I have a 2022 M4 manual. I took delivery 10 months ago today. My wait was 345 days, 20 days short of a full year. My car is Isle of Man Green with Tartufo brown full leather interior. I have al most 6000 miles now and have had not trouble at all except for a tire cut in in the sidewall o my right rear, which looked suspiciously like vandalism as there was no other damage to the tire, the wheel, or the fender. I traded in a 2015 F82 M4 manual, a car I loved for over 7 years. That said, I live my G82 even more. I find it much easier to drive as it is much smoother starting off from a stop and shifting gears, particularly from 1st to 2nd. I believe that this is partly a result on changes in the torque curve from the S55 to the S58 engine and possibly changes in the clutch linings. I really love the interior. That Tartufo brown full leather makes the car feel even more expensive than it is, like a luxury GT. I did not order the carbon fiber seats. I tried them at in a car at the dealer before I ordered mine and found the awkward getting in and out of the car. I'm in my 70's and not getting more nimble at my age. I really like the looks of My G82. I didn't like the front end when I saw the first photos in Car and Driver, but when I first saw one in person, I really came to like it. I saw a car in the showroom thin in Isle of Man Green and immediately decided that if I was going to get one, that would be the color. My ordered the moonroof so I don't have the carbon fiber roof, and did not order the Shadowline package. My roof, mirror caps, and lip spoiler are body color and my exhaust tips are chrome. The bi-color 825M wheels really pop. Perfect! Overall, I find the G82 much improve over the F82. If I had to order again I wouldn't change a thing. I'm loving it!!!
I definitely appreciate your Insight and I know others are reading this and feeding off of it. The tartufo brown leather interior definitely makes it a more luxurious look and feel to it. I know you almost waited a year, but I know the weight was worth it! Thank you for watching the video.
@@TheDailyDriven The wait sucked. 😞 At least I still had my F82 then, which, of course, was my trade-in. And, as I said, my G82 is a whole lot better. 🙂 That is certainly not to say the the F82 was bad. It was a great car.
Thanks for the feedback on shifting, good to know it's an improvement! I never got along with the clutch in my old F80, the take off in first never seemed smooth and often had a judder. Same thing with my current M2 sometimes. I was reluctant to go MT if I get a G80 but if it's better than the previous gen, I might go that route after all 😁
Congrats on your 1 year ownership🎉 beautiful, I have only had my Violet Blue for about 2 months, I went X drive and I actually like the staggered wheel look, so just did M performance HAS suspension, 10 and 14 mm spacers and I have kept the stock wheels...love them. So nice that these cars become a part of you and can represent each ones style. Awesome to see how each person does their own things🙌🏼
Great video honestly. I will be ordering a 2025 g80. Especially about the rotor rust. I have that same issue on my x3m although it isn't that bad at least in my experience. Usually i drive it a little after the wash to dry the water off to not have that issue. just maybe a slow cruise down the street or parking lot. I want the carbon ceramics on my g80, but I can't bite that bullet of almost 10k honestly. I can always upgrade the rotors and brakes later for way cheaper. I have seen plenty of people do it on their g80 now. I upgraded my brake pads to isweeps because of the brake dust. They cut down the brake dust some. You could also ceramic coat the wheels and brake calipers and it helps as well. I will be doing that on my g80. Thanks for the video. Great spec.
Im a larger frame person and at the BMW performance driving center I was able to drive the G82 rwd on the track. I can say, the track seats are worth every penny! I was super worried i wouldnt fit but it I dropped right in. Plus if youre in the back you can tickle the driver. :P Also, most people have no idea of the capability of the G8x chassis. It handles amazing, the traction control algorithm is one of the best in business. Its an absolute monster on track and has plenty of power even in stock form. Driving that car was one of the best experiences ive ever had. Thrashing a 100k car with carbon ceramic brakes was a memory i'll hold onto forever.
I like the G80 because its unique in looks, but don't see myself owning one because I just like the F series more looks wise. The F series has no bad angle for me, but all G series have at least one angle I don't like.
