Proudly a owner of 2023 Pilot Touring and loving it. Plan is to drive it till 200,000 miles, and I could not put that faith and confidence in any other brand beside Honda & Toyota
My Kia Sedona is at 150k right now and planning to drive till it reaches 200k. So far no big issue (bought it new). Thinking about getting the carnival after 😊
The 3rd row in most of these is quite tight, but the big trend in the last decade has been for families ditching the more utilitarian minivan for the more "sexy" SUV look... In my opinion, the Grand Highlander is the way to go if you want space, efficiency and overall reliability. I still think that the minivan is the best choice for large families. Cheers!
This is what I thought until I’ve done my own research. I don’t care about exterior at all. I bought a Pilot, not an Odyssey, because I watched FMVSS301 of minivans and saw the third is generally not safe enough as the seat would crumble and collapse to the second row.
I just purchased the new Honda Pilot Elite, and truly the only critique I can give is the infotainment screen could be larger to keep up with the other competitors in it's class and a redesign on it's graphics/layout within the infotainment. Ditch the primary colours on the apps, but that is just a little nitpick. I personally am a fan that they kept the V6. All in all, this three row SUV feels well rounded, functional, and luxurious!
Great review! It’ll be helpful if you add one more point about cabin noise in your reviews. Some people prefer a quieter cabin so it’ll help them make an informed decision.
Been driving my Grand Highlander Hybrid Limited for over a month now. Absolutely love it! Spacious enough even in third row for adults and tons of cargo capacity. Hybrid engine is great, averaging 7.5L/100km. Still waiting for my block heater and second key fob to arrive though
They really need to offer the bench in the middle as an option for the regular Highlander on the upper trims. It would make it more utilitarian and a selling point for this smaller 3 row.
Although I think 6-cylinder is an absolute necessary in this kind of heavy vehicle, I am intrigued by Toyota's Hybrid Max system. My personal favourite has to be Mazda CX-90 and Toyota Highlander family. As nice as Telluride and Palaside are, I am not dealing with those arrogant dealers when it comes to these hot sellers.
I test drove all a month ago. I owned a mazda and that was my trade in. CX90 offers the best engines overall but space wise lacking big time. Toyota GH felt very cheap but that Hybrid Max was fun. I was ended up getting a 24 calligraphy Palisade with beige interior. I couldn’t justify paying $6000 more for the Toyota and Mazda. Especially Mazda would be a tough choice if you have two kids and a dog.
Very nice job on this series guys, much appreciated! (So glad you recognized the Durango, I have a 2016 Hemi V8 R/T and at 100k, no issues, solid as a rock, handles great, 23 mpg. highway, red leather interior, Beats sound system...one of the best vehicles I have ever owned!)
Remember when every regular sized car could haul 6 people? Was also when full sized wagons had far more cargo space than all these hatchbacks combined.
This is what I don’t understand. All our modern vehicles are huge, but feel small inside. I guess they’re full of air bags, screens, ventilation, and styling. New cars such.
Yeah, cars should be wide. A 2005 park avenue can seat 6 because of the front Bench seat. You think with hybrids without a transmission tunnel they could do better at fitting more people in. Old wagons could seat 9.
Very helpful video. I would point out that while you seem to prefer 3 bench seats, in practical terms of getting folks in and out, I prefer the captain's chairs in 2nd row. Looking to get a hybrid 3 row car soon.
I took delivery of a Mazda CX90 PHEV GT at the end of August and it suits me. I wasn't looking for a big carry-all vehicle but more of something with a little more room than a 2 row and I liked the plug-in feature for putzing around town, which is most of what I do. I know you have talked about the CX90 transmission not shifting the best but I haven't noticed anything. Then again I don't drive it like a sports car, because, you know, it isn't, but I do find the CX90 does handle well for a vehicle of this size. I am happy with my purchase but for sure if you are looking for the roomiest vehicle (or close to it) in this class there are others to look at.
Have my Mazda CX-90 for 14 years come August and this is the first year I have to spend any money outside of normal service. One of the best vehicles ever made.
