Deep is Your Love” but cant go wrong with either! Lol!
Disagree I started a joke!
@@allycatspreparedlife5313 Yes! The emotion in his voice feels real.
Barry's ad-libs in this recording make me think of someone so overcome by emotion that they cannot hold it in.
Just voices, no autotune or computers. Just raw talent.
The Bee Gees and especially Barry (so fine) had the heart of every little Afro and hip-hugger jean-wearing Black girl in my neighborhood! This video still kills me, that hair, that beard, those slightly flared nostrils, that falsetto, and those slim hips in tight jeans oh my God! Finest man on the planet!!!
I have to agree with you Michellemuldrew827. At one time Barry was called the sexiest and most gorgeous man on the planet❤❤❤
Yes girl!!!
Love your reaction! Now you see why we’ve loved them for so many years. They’re simply the best.
As beautiful as this song is, How Deep Is Your Love, I think, is one of the most beautiful songs ever recorded. It's absolutely amazing. As wonderful as Barry's voice is, Robin and Maurice are just as talented. While the Beatles and the Stones were cranking out top 40 hits, the Bee Gees were too. All three bands were staples of radio in the 60's. But there is nothing like sibling harmony. Pure heaven.
I agree!
There's a solid argument for that!
Yes
Speaking of The Beatles, check out the Gibb brothers on The Midnight Specials new YT channel performing a Beatles medley!🎶
I completely agree!!!
The BeeGees wrote so many amazing lyrics, and with their own arrangements, took the music charts over for quite a while! I love it when you younger reactors discover the icons of my youth. Their unique style and sound will always be on my playlist. Love your comments!
The BeeGees have an instrument no other band has... their voices.
Also amazing that the profits of this song all went to UNICEF. The brothers were not only genius musicians, they also have a big heart, growing up so poor that's why they were forced to work by singing even as young as 9 years old.
“More Than a Woman” is magic. The sway you get into without realizing shows just how good they are. Barry wrote and composed it.
Yep, Salvo, it's pretty darn hard to not fall under the spell of BeeGee harmonies and melodies. They've got a long and amazing catalog of songs.
I love how they are so in sync when they sing this one, each word is perfect an exact with all of them and of course, Barry's falsetto is perfect and they were all zoned in on this one. You could tell by Barry's eyes on that close up. PERFECTION.
You do realise that this is not live? They are lip sucking to a recording. It wasn’t possible for them to do this version live because it’s 27 overlaid vocal tracks - 18 of Barry solo and 9 of all three brothers together. Barry at his songwriting and singing peak.
@@maelilmc4079 Yes because of the orchestra but frankly I don't care, I have no idea about this version of the song, where it was or anything else about it. Irregardless, they were very into what they were doing whether live or not.
@@MollieC-uc1fk Absolutely they were!!!!👍😊
Now you've joined the rest of us in our adoration of the Brothers Gibb! Absolutely INCREDIBLE singer/songwriter/musicians! Thanks for your reaction.
It makes me really happy to see that you like this song. Do you realize I was 15 when it came out ? This song has aged well and brings back wonderful memories. Barry was so handsome and he still is. Thank you Salvo. ❤️
Aren’t they just amazing?! ♥️ As many times as I’ve heard this song over all the years it stops me dead in my tracks every time!! Pure fire 🔥 😊
Barry didn't even talk until he was 3. Must have been saving his voice for all the music he was gonna make.
This is the rehearsal. (Notice how the orchestra members are dressed). They knew it couldn't be done better than this so here we are. I can't express how much I enjoy listening to the brothers known as The Bee Gees. Thank you, Universe.
The girls back then in the 70´s they had to freak out so much. I can imagine 😀
No auto tunes, real live singing. That’s the success.
Bee Gees are the masters of harmonies. THIS was music! They can sing! Just voices no autotunes!
I have watched a bunch of reactors react to this iconic song and I have not yet seen even one of them who wasn't blown away by this song, just like you, it's so stinking good. Bee Gees have released a bunch of great songs, and many are classics in their own right, but this one is special. It's like a tiny bit of heaven (if you believe in that stuff) was brought down to Earth for us to enjoy in the form of one of the most beautiful songs ever. Wow! ❤✌
I've watched several different people react to this song, and I never get tired of it.
They're legends!
"Tragedy", "Jive Talkin'", "Nights on Broadway"
The most beautiful song of all times.
Take it from an old woman, it's such a pleasure to watch your reactions to our music from my days. Admittedly the best music ever!
Phenomenal brothers. ❤❤❤
This was before auto tune was even invented. It’s all them! They simply ooze pure talent.