Just picked up my 2024 G80 manual last week and absolutely love it. Great to be back into a manual M3 daily after running an M5C for a few years since my F80C manual. On the squealing brakes, they’re just high performance pads. All it takes is a couple of high speed applications to quiet them for a while. Just speed up to 80+ and roll into the brakes moderately hard down to 30 mph. That will clear up the squealing for a while.
Congratulations on the Manual M3. This will be the last Manual M3 unfortunately so definitely enjoy it! I might have another solution in a future video with the brakes. Especially the horrible brake dust.
@@TheDailyDriven last manual? 😢 Now I want to buy a couple extra spare cars and store them! 🤣 Looking forward to hearing what you’re thinking on the dust. Ceramic coating helped a bit on my M5 but steel M brakes generate prodigious amounts of brake dust!

I just took delivery of my 23 Twilight Purple M3 Competition xDrive a month ago after a 13 month wait. It is an absolute beast. Just had my run in service done, so I can't wait to get on it! I've had several BMWs Audis, and Lexus models, but the G80 is just another level. Definitely agree with you on the rear calipers. They should have put 4 pot rears. Agree about the exhaust tone, but a midpipe and exhaust flap controller completely solves that. Wheels are subjective. Of course you buy a car and it comes with stock wheels, but BMW M wheels are pretty great for stock. I'd love to lower my car, but the roads where I live are atrocious, so having the front clearance it has is beneficial.
Thanks for checking out the video! Congrats on a gorgeous color m3! I have a Valve controller exhaust video coming up hopefully later this month. It definitely makes a huge difference
I looked at one on the weekend, that interior is unreal man. And sitting in the bucket seats and non bucket seats was so comfortable. I'm making an order in May...then it's a 3 month wait.
My M3 had excessive noise from the brakes (realizing that all M cars have some squeaky brakes) but after one track day it was gone. You really have to brake hard and it will go away. A track day will do it but you just need to take it to a free road and brake hard and it should be squeak free for awhile.
I agree with the engagement with the manual transmission. If it wasn't for this option I would look the other way. My production starts in this mid July and so excited. Just sent an email about SC performance delivery and waiting to hear back from the dealership. Thanks for the tip and what I should expect. Thank you!!!!
@@ScrubOnCrack yes. I sent them an email about the lodging cost. They emailed me back to confirm it's free and cc my dealer on the email. My dealer mistaken about the cost. I also learned from guys on FB that PDC would only schedule for us to coming after the car gets to port in Georgia and there's going to be another wait time when the car actually got to port. His car has been sitting there for two weeks now.
Yup same here. People who have not driven manual just don’t understand how good it feels to be engaged. It’s like the final piece connecting you completely with the car and something you enjoy whether driving at slow or high speeds.
I had 2 f80s including a CS and my g80 xdrive was night and day better in pretty much every single way. a lot faster, less dead steering, put the power down when you wanted, but could also get the tail out in mdm and 2wd mode. Enjoy your g80!
This car is definetly on my bucket list for the future. I'm very happy with my e90 atm. I am a little worried about prices on this car becoming impractical due to it being the last non-hibrid manual m car... I think it's still an attainable goal. Love the vid!!
Will be ordering one towards the end of the year after my new house is built. I was an original owner of an E90 M3 that was totaled last year by an idiot with no insurance running a red light. I wanted to keep that S65 engine forever, it was a manual and it was just as tight as the day it was delivered, even after 14 years at 110K miles. The most reliable BMW ever, with original Bearings. I had two carseats in the back for the first 4 years and a double side by side stroller in the trunk. It was my daily driver and the absolute best choice to compliment an SUV.
Its not pretty but it grabs your attention when you see one . I couldnt look at that interior daily but something tells me its amazing to drive and has practicality
I bought a f80 M3 CS about 6 months ago and love it. Prefer the look and rawness. I think the g80 is faster but it's just a weekend toy and I don't care about the 0-100 times.
the carbon ceramic brakes are definitely worth it if you can get over the price. no dust and so far on my 2023 m3 comp (daytona violet) they havent made any noise in 5k ish miles
The brakes make that squealing noise because the pads are asbestos and metallic. They are performance pads that allows the car to stop quicker especially when you take them on the track. If you don’t like the sound or are embarrassed when driving in public, just change them to regular asbestos pads.
