What's needed is a rivnut whose expansion zone isn't adjacent to the top of the fastener, but closer to the end so it expands with more wood above it to provide pullout resistance.
You can make the bulge on the nut happen further down into the wood by wrapping wire around the shaft near the top of the nut. That way when the screw compresses the nut, it can't do it right at the top -- the wrapped wire prevents that compression there.

I had a real specific need a while back, and it did not need to be real strong and I ended up using some of these in a concrete wall. I drilled a hole just slightly larger than the rivet nut, coated the outside with an epoxy, inserted and compressed. Held like a champ.
@@ameunier41 I tried it without the epoxy at first, and after putting the screw in, it was not that hard to wiggle it out. With the epoxy, it would not budge.
I'm pretty sure if you drilled those holes deeper than you did it would not try pushing out while you were installing the part. If you watch it's pushing out because the bolts are bottoming out on the back side pushing the whole thing out before it can start to expand.

Try a prebulbed style? I often just epoxy rivnuts into wood after I've scratched a rough surface on the nut. It's good for making jigs, but if you want it to last, I always use the stainless steel EZ-Lok threaded inserts. Other threaded inserts tend to be too soft for most aspects. You can use the rivnuts in your video for things like aluminum or steel that is on a woods surface.

There are threaded screw inserts which are specifically designed for soft wood 😅 Might want to look into that if you work with this a lot. I have seen a type which is self-tapping as well, so you don't need to pre-drill holes first. Good stuff👌

...or fit the rivnut on to the back of the piece so that the bolt is pulling it into the piece, not out of it.

Put the rivnut in from the back (if possible) and the flange will pull against it instead of pulling out the weaker expanded part.

При тесте на отрыв. Нужно учесть что болт упирается в древесину и вытаскивает основание. А нужно было тогда просверлить глубже отверстия под болт.

This is wood expansion anchors. The same as in concrete - KB-TZ2 and many other manufactured by HILTI and Simpson.

I use this nuts with super glue, little bit less hole put glue and press nut with hummer.
Where possible the nutsert can be installed behind , with a thro hole in the wood to fasten from the opposite end. Will be more robust.