When covering vehicles this size, and most with automatic transmission, there is a high probability the buyer pkans to tow something. Perhaps you could throw in tow rating right after torque rating. I tow a 21 ft boat. I would go for the Honda or Mazda myself, but primarily on looks. I might change my mind after test driving them all. Nice review.
Why didn't you mention Nissan Pathfinder? 😮 The space in the 3rd row of Pathfinder is more than that of Mazda and Toyota Highlander and it’s completely suitable for families.
Great video. I mostly stuck to your car review videos and decided to give the “Top Picks” a try. I’m glad I did, I really enjoy them. Keep up the good work.
I'm going for the grand Highlander. 27mpg, 450lbs torque, 3 real rows of seats, Toyota reliability, and 0 to 60mph in just over 5 seconds, wow. Cannot wait to get mine
I drove the Subaru Ascent recently and loved it. I found is spacious. I was surprised for the not so good reviews on it. Didn’t noticed the “noise” level though. What do you think about that?
Great video, I would love a Segment where you go over how hard it is to find these said vehicles since 3 of the 5 videos you had are impossible to find since the dealerships are all out and can take months to even get to look at one. Other then that, amazing details and the fact you are Canadian is even better
Great video! We really enjoy watching your shows. Are you going to do a top 5 3 row larger luxury SUVs? I’m looking at the Lincoln Aviator or Navigator. I haven’t seen any information yet on the 2024 Aviator. Hope you have something on that soon. 😁
I have a CPO '23 pathfinder Platinum with only 10k miles. Roomy, powerful and rides well. I personally think it's got more than 284. I has been in the shop for three issues. 1. Memory seat module went bad 2. Front collision system needed a new sensor and camera 3. Fuel pump went out 4. The actual mirror on the driver's side had to be re-mounted 5. The clock seems to have a mind of it's own 6. Replaced the tires since there were a couple of tears in the Bridgestone's sidewall This is Certified. I would liked to have been a fly on the wall when it went through inspection. I'm going to see where I am at and try to pick up a '24 Acadia. Glad it's still under warranty.
Great video as always. We went with the new pilot black edition. Drives less boat like than others we tried. But the removable 2nd row seat is it's best feature and a great example of how the Honda really shines in practicality and usability
@@MrNurse-cr1lq pretty good imo. Screen could bigger but it's good enough. We use android auto and apple carplay exclusively. Only minor nitpick is the system itself takes longer to boot up when you start the car than other cars we've had
I have a 2022 the infotainment is total junk. Honda needs to get with it. Thats my biggest gripe with my Honda above anything else. Anyone who says it’s okay prob hasn’t used or driven the completion. They are currently catching up to where Toyota and dodge were at 10 years ago. Thats a big difference.

You didn't mention that the Mazda CX-90 inline-6 models are actually mild hybrids, which is why they get such terrific city mileage. The redesigned Traverse would be on my short list except for the rear side windows which result in a huge C-pillar and limited side visibility if you're seated in the third row.
If I were in the market for a 6 or 7-seater with a 3rd row that can at least seat a shorter adult comfortably and still have practical boot space behind the third row, I would go for a minivan, rather than an SUV as my vehicle of choice. Something like Honda Odessey, Hyundai iMax, Kia Carnival, Volkswagen Caddy, Toyota Tarago would be in the mix, maybe even LDV MIFA if I'm feeling lucky or the Merc V class if I won the lottery.
I expected to love the Grand Highlander, and the Hybrid Max drove great, but once I actually felt the finishes I started looking elsewhere. We ended up with a Telluride. It's my favorite looking in the class (though the updated Traverse is a close competitor), and the integration of the safety features is super intuitive. The classy look of the brown leather interior really tipped the scale. Way to sneak 10 vehicles into a top 5 list!
Thank you for this video. Looking for a switch from my mini van to a 3 row SUV and this video was very helpful. Sounds like the Gran Highlander is the pick for me. Sad that Canada doesn’t offer AWD options. So frustrating.