I used to ride around in my 1965 Mustang with my 8-track player playing Bee Gee's music for hours on end! Ah, the good old days!
Their concerts were absolutely mesmerizing too! I just found my old concert program that's been tucked away since 1979. It's in perfect condition!
One of my favorite songs ever, period.
I remember when these songs first released, and drooling over the album covers with my friends. Their sound was so new and unique, we had never heard anything like them before! And they really stand the test of time. I can close my eyes, drift back to high school and sing along with every word.
The Brothers Gibb
(BeeGee's-Barry, Maurice and Robin)
also had a (4th) younger brother named Andy you should check out. He also had a very successful, but brief, singing career. He died tragically, very young.
All three of them wrote too much heaven in an afternoon along with tragedy song❣️
Glad l found you. You do an amazing job of describing each song but PLEASE do more of the BeeGees. They are the best trio EVER. I am sure you will LOVE them too as you listen to more of their songs ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Barry’s like a lion with Ferrah Faucet locks.
❤they wrote over 1000 songs and many were for other famous artists, who had number one hits with their songs,, For Whom the Bell Tolls,, I didn’t know that one until recently, etc, all of them wrote songs and sang not just one of them, just look up a list of their songs and you will be surprised and amazed at what they wrote,,❤words can’t describe how talented they were,in real life ❤,
Dig. So many beautiful songs over the decades. So many to love that I can't pick a favorite. I love them all. Dig.
Look at the way that they standing so cool, relax, n smooth effortless singing…..
I was thinking the same thing. So natural.
This is an awesome great song .I love them so so much ❤❤❤
You are right! Their voices are heavenly! Love your reaction!
These are the MASTERS at work, like no other!! They were the MASTERS in harmonies! Be careful what you say about Barry being the lead, those other 2 and the younger brother Andy Gibb, were as talented as Barry. As you go through this journey you will get or understand what I mean.
The Bee Gees are a great vocal group. With fantastic harmonies are at the top when it comes to songwriting. I’ve got a couple that you would really enjoy. Love, so right
The way it was and Fanny be tender with my love. You will truly enjoy these three without a doubt.
Fantastic group, incredible careers a treasure legacy of musicto the world
I have always LOVED the Bee Gees, I was born in 1978 and they gave always and will always be part of my top 10, maybe even 5! Listen to their version of I Will!
Thank you for sharing your reaction to The BeeGees. I have been one of their biggest fans since childhood. Let's keep their music alive!
I had the absolute pleasure of getting to see these amazing band of brothers LIVE in 1998. They didn't disappoint. What an amazing show! It's sad that nobody will ever get to see them live again but I'm super proud I can say I did. R.I.P Maurice & Robin 🙏🙏❤❤❤
Going back to that time, reliving this, It feel so great to have been born in that era, those were the best times in music!!
Love this group! The tragic lives of the brothers brings on feelings of sadness. Now there is only one left.
Pure talent. That's real music.
Usually with me a song has to wear on me… but this song 🎶 I loved the first time I heard it and I never get tired of it…. I love ❤️ to see the reaction of people when they hear it the first time…
Keep on Dancing, Jive Talking, Fanny be Tender (with my love), Nights on Broadway, Alone.... so many more to experience.
The Bee Gees were awesome back when I was in my teens and 20s. The older I get, the better they sound.
So good to see other generations enjoy The Bee Gees.
When you have brothers that sing together their DNA makes the blend of their voices so pure. I was a teenager when the Bee Gees were making hit after hit. I think this song has to be my all time favorite. RIP Maurice and Robin.
Too Much Heaven & How Deep is Your Love are two of my all time favorites!!
Last I heard, Sir Barry Gibb was the most successful British singer/songwriter/music producer of all time - He is a musical treasure - C
This song came out when I was just 19 years old. I got the 45, and still have it. One of my favorites of theirs. Love Fanny, Be Tender With My Love. Please listen to this one. You won’t be disappointed. Live on stage is the best.
I agree with you 100%!! Perfect song, perfect performance!
They did their own arrangements and arrangements for other artists. Their own harmonies were done without auto-tune. Talk shows hosts loved to put them on the spot on the couches to sing with just Barry playing guitar. Love their sound.
Bee Gees wrote this song in the morning and Tragedy in the afternoon, just like that! All 3 brothers wrote and composed this song, they never realised it was going to be as big as hit as it was Due to the album sales UNICEF have received $M from this one song}. I have been listening to them since 1975 approx, went to disco's danced away with them and of course have watched Saturday Night Fever countless times. I was scheduled to see them in concert in 2003 in Brisbane Australia and heard the news on the radio Maurice had died. There will never be another Bee Gees ever RIP Maurice and Robin we all miss you always and Andy too. Carry on the good work Barry love ya!