Love my g80. Favorite car I’ve owned. Agree 💯 on brake dust. I laughed at the prospect of buying ceramics beforehand but after fighting with the brake dust I think it would have been money well spent.
Can I just ask how do you justify having a race car that has 3 extra seats and 2 doors in the back that puts extra weight? I mean with that money you can get something more race focused while buying a normal daily camry you can use practically. Not only will you get more performance but also less concerns driving your car daily and parking it anywhere you like. Thoughts?
My f90 M5 has the same little caliper on the rears too 😢. Replace the brake pads w something else other than stock and brake dust greatly diminishes. Red looks great
I will say seeing your car and exactly how you have it is the first new M3 I have said "damn that looks good!" The nice emerald green color is the only other color I can get past the nose on them. Even if I could afford one I personally think I'd go for an M340 but seeing your spec is amazing.
Again, great content. Thank you! I officially ordered mine today…I currently live in Germany, so it’s only a 2 week wait. I’ll bring it back to the states later this year and start some of the mods you’ve done/recommended. 🤙🏽
Glad you touched on the rattle, it drove me nuts in my f80. Coming from a different viewpoint, I always tune my cars to the max. Now I have a 340 manual with xdrive that makes over 700awhp but the cali traffic really sucks, I only drive it once in a while. The new G80, like you said looks great lowered on a decent set of wheels. To me, the biggest pro of the g80 is the interior with bucket seats and the fact that a downpipe and a tune will make more power than what took me countless mods on my 340
Great review, love the updated interior but I still think your F80 looked way better. The lines on that car were gorgeous. The rear looks really good on the G80 but I still can't look at that front end with any kind of positive feelings
I took delivery on June 8, 2023 and just hit your mileage a week ago 😂😂 I’ve put maybe 100 miles on my e92 m3 since getting my g80. Likely will sell the e92. The g80 is incredible for a daily
Love the video. I am not the only one that hates the wittle brakes 😂 in the rear. At this price you expect at least a 4 piston brembo style break in the back. My 370z had them and cost half what an M car cost. I ordered an M2 last month but now I am starting to like the M3. I like both equally now 🤦🏻♂️💪🏻
Great job bro, Huge Ford fan, as well as NASCR fan, because Ford no longer makes performance Sedans or Hatchbacks anymore M3 w/ the Stick or the M3 Competition are my dream cars, M3 Comp, because I live in NY & the winters are tough dude !! TY for your Vid bro.
Love my G80 M3Cx. You mentioned the brake dust and squeal, another -con- is cleaning the stock wheels as a result of those issues. They're beautiful wheels but that is a lot of work every 2 weeks to keep clean with all those spokes, switched to ceramic pads to resolve.
@@fzr1000981 I went with iSweep1500. Squeal is gone and dust is much much less, about same as stock performance. One issue though is the pads 'clunk' on some bumps which is common to most aftermarket pads probably since they don't have the weights on them like stocks do.
love the car and agree on the rear brakes. for example my camaro ss (30k less car cost) comes with 4 piston fixed rear calipers and similar front brake setup except my front rotors are 2 piece..
I can’t believe it’s been a year already considering we got ours at the same time. Same boat and truck and all! For me, because I work from home I’ve only put 2800 miles on the car which is a little crazy. I came from a low mile f80 comp and had an m2 cs in between. I love the looks of the car, the technology, the platform/motor, etc. however, I miss the rawer feeling of both the f80 comp and m2 cs. I don’t mind the zf8, I think this motor was tailor made for it. The only do over for me would be possibly ccbs and an individual color. Mines a keeper unless the lci is worth it but I plan to absolutely keep a g80. It’s the last ICE generation.
Yep it's winding down to that year mark which is pretty insane. I think within that year I got a good grip on what this platform is about. You should go and drive the car some more man enjoy it!
