Having owned multiple smart watches, I like the ring form factor much more. This is clearly still early tech from Samsung, but down the line if they have ECG and NFC in the ring then it's an easy pick up for me. I hate having smart watches, I'd much rather have a smart ring with a more classic looking watch.

Could you test the ring with a non-samsung phone and see what features are missing? Heard energy score, but I'm not sure if that is true.

Samsung recommend wearing it on an index finger. Same reason as pulse oximeter.
Ordered on the Galaxy Store and got a discount... Plus a first responder discount and $30 in Samsung rewards mine was less than $300.

I can see rings getting big upgrades over the next few years then being small upgrades over the years after