Dont like your channel any longer but i picked up the CX90 Turbo S PP in Artisan red and tan interior. Love love love it. So luxurious. And a head turner
I tend to be utilitarian with my vehicles so I’d pick the Pilot; as Zack said, it does everything well. I find it bewildering most of these don’t have a bench seat for the second row. Great reviews as always. Love these year end Best of videos.
Great video Andrea! Funny thing is all gas models are almost the same gas mileage and hybrid are great. I would pick CX-90 for handsome vehicle. Thanks for lots of information! 😆 ☕️☕️
- 2024 GMC Acadia - Chevy Blazer EV - Outlander or Outlander PHEV (Best bang for the buck, but I would question quality even though this is one of the top selling SUVs)
Great video as always guys! You two are the best! My wife and I are retired, with no children, and we are team minivan all the way. We are on our 6th one of various brands. It’s the Pacifica Hybrid Limited and love it! It is similar in size on the outside, but way more room on the inside than any of these. We’ve had 4’x8’ sheets of plywood and a 7.5 foot couch in ours with the hatch closed. Let’s see any of these sport “utility” vehicles do that! 😂
This is not the 1st time that motormouth have ignored Nissan pathfinder.. Here in USA, its selling much better than all your honorable mentions, at least 3 times than VW Atlas. i own Nissan pathfinder 2022 and very happy with the SUV.. i regularly get 28 to 30 MPG. and very roomy and peppy engine and overall much better than other SUV and its at least 3000 cheaper than honda pilot. very sad to see motormouth doesn't even consider it.. nothing wrong on nissan side, definitely something from their side. may be they didn't get the cheque they were expecting to highlight the car.
I'm trying to like the Mazda CX90 but the looks in the back just look weird to me like a round bubble head. Kia Telluride seems like best option for me. Great video really appreciate it :)
Having fallen in love with Toyota hybrids and their MPG I'd need to wowed to buy anything else given the same price. The Highlander XLE hybrid and Grand Highlander XLE hybrid are roughly the same price after BC taxes, I'd struggle to pick between those two, kinda odd though
I did the math, had my dad do the math. Hybrids don’t save money. The extra cost in car registration, insurance, sticker price, maintenance, and larger drop in resale value compared to a ICE. It’s a slight financial loss. We did the math for someone drive 15,000/miles a year and for someone putting 30,000/year. Either way you save more money buying a gas when accounting for all factors.
@@robbyprice8247 It's different here, no extra costs to register or insure a hybrid, only increased maintenance cost is a brake fluid flush every 3 year mark, and hybrids hold their value better, more in demand. Using a Highlander XLE 11.2 vs 6.6 gas vs hybrid L/100km fuel consumption, driving 16,000kms a year and our $1.75 gas in BC, fuel savings alone are $1300 a year. Similar savings if driving 25,000kms a year using 10.0 vs 7.0 L/100km combined ratings. With a $3300 price difference to get the hybrid vs regular gas, it pays for itself in 2.5 years. I had a similar calc getting my Camry hybrid vs a normal gas, it was just over 2 years to pay the difference in purchase cost.
I looked at a lot of different vehicles and went with one that isn't on your list: Genesis GV80 Advance Plus 3.5T AWD. Price was up there, but it's well worth it to me.
Great Video !!! Prices went up for the available Telluride, Palisade will be renewed soon, no Toyotas available to buy, so we are happy with the 8 seat Pilot Touring + removable/storageble seat. Very light steering, small screen and auto engine off are low points
Loved the video and would love to own a new honda pilot! but I was waiting for the Jeep grand cherokee L to show up somewhere and never saw it, don't know you opinion on it but would love to see a video or someone talk bout it to see what you guys think of it!
I sat in a 23 honda pilot elite and 24 GH Platinum. The Pilot feels WAAAAY more spacious in every row. It is night and day. GH feels like a small cockpit. Pilot is spacious and roomy. No brainer
Great video. Thank you. Loads to digest. Would have loved info on warranties for all or perhaps highlights. It plays into pros and cons for our family. Thanks again…
The Honda Pilot 2023-2024 model stands out as an exceptional choice in its class, offering remarkable value for its price point. It combines impressive features, reliability, and versatility, making it a compelling option for those seeking a well-rounded vehicle.