Growing up with them on the radio day in and day out and I never grew tired of hearing them. They are one of the best. Love your reaction.
You absolutely must listen to Fanny Be Tender With My Love - Quincy Jones said it was the best R & B song he had ever heard. They show out in that one. Also, you must listen to For Whom the Bell Tolls, the video with the New York skyline in the background. Robin is at his absolute best on this one. You are going to fall in love with every Bee Gees song you hear.
Yes, FBTWML was also their mother's favorite by them. That says a lot. Mo said they never did that live because it was too complex. Well, he said 'it was a b*tch to sing' lol! Yes, Sal needs to hear early Bee Gees and some post-disco too. So much to experience beyond Barry singing falsetto and Mo and Robin backing.
Good job Sweetie, there is no better music than the 70’s has to offer!
love how you just get reduced to a puddle by these songs. love watching your reactions.
It’s so refreshing and exciting to see someone discover these beautiful gems for the first time!!Always great reactions!!!
LMFAO!!!!!!! hahahahaha....lol.....hahahaha....Barry!!! BARRY!!!! BARRY!!!!!!! ...That's how and millions of others felt when we heard this song on the Radio...Barry...Barry....BARRY!!!! And men and women FELL in Love with Barry Gib.... and those Jesus Christ looks and him singing that Falsetto like that....hahahaha....we were saying, "barry..... Barry....BARRY.....AAAAAWWWWWW BARRY!!!!! Hahahaha....lol.....hahahaha.....Yeah The Bee Gees had us under their spell and we were totally there for them. One of my all-time favorite groups!!!!
Tip of the iceberg, SalvoG. Too often reactors focus on the mid- to late '70s, which admittedly produced lots of cool music.... yet often overlooked were the countless brilliant Bee Gees songs of the late '60 and early '70s. And don't be shy about checking out some of their beautiful songs of the '90s, often with lead vocal by Robin. Thanks, young man!
I loved their early songs as well.
We were so lucky to grow up in the 70's! Music was pivotal.
I still get chills listening to this song.
You’ve been Bee Geed ❤
Real voices, real singing, real talent.
My favourite BeeGees song is: 'How Can you Mend a Broken Heart?" (1971).
I'm am so lucky to have been a kid hearing all this stuff come out on the radio. Loved them then and love them still. True excellence.
I almost cried, watching you watching them. Yep that was our music. A lot of babies born to that song.
The Bee Gees take you on a journey.
There are almost no words for this song: ❤❤❤❤🎶🎶🎶🎶
Isn't that the most beautiful sound any humans ever made?
It's so great to see amazing music bridging the generations ❤
There are hundreds before this and dozens beyond.
Been waiting for you to get to this one.
There are 3 songs I absolutely love watching people react to for the first time. Rock Lobster, Hocus Pocus, and this song.
I knew you were going to love it for Barry's vocal display alone never mind the angelic backing vocals of his bros.
Salvo man I gotta say I love how much you love and appreciate good music with the distorted faces, the laughter, and the sheer awe.
Keep up the good work bro, you're awesome.
✌Peace✌
Appreciate that, I’m really enjoying myself, I hope that shines through.
Rock lobster??? That’s literally the song I hate probably the MOST.
I love this song. I can listen to it every day.
Best. Band. Ever. ❤❤❤
You see why the numbers, there to good. Its hypnotic for the chicks. If you could sing like it . Well legendary.
This unique harmonies are theirs alone. They have been perfecting it since childhood. Never to be duplicated.
This song and Tragedy are my two favorite Bee Gee songs. My mom is a Boomer and she introduced this group to me at about 8-9. I'm going to be 42 in less then 2 weeks. I love watching reviews like this, b/c another person or generation can actually hear 'REAL TALENT'.
You Should Be Dancing is a great song.
Also, the song Barry sings with Barbra Streisand called What Kind of Fool.
Also, Barbra does a song written for her by Barry called Woman In Love and he does backup vocals.
He also sang Guilty with Streisand. It was a big hit.
@@TallyDrake yes! Their voices worked so beautifully together.
I added those songs in the links above! Magical!!
@@vickiochoa2508 Magical is the perfect description
"Guilty" written by Barry, Robin and Maurice Gibb and "Woman in Love" co-written by Robin and Barry.
Legendary Brothers Gibb! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Those Falsetto harmonies 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