@@TheDailyDriven yea i traded in my f80 for the x3m comp and as soon as my daughter turned 2, my wife gave me the green light for a g80 :) happy wife happy life🥰
The squealing brakes is annoying for sure. There is a page in the manual with a remedy for “functional noises”. Basically brake hard (not emergency ABS engagement) from 60 to 15mph about 3 or 4 times to clear the glaze on the brakes and that should stop squealing for about a week.
I've joked with a friend that his M240i's caliper looks better than the new rear caliper on the newer cars. He put himself on the new M2 allocation list at his dealer so I am looking forward to checking out since he's probably going to do some autocrosses in it. My guess on the brake dust and noise is BMW "could" be using a compound that should the owner decide to take it to a track day, they "should" hold up. Of course a more experienced driver may overheat them, etc. But I think given the sporting nature of an M3/M4, you'll have to live with the brake dust on the OEM pads. I can deal with brake noises b/c racecar noises lol, but the dust is the worst. One option would be to find a less dusty pad and sacrifice of overall brake performance (which might be negligible on the street), but would require testing several brands of brake pads out to see what works...or getting the carbon ceramics lol
Yeah those rear calipers are definitely something very interesting to not look at lol. Yeah that M2 is going to be epic on the autocross track. Yeah I've heard of less duster pads and I'll have to look into them in the future. Getting the carbon ceramics are a far distant option lol. They are very very costly after the fact.
I'm also a big advocate of learning the car before you abuse it....especially after I spun out my G87 m2 making a left hand turn at a traffic light and hopped the median :(. Wish it didn't take that happening to respect it but it was my first real "performance car". My prior car was a GV70 with a JB4 that made close to 500 HP and 500 Torque but it was all wheel drive and probably a 1000 pounds heavier so you could stomp the throttle all day and ti would just grip no matter if it was wet or dry..
Ive just put the deposit down on a new M3, this is a great video for someone excited to learn more. Which spacers and coil overs did you use? The ride height looks great and the wheels actually fit the arches properly!
Congrats on the one year ownership. Car looks amazing. I still don’t want to let go of my f80 competition manual yet even tho vroom is giving me a really good deal on buying the car. Let’s see. Btw. What brand wheel are u running they look really good
The way I feel about the G8x is that they are just going for what sells and away from their roots. They made the ride more subdued, more luxury, and less raw. No dct, got 8 speed torque converter auto for more smoothness and luxury, interior is better, car is pretty heavy, has awd too now. That's not what m3 used to be, but it's what sells these days. F80 is even more raw experience than the G8x, let alone the older generations. Not to say it's not a great car, but it certainly is far from what the original m3 was. I'd definitely say your F80 looked better
Very nice review! You’re 100% right about the interior….perfecto! 👍 I have a ‘16 F82 Comp and I have loved every minute of ownership. Lots of tasteful cosmetic mods and it still looks brand new (full PPF). The quality is outstanding and I must say that I don’t have a single rattle at 7 years / + 50k miles. Love getting thumbs up and waves from strangers on the road and in parking lots. People are shocked when I tell them it is 7 years old. One of these days, I’ll move on to the G8x but it will be awhile. 🍻
lol same, got a 16 F80 and it has ppf/ paint corrected and ceramic coated and looks so good still. Cant justify that front end and more boring/ isolated driving experience. Probably keep f80 and then get a 911
Love my G80 Comp X. I think with a full carbon package, reflector deletes and a GT style grille it's really good looking. On power I saw that someone recently dynoed the Comp and it put down 502 WHP which is nutes. Also agree on the M day. Maybe I'll see you in Austin this year?
