Great video, Ken! I really like the different things you covered because not many people on TH-cam focus on those things so it was very helpful! If I should get a G80 in the future, this will definitely help! I hope the little one and wifey are healthy and happy!
Automatically record mean continues recording 24/7 so be careful I’m also sure that data gets uploaded to a cloud somewhere. Who knows what they do with it.
I live in Florida too and just switched out of Geico to progressive. It was painful because I had the MBI but the amount of money i saved by switching was significant enough to where i could have bought an extended warranty
I'm not a bmw fan but I'm watching your videos because of new ideas and inspiration modding my car, as soon as I saw this video about new license plate holder, I bought it to my car too 😄
So it’s basically an extended warranty like manufactures do it? not bad for the price. Bmw wants like $2,500 to give you another few years after standard warranty expires. My g80 at the port and now I’ll def contact Geico
Yes it's like an extended warranty. So once my factory warranty is up after the four year period anything mechanically Geico would pick up. As long as it's not wear and tear. It's always good to give him a call and see what the cost ratio is. But it's definitely not worth it if you plan on only keeping the car less than 4 years
i heard drive recorder is not reliable all the time and some people had accidents and it didnt record. i opted for port install bmw car eye pro for more peace of mind
Good info for G80/82 - or really any new BMW. I’m waiting delivery in August of an Individual M440i xDrive. (The extra $20k for M hard for me to rationally justify). I’ll do Modesta ceramic, but weighing PPF. Have seen too many videos of peeling, yellowing PPF installed by razor blade wielding installers. Yikes!!!Last, I know BMW fans are supposed to love carbon fiber, what is basically ugly black plastic. Marketing genius.
Individual m440i will be definitely interesting. Does not a lot of people that choose an individual color for those. Congrats! Definitely recommend doing ppf at least for the front clip. Old technology in ppf used to have yellowing issues. One of the good things about ppf these days is that they do provide a good warranty in case it does yellow they will replace it. The only hard part on your end is to find a installer that knows what they're doing. I highly recommend asking around and finding it installer that hides the seams.
It is from racing sport concepts. Here is a video with that install and more information about their products. Quality is A+ top th-cam.com/video/1aeYzLjcoMs/w-d-xo.html

Thanks mike! I tend to like making these types of videos because I know it will help others when deciding. Always appreciate the support!
Current exhaust set up please. Have a G80 stick shift on order. I went through all your videos! Great content.
My mentally with ppf not going to do it. Just let the bumper get beat and eventually go adro.
Where did you get your front lip from ? 🔥
great review and all facts...

I got one on order in sapphire black and def plan on stealth ppf the entire car

@The Daily Driven, can you share your insurance premium and coverage?
Drive recorder is now a $100 option. Obviously a no brainer. Exec package may have it standard but I didn’t spec mine with exec

Thanks for checking out the video! Hopefully that plate holder works for your car. Not sure if it works as a universal amount

I honestly haven't heard that but it doesn't hurt getting a secondary dash camera.
What’s the link for the port? Haven’t heard of that and my g80 arrives in September.
huh i didnt know the g8x could do recordings of the cameras, thats pretty cool
One of the cool things about the new Gen

@@TheDailyDriven Thank you!

💯💯🤘🏻
Would you be open to selling your stock rims
As of right now I plan on keeping the stock wheels
I disagree. I would pay more for a full PPF preowned car over one that was naked
