It was shortly after she had lost Rene. When she descends the staircase to sing directly to Barry, it brings me to tears every single time. Every performance of this song is just so special. ❤
It’s wonderful that Celine Dion is getting her flowers again these days. Actually, it was Barry & Mo who wrote this beautiful song! Barry began playing the intro as Mo followed, playing the first cord. Barry would change cords & Mo would immediately follow, like he knew right where Barry was going, for 3.5 minutes.🎼

Such a hauntingly beautiful song. Written by the Brothers Gibb (Bee Gees) I think the emotion that they put into this was a farewell to their youngest brother Andy Gibb who died at a young age so the words to this are very poignant. They wrote so many number 1 hits for other artists. This one being a big hit for Celine Dion. Thanks for the reaction. love from Australia
You've got to react to Dionne Warwick's "Heartbreaker", written, produced and background vocals by Bee Gees. It is stellar! There really isn't a decent video for it so I'd recommend the album version.
What's great about the BeeGees is that they also write according to the singer's vocal strength. Like they wrote this specifically for Celine Dion so the melodies and bridge fit her voice to a T. I agree with the other comments here that the Live version is more emotional to watch.
Please react to their live performance of it together in Vegas. You should also watch her performance of it at the Grammy’s salute to the Bee Gees but my guess is they will block you from reacting to it.

The more I here this the more I fall in love with it. There's a great short video of the making of this record which includes the song in its entirety but it so worth watching. Seeing Barry choke up and the ever humble Bee Gees be so proud of her singing the song they wrote for her. It's a beautiful thing. Warning. Once you fall for the Brothers Gibb There's no going back. I loved the studio recording of this she did with the BeeGee's. It was the first time they had heard her sing it and everyone was in tears. Worth watching.
Celine always sounded to me like the female BeeGee, especially when she was singing with them. You can always tell the sound of a Bee Gee written song. I adore the Bee Gees too. I cried when I heard Maurice aka Mo died. Have you reacted to Andy? "Love is Thicker Than Water' was a hit Andy had, or: "(Our Love) Don't Throw It All Away". React to the BGs: "Spirits Having Flown", from the album of the same name. Try to get the video of their performing it at Barry's Miami mansion on the water.. There is a reason I have claimed since middle school that Celine Dion is my favorite female vocalist. I bought that album in 1997 when it came out, the first CD I ever bought for myself. And I have been blessed enough to see her live once, right before the pandemic. She truly is a magical performer.
You should checkout the behind the scenes of the studio recording for this song! Barry was in tears hearing her sing! They wrote this song specifically for her, hoping that she'd sing it!
Another great one is Celine Dion and Barbra Streisand’s duet Tell Him! Celine talks about Barbra being her idol and how amazing it is for her to be able to sing a duet with her! The video shows them rehearsing and is cute and funny!

Our Love, Don't Throw it all away-Bee Gee's or Andy's version (pop)
Secret Love (pop)
This is Where I Came in (live) (pop)
The 1989 One for all tour medley (excellent vocals & some humor)
If you want to see them (the Bee Gees) and how they work in the studio try:
(A) the making of their song "Tragedy" from 1979
(B) The making of the song "Just in Case"
(C) The making of the video "This is Where I Came in" from their last cd in 2001
Some that only the avid Bee Gee fans might know that you might want to react to:
My Lover’s Prayer (pop ballard)
Letting Go (pop ballard)
Subway (R&B)
You Stepped Into My
life (Funk/r&b)
Children of the World (pop)
Search, Find (pop or R&B)
Songs written by Barry Gibb (that other artists sung), alone or with his brothers (Robin &!Maurice Gibb):
If I Can't Have You (Yvonne Elliman)
Woman in Love ( Barbra Streisand). In fact, Gibb wrote every song on her Guilty CD, and did 2 duets with her. And he did most of the background vocals on a lot of the songs.
Islands in the Stream (Kenny Rogers & Dolly Partons). In fact, Barry wrote all the songs on Kenny's "Eyes that See in the Dark" CD
Heartbreaker (Deion Warwick). In fact, Barry wrote every song on this CD too. The Bee Gees also did the Background vocals.
Chain Reaction (Diana Ross) and yes, Barry wrote all the songs on this CD too. Barry also did the background vocals.
Immortality (Celine Dion) The Bee Gees also sung background. The live 1997 from Vegas is excellent!
More Than a Woman (Tavares)
Love Me (Yvonne Elliman)
Come on Over (Olivia Newton John)
Emotions (Samantha Sang, with a lot of background vocals with Barry). Destiny's Child also recorded it.
Grease--from the movie (Frankie Valli)
Heart Beating in Time (Leo Sayer)
Let me wake up in your arms (Lulu), who use to be married to Maurice Gibb
A lot of Andy Gibb songs (Shadow Dancing, Everlasting Love, Love is Thicker than Water, Our Love, Don't Throw It Away; Desire;)
Sandra, this is a nice starter list. Thank you. I am new to this channel and am seeing these comments for the first time. Barry wrote some of these songs with Bee Gees collaboraters. The good majority of these songs were written by all 3 brothers together with occassionally one or the other brother working with Barry. Some songs were written by the twins Robin and Maurice. Barry is an excellent song writers but so are Robin and Maurice. They were also a trio and when the 3 worked together that is when the true magic happened.
Preciosa reacción ¡¡¡
Nice! However, more Bee Gees on their own, please - much more!
Early - very R&B sound:
To Love Somebody - '60s video
Massachusetts - live from One for All tour 1989 should be the one here
I've Gotta Get a Message to You
Words
Holiday
70s had the disco and two requisites you've heard How Deep is Your Love, and Too Much Heaven, but there were some killer R&B songs in that decade too:
* Fanny (Be Tender with My Love) must hear if nothing else. Do a good audio version as they never sang it live
Nights On Broadway - Midnight Special version
Run to Me
Jive Talkin'
How Can You Mend a Broken Heart
Then there are some fantastic songs in the 90s too:
Alone - official video
For Whom the Bell Tolls - video filmed in NY
You Win Again (1987 actually, but a GREAT song) official video
Sampling to get you started on their career. :)
also, early soulful song "First of May"
Ooh, yes! Meant to include that one. Thanks, Scott! I hope Sal sees our posts. :)@@MrCome4numb
Magnifique!😢❤👏👍
I love the live version
Her duet with Barbara Streisand is STUNNING ❤..
I just watched your Celine&Barbra reaction and it brought me here...Man...aren't those 2 songs simply timeless and beautiful? Thank you for your Celine reactions 🫶🙏
❤❤❤
This video and you win again are not in your Bee Gees’ playlist. ❤
I saw the Bergers in concert in 1974. It was amazing. I can appreciate your love of their work. Thank you for your heartwarming reactions. Also like how you feature some great Acadian artists.
Very note pure perfection. A brilliant calibration.
When I hear this song. The memory of my late wife comes flooding back.❤️❤️❤️😇🙏
WE have lost so many of the Bee Gee brothers; and now the Eagles are leaving us one by one. It is so sad !
It took them about 3 1/2 minutes to write this song.
Yep, Barry & Mo!🎶
The Live version is beautiful
Patty-I think you will love the 2017 version of this song. It's a tribute to Robin, Maurice, Andy, her brother, and her husband. I can't what happens because it will ruin it for you. Please react to thus one as well as the one where they are all in the studio recording the song.
she is one of the greats.
Very sad that Celine is now so unwell. Her very rare disease affects her entire body including her voice. A beautiful song. Both Maurice and Robin are already immortal and Celine and Barry will be as well when their time comes to leave us. Their music will never die.
Glad you got that .. much blessings to you
