body-wise, all you need to take off is the front bumper. The stomper is the 4 screws that hold AC condenser and radiator together. once bumper removed (13 screws) there are literally holes for those four screws in the stuff you removed.

I have done this to my Mk 4 1.6, it can be done buy removing the lower condenser bolt and fans internally in the engine bay, then you only need to remover the bumper, you can then access the radiator mounting bolts from the front, then jack the car and with enough wiggle room take the radiator out the bottom of the car. There is a guy on you tube that shows this method. Saves hours, btw your videos are superb and helped me do brake rebuild many thanks

Thanks! If I ever have to do it again, I'll try that.

@@tripsingh3642 I worked on it off and on. You could probably do it in 2 hours. But there was a tip that another commenter made about not having to take off the entire support. Once you get the bumper off, there should be holes to access the bolts that hold in the radiator

@MaqsVids Thank you so much MaqaVids really appreciated it.
I think mine needs doing as it slightly loosing coolant not alot I just assume I need a new radiator, 2 hours seems doable

18:33 Which hose is that under the battery going to the right(driver side) and back because I seem to have a leak there and it's dripping green liquid. From what I've gathered it's not a coolant hose so could it be power steering(the power steering fluid reservoir was almost empty when I checked)

I think you are talking about the power steering line. Is it the line I replaced in this video?

Actually I think I was pointing at some electrical cable cover in your video, but the hose seems to be in the same area above the horn and under the battery compartment right behind the left headlight. I don't have any way to lift my car right now so only way I could really spot the leak was taking a picture with my phone from under the car next to the front wheel, so it's a bit hard to id the exact problem. From the picture it seems like the hose clamped to something up there and either the connection has come loose and it's dripping or something has broken there. I will try to get the bumper off maybe tomorrow to get a better look.
From some hose diagrams it looks like it's neither coolant or power steering line but I don't think there should be any other green liquids in the car :/

Why are you removing the front wings of fenders as you call them. No need to do that. Just remove the front bumper cover then the radiator is easily accessible then.