Yeah all those changes make a big difference. The only time I'll be in Austin this year is to visit the friends. Unfortunately no car related activities
In the states you're never really heating the brakes ir pressing the brakes hard enough for them to fully engage therotor. Stateside I bet most are using 1/4 and maybe sometimes half the braking power. Mine is US spec and I'm blessed to live in Germany with it. I've had minor squeaks on rare occasions but that's usually after a couple weeks of slow commuting. Hit the autobahn and heat them up when a VW polo pulls out in front of you snd I promise, no more squeak😅
@@TheDailyDriven I’m tired washing the wheels. My car is fully loaded except the ccb. If I were to buy the car again I would have gotten the base car with nothing but the ccb
@AERoVALKYRiE yeah if I had to do it again I would have added the CCB for sure. One thing you can do is get aftermarket pads that produce less dust. Which I'll be doing doing most likely in the future.
Ps to get rid of that annoying break news, youll have to slam on the brakes a feel time. A lot m owners, do not probably break in the brakes. BMW actually said during break in, youll have to hit the brakes hard a few times. :)
We've gone from a time when people used to talk about how much they loved their car's design to the present time where they spend a lot of time justifying and trying to find a way to make it less ugly. Not for me.
The car community has always been very diverse. It's always been the ones that would want to modify their cars to throw their personal touch to it, then you have ones that just need the car stock.
still prefer the f80, can't get over the the weight and the grill of the g80. Way too big for me, almost like an SUV. Definitely looks much better lowered though
To me, I've always admired the four-door M3 as compared to any 2 door M model. I think the visual Aesthetics look better in my opinion. One major factor that helped me solidify the decision was knowing that at the time My wife and I wanted kids. So having 4 doors was a bit more practical.
Great content. Would love if you could do a video on why you would not recommend getting the full extended leather and what the lifting on the leather actually looks like over time.
I have the same brake issue on my M340. I just changed the pads and rotors 3-4 months ago and they still squeak crazy loud. Everyone thinks I need new brakes but I tell them I literally have new brakes

I agree with the engagement with the manual transmission. If it wasn't for this option I would look the other way. My production starts in this mid July and so excited. Just sent an email about SC performance delivery and waiting to hear back from the dealership. Thanks for the tip and what I should expect. Thank you!!!!
Ever hear back about the SC performance delivery?
@@chitterlingsrtasty 100% and this is the reason I'm getting it and keep it for a long time due to it's last generation that we can enjoy it.
I had 2 f80s including a CS and my g80 xdrive was night and day better in pretty much every single way. a lot faster, less dead steering, put the power down when you wanted, but could also get the tail out in mdm and 2wd mode. Enjoy your g80!
@keithwong5482
Got rid of my M2 since I have a kid on the way, and this is the car I'm looking at to replace it. Thanks for the review, you helped make up my mind.
Glad I could help. I just had my first kid and I can say it's plenty of room for him. But I'll use my wife's X5 as the main transport for him lol.
Glad you love your car!! I have the G83 and I’m in love! Congratulations on 1 year!!!🎉
Awesome to hear 🤘🏻. Enjoy it 💯🤙🏻
This was a well made video. You touched on a lot of things that a lot of people fail to mention. Great job.
Thank you, I appreciate it. 🫡🙏🏻👍🏻
Its not pretty but it grabs your attention when you see one . I couldnt look at that interior daily but something tells me its amazing to drive and has practicality
Yep totally agree, and interior is not for everybody it's definitely loud. I absolutely love the interior for sure
That front grill makes it one of the meanest looking cars on the road in my opinion.
I bought a f80 M3 CS about 6 months ago and love it. Prefer the look and rawness. I think the g80 is faster but it's just a weekend toy and I don't care about the 0-100 times.
The break squeak is normal for performance cars. I got the same with my GTR
the carbon ceramic brakes are definitely worth it if you can get over the price. no dust and so far on my 2023 m3 comp (daytona violet) they havent made any noise in 5k ish miles
Ohh I'm definitely jealous lol. Just washed my car..immediately after driving it up and down the driveway. Rust water all over the barrels 😆🤣
The brakes make that squealing noise because the pads are asbestos and metallic. They are performance pads that allows the car to stop quicker especially when you take them on the track. If you don’t like the sound or are embarrassed when driving in public, just change them to regular asbestos pads.
Got an f80 and love it. Great to hear your comparisons.