You guys really missed the boat on this one. The dated interior on some of those models needs to go. And the Korean models like the kia sorento are very impressive for the money 22:47
Highlander with hybrid is top choice for me. Its goldilocks size make it easy to live with and park. And compact car fuel economy is the cherry on top.
Great video , must disagree on caption seats. When there are two car seats in the middle row the captain seats allows for the extra passenger to squeeze between to the third row. No one would unhook and change out two car seats from middle row to third row with toddlers
Very curious about the 2024 GMC Acadia once you get your hands on it. The Traverse too, since same powertrain. Hopefully you both can test drive them soon and give us an updated video for the Acadia and Traverse. Personally I like the Acadia a tad more
Yes I wanted to buy in December but trying to wait for the Acadia and traverse, super bummed it’s not out yet 👎🏻 hope I’m still able to get decent deals when they come out 🙏🏻
My two favorites, the Subaru Ascent and Dodge Durango didn’t make it I guess. I still think they’re better than the Kia Telluride and Hyundai Palisade though.
I will pick Mazda CX-90 because of the 3rd row seats is the best fits for Mother-In-Law. based on Zack mentioned twice @ 10:50 in this video. Thank you Zack!
My (partial) choices, like you no real ranking - but with qualifiers. - Telluride but (ideally) with Palisade seats - Mazda CX90 - next year after 1st year glitches ironed out - Honda Pilot - but with an old school shifter. Also, to me styling is highly color (or tone) dependent. The lighter colors, showing off a dated look (already), a big "meh." The utilitarian champ however. - Toyota Highlander Hybrid - with an interior refresh, but that aspect overall probably the least of my objections of the five, meaning if I had to, probably the safe number one choice - or maybe tie with the Honda, each for different reasons. Smaller yes, but still a good size for most folks if they were honest--though the lust for 'only bigger and newer is better' gets those vehicles the immediate attention--but smaller footprint all the easier to live with on a daily basis,.. for those with only occasional need for the third row, or children old enough to be back there on their own. Maybe you should do another category, "handy tweener-size SUVs with occasional-use third row"!.... that to me would probably still include the Highlander, plus the Sorento / Santa Fe etc. Maybe the likes of the Mitsubishi also but that *really* is very occasional use only. - Grand Highlander, if you really need the space. I get that there is a Hybrid Max, but too bad the missing V6 in the lineup. - Palisade, but with normal shifter. Other than that, the front styling is a bit too forced blingy for me. Like many others, both the Palisade and Telluride need to permit the second row bench on higher trims. A bit surprised the Pathfinder didn't make the grade here, at least as honorable mention. V6 and middle row bench available most trims including highest. Echoing others, great series guys!
Pathfinder is "too late, too little", especially since Nissan is basically dead as a brand. Mazda is struggling as it never learned that for family buyers cabin space, trunk volume and soft ride matter a lot more than firmer "bumpier" ride and sporty handling. It's essentially down to Korean twins vs Toyota twins. Honda is out of game as it's prehistoric V6 and poor MPG is more suited for 20 years ago than today.
Consider including the payload value for the vehicle you are showing, including a shot of the yellow sticker on the drivers side door jamb. The tow rating is less important than the payload which is usually the first to be violated.
Can the average growing family actually afford an over $50,000 vehicle? Personally, by the time I could actually afford an over $50,000 SUV … my children had ‘finally’ gone to Uni (university)… and that was (finally…) this past September. As a growing family can have ridiculous expenses (trips, sports, cottaging, amusement parks, etc… Food!), I could only really afford ‘used’ Estate cars (station wagons) and a minivan (to which I loved!). But then again, maybe it was because owned my vehicles outright (no lease/finance). To each their own l suppose… Thanks for the video.
Dual income is a necessity for most families due to how everything is. Rare to have a single income unit these days where one of the parents stays home with kids.
