- As we are all aware goldfish are truly the most fearsome of all creatures in this world - So naturally the nukes we are building must take this most terrifying form!

Basic Rules:
- No Single SUPER Drone, lots of smaller drones for fun and insanity.
- Sandbox mode is allowed but heavily discouraged
- No damage from the mothership, this includes point defense style weapons e.g. missile interceptors
- No damage from the avatar
- Passive detection set to 0 (The AI gets no detection without detection blocks.) This may be set to 0.1 If the enemy AI has trouble finding us to start fights.
- No Capturing Intentionally

I really wish FtD had a good incentive for quantity over quality; there was a _massive_ missed opportunity not just with the visuals, but also with the logistics of re-building craft/setting up fleets with craft that cooperates.
The music sounds like a football player being introduced, makes it seem like all the little fighters are a real team! Absolutely love it
@@NovaAgeAye, the issue comes in with efficiency, with how rapid fire everything is (excluding CRAM) and how accurate the fire is, its better to put all your bags in one heavily armored basket then spread it around.
I *love* seeing more From The Depths on the channel! FtD is what got me into your channel in the first place, and I'm very happy to see it again!
I would love to see you go at the Quest For Neter once more, as well! I think it'd be awesome to see some bigger designs which can work in conjunction, which isn't the sort of gameplay you'd get in the Adventure mode!
Idk if the intro was meant to be a good thing. But I've never been so badly burned in the first few seconds of a video and I love it.

At 11:30 , I suddenly had a wonderful drone challenge idea:
Melee drones.
Imagine a small Swarm of drills, rams, and particle blade drones eviscerating your foes!!!
That would be so fun! (Hopefully)

I was just thinking the nuclarfish could be improved by covering them in rams and cuddling their way into the enemy. If the trigger condition is true for say 5 seconds, detonate. Become the nuclear bodkin blowfish.

Evidently things didn't work out quite so nicely. Would definitely love to see this continued (and maybe see some actual plasma burst damage instead of little rapid fire ones).

22:00 The way that it just IMMEDIATELY turned around and rammed into the island of the carrier lol
I think it'd be quite cool if the goldfish nukes were to stay in the water longer and then come out when they're under the target. This probably would mean they would also be harder to hit and detect and hit the potentially softer underbelly of flyers and ships, probably downing flyers.
Maybe even make them have dolphin like breaches on the way to the target and then do a final 'jump' almost directly up under the target to hit, I think this would be very cool and add to the derp factor (Not sure how possible as I don't play FtD).
I love you videos and you're my favourite youtuber.
Should name the funny VTOL copters something among the lines of "The Guardian"/"Guardian Angel", "The Paladin", "The Valiant" or "The Valiant Guard".
I think it's pretty fitting considering the fact that the copters whole thing is to rush ahead and take all the enemy fire to protect it's fellow drones and it's mother-ship.
Guardian meaning someone who guards and protects, paladin meaning a heroic person and valiant meaning to posses boldness/bravery, it fits perfectly and makes sense as well.
The flying fish design was a stroke of genius. The concept. The application. The entertainment!
I love seeing your Videos Lathrix, keep it up, I work on the vehicles for the campaign, I'm the one who did the balance patch for adventure mode and I adore watching your playthrough ❤
A quick tip for building small planes and nukes: A small thruster costs 100, small custom jet parts cost around 20. You can completely forgo engine power and batteries that way, and they even outperform thrusters slightly.

I would love to see a variation of this series where you start off by strapping some light weapons onto your mothership, and then you can't build anything else. Every drone has to be converted from a captured enemy, but you just take the corpse and bolt new stuff on, so no repairing it to what it's supposed to be, and no removing parts. I think it'd be interesting to see this huge fleet of Frankenstein style vehicles lumbering around in all of their hideous glory.
Suggestion for a Sea Adventure Mode: An energy weapon only run. Also, The Swarm is alive! And love all the drone designs
I enjoy long format videos. They give me something to listen to/watch while waiting for stuff to happen in my other monitor.
The fight against the other aircraft carrier has got to be my favourite clip from the series so far

Please showcase those additional designs you mentioned wanting to go make after the run as well, I’d love to see the progression in designing.

For the algorithm, anyway I don't really comment on videos much unless I have an opinion on something or encouraging new content creators so that they have faith in their works so commenting like this is new for me.
But anyway, thanks for making amazing videos Lath, because of your videos I have discovered 3 beautiful games, mainly terratech, from the depths, and Stellaris, though I can't play any of these games (because I don't have any form of online payment yet and that I don't have enough of a beefy laptop to even attempt running them), I hope for better days and better nights to come for you.

21:34 the eyrie uses a belt to link two steam engine shafts to a single gearbox which is *usually* found in the center of the crater that goldfish left lmao

I had to go to your video list to find this, if you had put all the episodes together in one video (no matter how long) the algorithm would have shown it to me as I usually go for long form content. A 5+ hour video is not too long. I believe it's capped at 12.

My personal (very dysfunctional) favorite nuke design is a balloon with harpoon missiles that pull it towards an enemy. Super weak against ships with good AA or LAMS (so like 80% of designs that aren't DWG) but very fun to see in action, even when it doesn't work.

Hey lathrix, this series has been making me really miss the campaign of from the depths having full fleet vs fleet battles needing to create multiple designs for different senerios of battle having attack class units support class, artilery and airships and everything in between work together to win in a battle and i know they are probably a lot more for you to dedicate to make a single video but i would love to get a classic long form multi-epsiode campaign series, love your videos lathrix and love to be back in from the depths, its the game i found you on, i still every once in a while watch old campaign lets plays of yours, keep doing you.
also i love all your videos both long form (one long video) and series form (episodic) so keep doing what makes ya happy for each ill watch no matter the algorithm.

Don't take this the wrong way, but this kinda got dropped byvtue wayside and it's not uncommon with these FtD series. This is what makes me hesitant to watch them, becaise it's not wortj getting invested when they're so inconsistent and/or can be dropped (has happened before) at essentially any moment
Yeah, people need breaks that's not my issue. The issue is the lack of consistency, or something along those lines

i still say you need a dedicated awcs plane, a big plane that fly high in the sky,maybe even in space and feeddetection to the other drones
and keep a small amount of the first drone planes in case another mothership show up, like modify it to have a pure anti air missile
and maybe its time to make a fleet to protect you,like a corvette with cwis
I've been goofing around with nuke ships recently, building a proper breadboard controlled one turned out to be a fun challenge.

Another point to work on are bays/landing pads for the different drones. Your main ship looks still quite wooden. ;P
An easier way of releasing nukes than turning on their AI through the AI screen may be to use a complex controller and bind a key to each nuke’s tractor beam using ACBs I believe. You can mark those tractor beams as an exception to the general rule of “release when an enemy is within X meters”
Idk what would be better for next time, either a cram bomber/mortor craft that decimated with 1 hit, or a laser craft, maybe even a satellite. Either way, I'm looking forward to it!

or, insted of no more missiles, how about making them bigger? a sub that goes directly under a ship with a massive huge missile thats nothing but explosives only to release it on the undershide of the ship sounds fun. you know you want more missiles :P okay, now that im done pretending to be one of the voices inside latherix head, i too want to see more of this in the future x:

Idea for the next challenge run: Land Adventure mecha. End goal is to have a beam sword as the main weapon, but no restrictions on other weapons.

I feel if your going to make an under sea to air ramming craft it may be better to approach under the water and circle up rather than have it subjected to flack and other weapons that get an underwater damage penalty.
