Just got my g80 m3 comp two days. I have a 4 month old baby girl and the insulation/quiet aspect of the car I find very appealing. I just upgraded from a tanzanite f80 and the smell of the catless down pipes, ethanol, loud exhaust, and super loud r888r tires made the car super unfitting for a family car, especially living in Miami. The g80 is so refined that I truly appreciate how quiet it is and I might have to disagree slightly that it is numb. It is superior to the f80 in almost every way and I have a huge smile on my face when I’m zipping around. I even find the stock gurgles comically funny, even though I’m convinced they are artificial through the speakers. Honestly, I turned 31 this year and realized that my tastes had changed. I plan to leave my car stock (only way I could convince my wife lol) but I live vicariously through your build and others like you. Truly special how well your car is set up and I respect the fact that you have been content with leaving the power stock for the last two years.

Just got my 6MT frozen gray G80. I love it and cannot wait to get the first service done so I can see what she’s got up top!! This car has saved me from being solely a motorcycle guy (S1000RR) that I had feared ruined cars for me. Long live the manuals!
Ken, totally appreciate your ownership experience. Mine as well. Had my G80 spec'd to my wants and owned her since 11/22 and every time I climb behind the wheel I get that new ride experience. I just picked up my brand new Manual M4 and I feel like I’ll never get rid of this car. It has more power than I’ll ever be able to use. For the record the HP increase is significant. BMW’s figure is wheel HP and is slightly less than what they say but not crank, so add 15%. It’s basically 547 HP and 480lb torque to the crank, which makes since based off the way it feels and drives. Coming from a 2023 RS3, the car was quick on paper, but it didn’t feel quick and seemed pretty underpowered. Of course it was a little bullet off the line cause of the AWD, but my M4 is in a WHOLE different league!
Got my ‘24 this past December and just about to pass 5k miles. I fully spec’d it and have been adding some mild mods slowly. It is, IMO, the best performance sedan under $150k. It is just SO well sorted. Now that I added the CS tuning, the steering is nearly where I want it. So good.

To be honest in the near future probably not but who knows down the road. I still think this car has enough power for me. As I get into making more power I have to worry more about the clutch

I bought my 2024 M4 Comp Oct 23 and just cracked 10K miles, I love this thing.
Definitely a dream car to own a g80! I currently own a 2019 sti and I think it might be the next move. Love your videos man keep it up!

It's definitely similar to the f80. It's very easy to drive as a daily. Very forgiving
10k - not far off here at 6k - you planning on tuning it? Really hard not too imo. For me it’s either lci or tune / lower this one.

I honestly think it does. It also depends on how you modify it too. But stock for stock you'll definitely get more heads turned on the G80
