I purchased the 2024 it’s beautiful. I was driving a 6 cylinder suv and don’t notice any difference in power. Actually the Highlander has more horsepower than my 6 had. I’m very happy.
I have the LE model 2023 runs great , decent gas mileage.
I test drove 2023 vs older Highlanders. I preferred the V6. I felt the turbo lag was significant and even around town, the 2.4 liter was too small for the vehicle weight. I will be interested to see how reliable the new powertrain is.
No turbo lag at all. I do turn off the start stop button immediately.
Love the way you’ve used the actual Highlander font for the thumbnail lol.
Needs an exterior make over. I have an older one that I love, but I can’t stand this current generation front of the vehicle. The horsepower is only 15 less I believe. The grand is too big for me, this vehicle is the perfect size.

What new vehicles have a backup camera resolution that reviewers say is great?
Literally with every manufacturer every vehicle review i’ve ever watched on youtube no matter what channel it is, when they get to the backup camera they always say something to the effect of the resolution on the camera sucks.
Volume button in a weird place. That would drive me crazy
I'm very confused by this because my wife just got a new highlander and the volume control is on the driver side now. Maybe they had enough complaints to change this on the line. Every review I see has the knob on the right... 🤷

Can’t answer that but: My wife was in pain every time she exited the sedan. Her physical therapist encouraged her to get a crossover or a van. The Highlander eliminated her pain on exiting, but at 4 ft 10, she needed me to add running boards.
I would buy a highlander if it’s finally redesigned. It looks like a last gen rav4

Regular highland is gonna sell more than grand highlander since it’s more affordable & not every one needs the extra room
I mean grand highlander is too big for families of 4 or 5 people so highlander is probably good for those people and for those who need the extra space can also get the grand highlander rather than getting the normal highlander.

For most people highlander is better option
But if you have too many kids grand highlander is gonna be the go to option
@reddevil6585 I mean the grand highlander does also have a Hybrid Version which is pretty fuel efficient Ugh I just wish the Hybrid Max system had the V6 rather than a V4 Turbo man what a bummer like the TX V6 plug in hybrid is gonna be released by only 6 seater and not a 7 or an 8 seater!

just test drove the '24 highlander, less than impressed. I checked out the '24 kia telluride and '24 mazda cx-90 and both were much better imo. Highlander engine definitely struggled to get up to speed compared to the other 2. Interior feels very outdated and lot more plastic than desired. Finish on inside felt cheap to me. Seat cushions/quality lower than other makes as well. I ended up driving around in a $50K platinum model too so very disappointed and feel like Toyota really dropped the ball on this particular model. I could go on and on but definitely an inferior SUV to others in the same class.
Which one did you purchase?
