"It was fun while it lasted." I've said that so many times in the past. It happens. But hey, it is just an engine, so nothing too serious. I mean, at least the car wasn't wrecked, nobody hurt. You'll have it going again.
@@xlr8ing_zgarage I wouldn't say it's about maximum, it's about reliability. 3900 just has better internals. But a 3400 can use your gen 2 top end so that will make it an easy upgrade.
@@Slowv8Fiero the 3.1 cylinder head got beat up pretty good by the broken piston and already had a free 3400 so gonna use that top end and block with some blending of both engines. Budget build style.
@@xlr8ing_zgarage cool. Stinks about the busted heads seeing as your intake ports for the gen 2 don't line up anymore. I had a custom itb intake for gen 2 heads. I wasn't able to use them with 3400 or lx9 as the port floor was raised after gen 2
Oo gimmie the 3.1 parts lol I can turbo mine. Always wanted to find the parts in a junkyard to make mine turbo but very rare to find the parts unless custom made
