It is on the front, but there is a reason why none of these videos show doing the back when you have top tube (or any external) cable guides, I guess you would just need to zip tie your own cable guides all the way to the back of the bike, because hydraulic lines certainly aren't going to thread through cable guides, especially if they are the kind that act as cable stops for exposed wires (which was always a stupid idea anyway).
Hi, thanks for your comment, and apologies for not getting back to you sooner. I’m sorry to hear that the video wasn’t as helpful as you expected, but it looks like @petejackson3687 has already provided a great solution for your housing routing issue.
Great video - didn't realise this was even possible !
Hi Mark and thanks for the comment. Now you know, are you planning to upgrade yours? If yes, let me know how you got on.
@@cyclemaintenanceacademy rim brakes on the roadie and hydraulics on the mtb so no need for me but was interesting to watch regardless

Great video, many thanks. Probably a great idea to roughen up the rotors using emery paper and cleaning with rubbing alcohol. thanks, Dave
Hi David. Thanks for the comment and I'm pleased that I can always count on your extra helpful advice 🙂👍
Great video. 👍🏻
Thank you so much for your kind words! I apologize for the delay in responding, but I truly appreciate your support! 👍🏻
So no replacement of the discs are necessary and all hydraulic brake brand calipers are a direct replacement for all mechanical brake calipers?
Bad video. With mounting cable for rear brake is not simple. So tracing the cable is a problem, because of various size of holes.
Just use shrink sleeve the new hose to the old cable and slide it on through the frame,Easy Peasy 👍👀