A vehicle should never be more than 10% of your monthly income. And with the average car payment of $729 (in Americaland as of today) that’d work out to $87,000 USD… BEFORE insurance, maintenance and fuel! Which families (even dual income!) can afford those amounts?!? After all… we cannot forget about taxes (including property), heat (A/C), food, entertainment, kid’s sports, property maintenance/improvements, clothing, appliances or even food!! Money doesn’t exactly grow on trees… at least not in my neighbourhood.!
I agree with you on the 10%. This is the rule I stick to as well. But you also have to remember that pay is higher in USA 12% of USA households make 200k or more. That’s about 15 million households with pretty good buying power.
Happy Holidays from Southern California! This is the category I've been waiting for! I had an MDX that I loved but need to steer clear of premium gas cars. Pass on Mazda PHEV because there's no pass thru btwn 2nd row captain seats. Would love Hybrid Highlander if it had a smidge more luxe feel. Looking fwd to the midsize luxury video!
Im looking at third row vehicles and looked at these but cannot justify it over the usefulness and practicality of a minivan like the odyssey or sienna.
Wow, congratulations on your Maverick, such a cool truck. We are hearing it may arrive at the end of December or sometime in January. Cross your fingers!
Exactly. It's like people want higher towing capabilities but later barely any of them use it. 🤷🏼♀️ it took me forever to find right suv because most had two rows with captain chairs and then the 3 rd tow is cramped and nobody wants yo be there but takes away cargo space.
So which one is the best lol i want the 8 seater but a large 3rd row that would comfortably fit 3 adults at the same time in that row. storage for groceries dont care about gas mileage. Fold down seats a plus, with some bells and whisles, but that can also tow a trailer loaded down with 2 dirt bikes and a 4wheeler and thats awd 😅
I'm looking for a smaller SUV with power. I drive in the Dallas/Fort Worth traffice and you have to be able to have some pick up and go because, if not, you will get run over.... Which one for power with a sleek look and large navagation screen?
I went from the top trim Telluride to the base trim Pathfinder. There isn’t too much I miss about the Telluride. The Pathfinder might be a better bag for the buck.
Proudly a owner of 2023 Pilot Touring and loving it. Plan is to drive it till 200,000 miles, and I could not put that faith and confidence in any other brand beside Honda & Toyota

@@Will-cj5fn yes
My Kia Sedona is at 150k right now and planning to drive till it reaches 200k. So far no big issue (bought it new). Thinking about getting the carnival after 😊
Bad 2nd row safety due to bad seat & belt design. 2025 model fixed it a little, but not all the way. But great vehicle, could've been my #1 pick.
I have a 2004 pilot with 360k plus miles
Pilot seems to be the most well rounded while still having the best AWD system and handling with the TrailSport trim being the most off road ready.
Love that you added Consumer Reports’ rating as well!

Well it's getting the Accords 12 inch screen later they just had to many parts shortages so they left room for it
Too cheap looking

1. Memory seat module went bad
2. Front collision system needed a new sensor and camera
3. Fuel pump went out
4. The actual mirror on the driver's side had to be re-mounted
5. The clock seems to have a mind of it's own
6. Replaced the tires since there were a couple of tears in the Bridgestone's sidewall
This is Certified.
How is the infotainment? Our 2020 would glitch all the damn time.
Good video, thank you. For the gentleman, may I ask how tall you are? Trying to get a visual for much space the seats have.
Not in the market for a 3rd row, but it's a Motormouth video, so I watched.

This is great! Thank you! The AI missed the Subaru Ascent at 21:54
This is the best overview of Cars-SUV"s you can watch and understand.
You didn't mention that the Mazda CX-90 inline-6 models are actually mild hybrids, which is why they get such terrific city mileage. The redesigned Traverse would be on my short list except for the rear side windows which result in a huge C-pillar and limited side visibility if you're seated in the third row.
What vehicle are you sitting in doing your review it looks nice
If I were in the market for a 6 or 7-seater with a 3rd row that can at least seat a shorter adult comfortably and still have practical boot space behind the third row, I would go for a minivan, rather than an SUV as my vehicle of choice. Something like Honda Odessey, Hyundai iMax, Kia Carnival, Volkswagen Caddy, Toyota Tarago would be in the mix, maybe even LDV MIFA if I'm feeling lucky or the Merc V class if I won the lottery.