Awesome video. Thank you. Hopefully my experience will be as pleasant as yours when my car arrives this December (fingers crossed 🤞🏿)
It will 🤙🏻🍻. Thanks for checking out the video!
“Ben the second goat” lol I will definitely talk about the breaks in a video with you brotha. Nice one year review ✊🏽
Love my g80. Favorite car I’ve owned. Agree 💯 on brake dust. I laughed at the prospect of buying ceramics beforehand but after fighting with the brake dust I think it would have been money well spent.
Yeah those ccbs would have been nice right about now. But I'm also looking into low dust pads.
@@TheDailyDriven true. Probably the best option. Any good prospects?
I like the look of your last BMW. I personally would have kept it. You never truly get back what you put into it.
I love G80 more, with Adro front bumper it will look so aggressive, my dream car ❤❤❤❤
It's definitely AGRESSIVE 👌🏻
Can I just ask how do you justify having a race car that has 3 extra seats and 2 doors in the back that puts extra weight? I mean with that money you can get something more race focused while buying a normal daily camry you can use practically. Not only will you get more performance but also less concerns driving your car daily and parking it anywhere you like. Thoughts?
I’m coming up in my 1-year as well! 🍻
- And yeah, the wait sucks. I did individual as well, Portimao Blue w/ Fjord Blue interior.
That Blue on Blue must look amazing!
@@TheDailyDriven it turned out great!
I can’t believe it’s been a year! That’s awesome!
Time is flying by !
Enjoy it! The e92 M3 is just a marvelous Beast with that v8. It would be amazing to keep both
Love the video. I am not the only one that hates the wittle brakes 😂 in the rear. At this price you expect at least a 4 piston brembo style break in the back. My 370z had them and cost half what an M car cost. I ordered an M2 last month but now I am starting to like the M3. I like both equally now 🤦🏻♂️💪🏻
Loved the grilles from day 1.
Nice Bro me too i bought mine exact at same time 😎👌
Best Car i've ever had
Awesome to hear 🤙🏻. I'm enjoying it for sure. Can't wait to continue the mods
The car is growing on me. Still am ehhh about the front end. Adro front bumper is the way to go imo.
Keep up the vids 👌🏽
Thank you!, I got a few things lined up for the summer. The mods should be rolling in hopefully soon. There's been a lot of delays
What ceramic pads? Did it really resolve it?
@@fzr1000981 I went with iSweep1500. Squeal is gone and dust is much much less, about same as stock performance. One issue though is the pads 'clunk' on some bumps which is common to most aftermarket pads probably since they don't have the weights on them like stocks do.
Crazy how fast a year went by! Can’t wait to see the build continue 🔥 - baby seats and groceries soon for us both 😂
This is facts lol. Car seats and diapers 🍼lol
totally agree with the Rear Brakes should have been a 4 pot, plus the E-Brake - like Lambo's with E-Brakes...
Yuppp absolutely 💯
love the car and agree on the rear brakes. for example my camaro ss (30k less car cost) comes with 4 piston fixed rear calipers and similar front brake setup except my front rotors are 2 piece..
Yeah its crazy when I saw my rear brakes lol. The car still performs incredibly well
I can’t believe it’s been a year already considering we got ours at the same time.
That spec is clean 🔥
Much appreciated 🙏🏻
3:30 Thank god my vendor’s the best at its Job 👍🏻
Saw this when i was back home a few months ago, had no idea this was You!
🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Appreciate the honesty in your video 👌🏽
I appreciate that and thanks for checking out the video!
I am 3 month into my g80 ownership! So far so good:) yea I agree, my old f80 felt more cheap.
Congrats on the on moving up to the G80. Agreed 👍🏻 💯
@@TheDailyDriven yea i traded in my f80 for the x3m comp and as soon as my daughter turned 2, my wife gave me the green light for a g80 :) happy wife happy life🥰
Red on red looks amazing
The squealing brakes is annoying for sure. There is a page in the manual with a remedy for “functional noises”. Basically brake hard (not emergency ABS engagement) from 60 to 15mph about 3 or 4 times to clear the glaze on the brakes and that should stop squealing for about a week.
