I believe the purple flowers at the beginning are bearded irises, beautiful. Super place. Bet there are many treasures hidden in there. Good to see you back in the saddle
Such lovely pieces of furniture and I agree that the 1950’s television was a work of art. So many interesting things to see in this little pocket of treasures of living before gaming and the internet changed it all. Thank you so much for sharing!
You literally allow me to feel like I am experiencing every moment with you...Thank you for paying so much to detail...You allow your audience to feel as though we are right there with you...I'm a new subscriber and thoroughly enjoying bing watching your videos...;)
What a very strange place! When it was abandoned...in the 70s I'm assuming, it looks like the person was already very old and living in the past. There are things there from so long ago! Unbelievable! I also thought it seemed a bit eerie and noticed a few knocking sounds....in a way, though it's sad to think of the gentleman dying there....it's a bit easier to think of dying suddenly because he didn't suffer.
Hi must have been a grand house back in the day all going back to nature the jar with the rubber piping reminded me of John Christie from Rillington place
Thanks for watching & commenting. I thought our Richard Samuel Attenborough, Baron Attenborough played christie very well, but I also liked the character pinkie in Brighton Rock, although in my defence I was not around in 1947. still gotta like the old black/white thrillers.
Beautiful house.. that plant looks so fresh.. not even dust has collected on it.. if its plastic.. was it plastic.. your description of the house sounds like a poem.. beautifully written.. all those letters.. wonder what stories it says.. beautiful wood work and furniture.. and looks like they have traveled.. ( i have to stop for now.. be back soon to watch and comment the rest)
Gorgeous house, fabulous furniture and possessions. Shame it’s been ransacked, I wish more people showed the respect like you do. Loved the still shots, you do the best 👍🏻
Hi there, just started watching your videos, what a great beautiful house, and such a shame that no one has come forward to claim the house or what's inside. Such fantastic finds inside, like those travel cases & boxes which have been around the world. I really love seeing those old black & white photos especially the Victorian ones. It always makes me sad to see places like this, all those memories just rotting away & left behind. surely there must be some relative out there to protect these things, so sad. Can't wait for the next video. Stay safe. Andy.
I've seen a few other videos of this place and it was immaculate. Seems people came in and trashed it before you got there. Such a shame. But still...an amazing house.
This took a while to locate, but better late'ish than never, I've also seen some other vids & photo reports (Tiger Manor), it's been sealed now, after the magpies pretty much looted everything, still a lovely property & garden. Thanks for viewing/comments.
I worked up the Hill in the village garage, the nephew of the owner would bring vintage cars in for mot's. This was mid 80's, sure his name was Dan? Due to the recent fire its future looks pretty bleak!
As you approached the house it looked like there was a cellar. What a fabulous house. I can imagine it in its prime. Love your videos. Thank you. Back in the 1970’s I had a friend who rented an old manor house. Should have been condemned but they rented it out cheap. The upper floors were moldy and unsafe. Beautiful house though. Had like 6 bedrooms. Huge old house. Bet it’s gone now.
If that old tv had high voltage it can be repaired, wow this was a great find mate, too bad you weren't the first one in there, but still a lot too see, stuff from the twenties upto the end of the sixties by the looks of it, saw a lot of interesting stuff while you were filming it, a antique dealer will start too drool if he sees this video. Thanks loved watching this.
What I always wonder, someone must be paying the council tax. In that one previous video you made, there was electricity IIRC, and the house was abandoned in the 90's.
This house was burnt down by vandals a while ago. There is a newspaper article about the fire online. This shocking outcome is a typical example of elderly owners not taking responsibility for their property. The old son who inherited and owned this house of his parents. Lived away from it. But not far. And he only visited it for the occasional holiday. And left it empty. He died suddenly in 2019. With no other living relatives. And the executers and Lloyds Vank were attempting to get Local council to agree to put in an access road so they could get a removal lorry in to empty the house. But obviously moron vandals burned the place down before they were able to do that and then sell the property. The lesson here is, no matter what condition your property is in, lease it and rent it. An occupied house is then safe from vandals. But no, the old retired school teacher just left it to rot. The house was Georgian and historically valuable.
Just seeing the products alone is awesome-- thanks so much for going in there and sharing
Thanks for watching!

Thanks for your comments, maybe an heir hunter will be on the case, a long lost distant relative out there somewhere? Stay safe!
It would be amazing if this house ended up on one of the "Restoration" shows. AWESOME house! And what a tribute you've done to this man's life. :-)
Thank you very much!
its been burnt down

Full bank account, maybe the bank will empty it slowly by paying any existing direct debits/standing orders.....just maybe!