The CX-90 with he inline 6 would *definitely* be my choice!
It is my choice I got one
inside space is cramped. third row pure garbage
Great list. It will be interesting to see how the Chevy/GMC will stack up... Found it interesting that Jeep GC-L didn't make the cut.
Jeeps are turds.
I was surprised Acura MDX did not make it
I tend to be utilitarian with my vehicles so I’d pick the Pilot; as Zack said, it does everything well. I find it bewildering most of these don’t have a bench seat for the second row. Great reviews as always. Love these year end Best of videos.
Glad you are enjoying our Top 5 video series, it's a great wrap up to the year.
They do until you get to the top trim. I think all base and up to top have bench as standard.
How about a show about a two row mid sized suv
Great review as always and with the collapse of the EV market Toyota should be applauded for having both Hybrid and non-hybrid engine choices!!
Hybrids are such a great choice and Toyota continues to push forward with them which we love.
Will you be reviewing the 2024 Santa Fe? Curious to see how it compares to Pilot or Highlander given the refresh
Great video Andrea! Funny thing is all gas models are almost the same gas mileage and hybrid are great. I would pick CX-90 for handsome vehicle. Thanks for lots of information! 😆 ☕️☕️
Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed it all!
@@andreaspencer9813 You are a very welcome!
- 2024 GMC Acadia
- Chevy Blazer EV
- Outlander or Outlander PHEV (Best bang for the buck, but I would question quality even though this is one of the top selling SUVs)
With grand highlander being out of stock and production issues, can you suggest a good space 3 row suv space wise for 8 seating?
if u ask me which u choose Honda crv
Great video as always guys! You two are the best! My wife and I are retired, with no children, and we are team minivan all the way. We are on our 6th one of various brands. It’s the Pacifica Hybrid Limited and love it! It is similar in size on the outside, but way more room on the inside than any of these. We’ve had 4’x8’ sheets of plywood and a 7.5 foot couch in ours with the hatch closed. Let’s see any of these sport “utility” vehicles do that! 😂
Latest model Nissan Pathfinder fits 4’x8’ plywood sheet. It was in the reviews when it came out a year or so ago.
@@ovpet4133 we’ll just have to try 🙂. 4x8 sheet fits, then 7.5 couch is less than 8 😉
Terrific video and great information on all these vehicles! Keep up the great work guys👍👍
I got the Atlas 2024 Cross sport to to avoid the 3rd row :P - love the car so much :)
Savage said this cat is terrible
@@mbenton6 why?
I’m enjoying it a lot so far, but it’s only been 3 months 👍
Yea I'm in for the best midsize 2 row ice segment
Love your informative videos so appreciated, what do you think about 2023-24 Mitsubishi Outlander is this good SUV
You gave a lot of good information, but I was really interested in a comparison of the space to haul cargo with 2nd and 3rd row seats down.
I'm trying to like the Mazda CX90 but the looks in the back just look weird to me like a round bubble head. Kia Telluride seems like best option for me. Great video really appreciate it :)
Pilot❤❤❤ no review for the new pathfinder w/o CVT?
Just got my Mazda CX 90, I got the base model but I’m super happy with it. They had a sale this month for 1.9 interest
What do you think of these suv s with double clutch transmissions. Are they liable for years of driving ?
I bought the CX90 PHEV. It is a big heavy car but drives great and mileage is the best.
How much miles are you getting per liter?
Loved the video and would love to own a new honda pilot! but I was waiting for the Jeep grand cherokee L to show up somewhere and never saw it, don't know you opinion on it but would love to see a video or someone talk bout it to see what you guys think of it!