Good to know! I'm sure others would appreciate this info.
They are very very costly after the fact.
bro that red looks so good, damn
that is one sick looking M3 man
Thank you 🙏🏻🫡🫡
I like these but if i do take the plunge into an M car it will be the F90 M5. Love that V8 and how it looks, much better than the M3.
Hoping that one day g80 will be my first and daily car. Thanks for videos and opinion!
You will! You got this ! 🤙🏻💯
The waiting is the worst part. 😂Have my M340i sitting at " ready for transport".
Hahaha so true !!
Great video just placed an order for my m3 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Love the car so much
My dream car next once I trade in my merc
Would have got the m3 straight away if affordability wasn’t an issue
Prices will drop, you'll just have to wait. But it's an incredible machine
Best and nicest bmw
G80 owner 🤟
🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Bro, I agree. The F is badass and the G is too bloated. I saw one and thought it was a mid size Lexus.
For the brakes, try getting different pads like I know akebono make good ones with very low dust. OEM pads always go crazy with the dust haha
I actually have me eyes set on a pair. Just gotta pull the trigger on them.
What bothers me is the length/width increase but most of all the weight. Nice clip & skills. BTW Toronto Red was a fine choice.
It's actually BMW individual imola red
@@TheDailyDriven I'm currently in a 2020 "Heritage" and guess what, Imola Red. Best red on the planet.
Very nice review! You’re 100% right about the interior….perfecto! 👍
I have a ‘16 F82 Comp and I have loved every minute of ownership.
Probably keep f80 and then get a 911
I only got 4 months with my g80 and put 3300 miles on it love this thing 🤣
Clearly shows how much you love it 🤝🏻🤛🏻
Love my G80 Comp X.
Hit the autobahn and heat them up when a VW polo pulls out in front of you snd I promise, no more squeak😅
brake dust /squeeking = change brakd pads to ECB Yellows and u good.
I'll definitely look into upgrading the brake pads
It looks great. I don’t know if I would choose a different spec.
Those wheels are 🔥🔥. Car looks amazing. Well done. What wheels are they ?
Thank you! They are Edelweiss Lightweight Wheels LT5. Heres the video for that incase you are interested
th-cam.com/video/OnxesBapB1s/w-d-xo.html
I got the manual like you, I also regret not getting the carbon ceramic brakes.
Nice to hear another manual! Yupp ccbs ftw
@@TheDailyDriven looking forward to your update and recommendation
Ps to get rid of that annoying break news, youll have to slam on the brakes a feel time. A lot m owners, do not probably break in the brakes. BMW actually said during break in, youll have to hit the brakes hard a few times. :)
Yeah I've done some heavy braking during some exhaust content. With hard accelerations and stopping. Definitely some good insight though.
Sweet ride. It'll be G87 for me. I am just not a fan of that massive display in the M2 that looks like a complete afterthought.
I am pretty sure the G87 is the 2023 M2.... did you have a typo ????
I am pretty sure the G87 is the 2023 M2 did you have a typo
still prefer the f80, can't get over the the weight and the grill of the g80. Way too big for me, almost like an SUV. Definitely looks much better lowered though
Yeah this platform ain't for everyone. It definitely needed a drop. Got some more mods coming in that will transform the G80.
Straight 🔥🔥🔥🔥
🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I'm torn on the M2 vs M3. What made you choose the M3? (I have kids, although I've been making it work for the past several years with my F22 230i)
To me, I've always admired the four-door M3 as compared to any 2 door M model. I think the visual Aesthetics look better in my opinion. One major factor that helped me solidify the decision was knowing that at the time My wife and I wanted kids. So having 4 doors was a bit more practical.
#1CON: Even after a year the front grills still didnt shirnk.😂
great vid 🙂
Thank you 🤛🏻🙌🏼
Great content.
I owned the older 340i it also had squeaky brakes. It seems a BMW thing.
These cars need an aftermarket grille and lip kit immediately. Changes the whole aspect of the car.
So true. I got plans for that later this summer.
