Thank you for being considerate enough to show us a cheaper way of getting disc brakes. I reviewed Amazon rating and it had an 85% approval. It helps out with people who can not afford to upgrade but would like to have hydraulic brakes. I realize no one item works flawlessly all the time but this seems like a good tool! Thank you for sharing! Can you give an update since this video!
You also had the TRP Spyres in mechanical that have both pads that squeeze the brake. That's what I took for my new bike build. But hybrid brakes like you used is also very good. I wouldn't call it hydraulic though since it's still half mechanical. You have less liquid and if you brake too much it generates lots of heat and could potentially render your brakes useless if too much water and it boiled. But for normal rides it shouldn't be an issue and the bleeding is much simpler than with full hydraulic. I'd advise against fully hydraulic brakes for normal people like us.Maintenance of hydraulic brakes when necessary is kind of a nightmare. And, if like me, you have a leek in your shifter, it's game over.
Ι have fafrees hailong 26'' e bike which has lever with brake and exactly below a cable that gives signal to moter in order to stop . I want to upgrade to hydraulic because after some long rides i need to set the breaks , so if i want to slide over the procces, if i choose these breaks, will i solve the problem ? or not? can sb direct me please?

With proper adjustments on the cable, it might but hard to tell. Thanks