No third row seat
I sat in a 23 honda pilot elite and 24 GH Platinum. The Pilot feels WAAAAY more spacious in every row. It is night and day. GH feels like a small cockpit. Pilot is spacious and roomy. No brainer
Great video. Thank you. Loads to digest. Would have loved info on warranties for all or perhaps highlights. It plays into pros and cons for our family. Thanks again…
I just loved the "Mother-in-law" comment for the Mazda review.😄
Great videos overall, congratulations!!
And compact car fuel economy is the cherry on top.
looks cheap Japanese shit
My pick is CX-90 Signature
Me too
May I ask why thinking bout purchasing the cx90 sport
Great review - can yoj please update with best Hybrid 3 row recommendations
CX 90 all the way!!!
Third row for kids, expensive and not good fuel economy.
Can't imagine that the 2024 Santa Fe won't be a part of this list when released to the North American markets.
Great video , must disagree on caption seats. When there are two car seats in the middle row the captain seats allows for the extra passenger to squeeze between to the third row. No one would unhook and change out two car seats from middle row to third row with toddlers
Well done again Andrea and Zack! Personally not sold on the Mazda yet but you guys know more than me.
@10:48
Andrea: "Third row leg room is probably better for children…"
Zak: "AND mother-in-laws" 😂🤣🤣🤣🤪
The mother in law could not climb in or out
Very curious about the 2024 GMC Acadia once you get your hands on it.
Honorable mentions
I will pick Mazda CX-90 because of the 3rd row seats is the best fits for Mother-In-Law. based on Zack mentioned twice @ 10:50 in this video. Thank you Zack!
😂
Mazda did bad at crash test
CX-90 did well in crash testing, better than the Grand Highlander. Pilot did well except Moderate overlap where it was Marginal
My (partial) choices, like you no real ranking - but with qualifiers.
- Telluride but (ideally) with Palisade seats
- Mazda CX90 - next year after 1st year glitches ironed out
- Honda Pilot - but with an old school shifter.
@@danguelph2676 you make some good points.
Cox Automotive Group agrees with me … 83% of people consider a new car to be just “out of their reach”.
Fair enough. You’ve got a point.
Happy Holidays to you as well, Top 5 luxury is coming soon.
Bought a new Mazda CX 5 premium plus yesterday . What a nice vehicle.
Awesome choice, congratulations!
Im looking at third row vehicles and looked at these but cannot justify it over the usefulness and practicality of a minivan like the odyssey or sienna.
Just took Delivery yesterday of my 24 Ford Maverick Hybrid XLT pretty happy so far. Do you have an update on your VW delivery.....?
Wow, congratulations on your Maverick, such a cool truck. We are hearing it may arrive at the end of December or sometime in January. Cross your fingers!
It’s funny, I don’t think I’ve actually seen anyone driving a 3 row SUV full of people in all three rows. Maybe it’s just where I live?
Exactly. It's like people want higher towing capabilities but later barely any of them use it. 🤷🏼♀️ it took me forever to find right suv because most had two rows with captain chairs and then the 3 rd tow is cramped and nobody wants yo be there but takes away cargo space.
My daughter has four sons. Used seats
When are you going to do top 5 luxury 3 row SUV’s?
No Outlander? D:
So which one is the best lol i want the 8 seater but a large 3rd row that would comfortably fit 3 adults at the same time in that row. storage for groceries dont care about gas mileage. Fold down seats a plus, with some bells and whisles, but that can also tow a trailer loaded down with 2 dirt bikes and a 4wheeler and thats awd 😅
Sounds like you really want an AWD minivan! Bring back the Astro and Aerostar!
Where’s the fully electric 2024 Kia EV9 from the list or the honourable mention?
Just tuned in for another informative and entertaining countdown both 🎉
Thank you, glad you liked it!
I don't think it should be bench seats across all trims. Some of us love having the option to have Captain Seats!!
I'm looking for a smaller SUV with power. I drive in the Dallas/Fort Worth traffice and you have to be able to have some pick up and go because, if not, you will get run over.... Which one for power with a sleek look and large navagation screen?
I think Highlander hybrid is best ..
I went from the top trim Telluride to the base trim Pathfinder. There isn’t too much I miss about the Telluride. The Pathfinder might be a better bag for the buck.
