Well, I have had this ring for about 20 days now. It’s my first smart ring. But I have had an Apple Watch for about 10 years. What’s alarming to me is the inaccuracy in the heart rate measurements of the ringair. For example I was at the gym today on an elliptical and I had my Apple Watch on my wrist, the UH ringair on a finger and an oximeter on the same finger. The watch and oximeter were in good agreement with each other and my pulse rate was 108 according to both of them (+- 4 bpm), but the ring air app had my pulse rate at 158. 50 BPM more! I can tell you I was going at a slow pace on the elliptical and not anything like 158. Another fun story, totally true: when I first got the ring, I didn’t realize that there’s a profile you’re supposed to fill out with your age and gender and so forth. So for about a week, the ring was telling me that my cardio age was 25 then I found where I’m supposed to fill out this profile and I happen to be 64 so the next day after I fill that out my cardio age jumped from 25 to 63. Time really flies!
Just ordered mine. Waiting for the sizing kit. I use an Apple Watch daily but found it terrible to sleep with. So I’ll use the ring just for that. I probably won’t wear it all day.
@@jcap8391 In regards to sleep or workout tracking? I only use it for sleeping, but it is very accurate at tracking it. I would say it’s on par with Apple Watch, if not better. It’s absolutely more comfortable for starters. And secondly, it’s tighter on your finger relative to how tight a watch is on your wrist. We can debate what’s more accurate (wrist or finger). But overall, I highly recommend it.
@@jcap8391 It’s very accurate. I’ve been wearing the ring at night for the last week. It’s just as accurate as my Apple Watch, if not better. More comfortable and it fits better in relation to your finger compared to the relation on your wrist with the watch.
@@f8c3themusic I'm really on the fence about purchasing this. I read some reviews and post saying oura ring has more sensors which equals more accuracy. The readyness score is one of the most valuable data points I need. Garmin body battery I heard is the cream of the crop but didn't work too well for me bc I have extremely hairy wrists and medium dark skin. So it actually wasn't very accurate for me. Also have skinny wrist which would make me have to tighten watch too much. Ringcomm vers 2 is out but that doesn't connect with any external apps or devices from what I've heard. So between human and oura if it wasn't for the money or subscription aspect and they were both free would you still be choosing ultra human over oura?
@@jcap8391 I was skeptical at first but made the right decision I believe. As you said, Oura requires a subscription and I think that’s ridiculous. It’s one thing to offer in-payment services, but I don’t want a recurring subscription to know how many hours I slept. Ringconn has a lot of quirks with the app and doesn’t work too well with Apple Health I am told. Oura is more popular and I may have went with it if it didn’t have the subscription. So the Ultrahuman ring checks all the boxes. Accurate, reports my sleep data to Apple Health, not buggy at all, relatively inexpensive for the technology it has, and no subscription.
This is the best sized ring and it’s not a monthly price is amazing! As someone who is 6ft3 230lbs. The Apple Watch is small and confortable. The rings are bulky and big. My wife’s is tiny! It feels that way. I was wondering if the would have more space for bigger rings but it felt bigger each time
I ordered a oura ring 4 a couple days ago, note I've been using the oura line since 3 came out. I asked my wife if I should get the ultrahuman ring air, she was like nope just pay the monthly fee lol.
i was goin to purchase this ring .. but too many disappointment reviews about battery and inaccuracy. Now I can return the testing kit that cost me 13 bucks .. nice.
My experience with Ultrahuman AIR ring is disappointing. It was gifted to me by My Physician. I started using it in the first week of June 2024. it failed to connect (14th July 2024). Support did their job and finally replaced it with a new one. The second ring again failed (16/09/2024). They replaced the ring again. This one too failed within a month. I have returned it and requested for refund. 3 rings failed in a matter of 4.5 months. I am in Hyderabad, India .
I have had the same experience. After 8 days the ring failed to connect. Now they're offering to replace the ring, but I think I'll opt for a refund instead.

I’m guessing it’s not waterproof since you take it off when showing? I sometimes go swimming with my Apple Watch, can I do that with this ring? Also $350 is a lot for a device without a screen, the cheapest Apple Watch (the SE) is only $250. Do you know why this ring is so expensive?
Comparing a company that has to survive Vs a multi billion company who could brand water and still sell it is kinda of redundant Also the ring is price competitively with every other ring out there. Research isn't hard
They are investing in a growing technology and giving a premium product. They are rightly charging for that apart from all other benefits that was told in video and comments - Better sync with other devices and that its not a billion dollar company as of now.@@EPS5000
You sound like a shill. I know you are chasing the affiliate link, but you gotta settle down if you want to sound credible. All pros and no cons beside the generic "If you don't want health data it's not for you".
I’ve heard that this ring actually DOES have a monthly subscription. Maybe that’s just for extra features but I was excited about it having no subscription because oura is a bloody rip off.
All smartwatches track those things and more, and if one already has a smartwatch, this is a little unnecessary. That being said, I used to have a smartwatch one could sleep with but I want to get the amazing Garming Fenix 8 (should come out in September) and that is a little bulky and heavy to sleep with. For that alone I would get the ring to have sleep tracking... and for that alone, the ring price is really expensive
Watches are hard to sleep with watches and don’t think using a smart watch for going out somewhere nice is the way to go I have a garmin fenix 7x solar titanium and a galaxy ultra watch and a pixil 3 watch I don’t like sleeping with any of them and I would go out somewhere nice with them so I ring makes sense

does it show live data ? as heart rate as each second? or just an average

Can you please update on your opinion on accuracy compared to your watch?

any specific reason? what makes oura monthly fee worth it in your opinion?
Does this work with Apple’s Find My?
Looks awesome and congratulations for passing 100K subscribers.
The issue with these rings is the inaccuracy
Probably because you got the wrong size
After pre-ordering the Oura Ring 4, I just canceled the order because of their subscription model, and ordered the UltraHuman Air instead.
Thank you!

But what is the point of tracking sleep pattern?
Can I use oura ring fittings test rings on this
No. I have an Oura Ring in Size 12, but regarding to the Ultrahuman Sizing kit i need a Size 11.

It's waterproof, just if you wear wearables like rings and watches in the shower things build on them and your skin so a lot of people don't do it.

Nice ring ultra human
Great video.
its better to compare this ring with other brands

Ringconn is another big player spec wise much better than those 3
struggeling a bit with the App , i got it like a week ago and not yet used to it
I can't figure it out either.
Same!!
They sent it to me for free and I forgot to review it. Ok. And my wife also got one gratis. Trust me.
you referred to it as matte black and I think you really meant matte grey
Or they gave it to you 6months ago. So you could wear it for 6 months or to review the data.
Great vlogs.
Hurruh! 4k Sub done.🥰
3.4 to 3.6 ounces????? Seriously?
Does it track sleep apnea?
No.
Is this video sponsored?
They sent him the ring six months before he made the video. So not sponsored just video farming by the company.

all inaccurate data - the worst product- boat ring does better than this
