I'm glad I searched for "how to talk to a camera" ! I thought I was the only one who thought I sounded different on playback. Great info, thanks!
even 9 years later, you helped me so much! Thank you man!
Thank you so much! This was my 6th video about How to overcome your fear and you're the first one who actually explained it and gave instructions on what to do
Fabulous job Gideon, valuable as always and very much appreciated.
Loved the fact that you left the ending as it was, without editing out, the sip and twist of the tongue. It shows people like me, that being human on camera is okay. Thanks Gideon!

Gideon, Thanks for all your work and your willingness to share your experiences.
I have spoken at the highest levels for the National Assoc of Realtors and many local and state associations, too. for over 25 years.
Have my nickers in a twist about all the lighting, camera and sound issues. I will be making some throw-away videos just to get comfortable in front of the camera realizing that I do know more than 100% of my target audience.
Thanks again for your help.
thanks man.. that was a great help
Thank you so much making this video. Really great tips I look forward to trying out. Mahalo!

Gideon. This video gave me the strength that I needed to create my very first videos for my...very first blog :)
It's also more interesting because you've shown mistakes at the very end. It encourages us (newbies) to go out there and..just do it!

This was very genuine, great work
Great Video Gideon! Some of my clients in the past have had to deal with this fear of rejection and like you said it's completely silly and wrong to feel this way.
Great video bud!

You are so AWESOME!! I will practice that, thanks a lot!!! God Bless You!
Thank you that was really helpful!
I made my first vlog at the weekend and was really upset by how awkward I looked on camera. This was a really reassuring watch. Thank you!
Thank You for your insights. It's always good to see things through another persons perspective. I am grateful to be taught to re-watch what you have done as any time I've been on video (which isn't much) I fail to do it with the perspective of what can I learn from this. Now the next step for me is learning how to set up a video script in the first place :-) Thank You again
Thank u so much, really helpful!!!
This video really helped me out thanks man
Thank you man so much for this. This really helped me so much
for me its just awkward talking to the camera because i cant get a response. its like you're talking to yourself in a room, i dont talk to myself out loud so its difficult. im quite vocal on family videos and not at all nervous even though i know someone is going to watch that years later and laugh at it.
This is excellent information; I'm so glad I found this and subscribed. I am starting out with my own channel and I'm over 50, so I have had several moments that you have mentioned here. I truly thank you and will remember (and rematch) this when I feel that doubt or uncertainty again.
Thank you so much. I'm at this stage right now.
Het Gideon, This is such a cool video. Love your incite. great valuable content. Many talk about this subject on there channel but edit themselves every few sentences. I can see you do most of this in one take. Really helpful tips. Going to check out your book. Have a great day.
Helpful as always Gideon! :-)
Thank you very much for your message. It is very interesting and super helpful.
I loved that video where you set up the white board!!!
Hi Gedeon, thank you so much for sharing your information. It was very helpful and I like how you explained how our minds work when it comes to seeing ourselves on camera. That explains a lot why I can feel insecure about it. I will definitely take your tips to heart. Thank you.
THANK YOU SO MUCH! this was very helpful!!! ive tried to start a beauty channel on here and i kept thinking all of those things and got a panic attack when i tried to record
i really need to get over how different i look and sound on camera and the fear of people not finding it interesting
Thank you so much again for talking about these things!!!
Thanks for the info Gideon. All your videos are good.
Amazing video
Thanks
Cute blush at the end. Good video. Thanks.
This video has all the right tips and valid points. Joel Osteen in couple of his messages shared how he was camera shy and how he overcame his shyness by watching his videos repeatedly during the editing process, catching mistakes and improving upon his performance in future camera sessions. Gideon Shalwick in this short video gives you the right suggestions to become more confident in front of the camera. Also a tip that might help is "Think of the camera as a friend you are talking to, telling them an interesting story or event that happened. That event is your "message" and the camera recording session will become more easy to manage.
Great vid i needed to hear that man for real.
Very Well Explained and great tips,THUMBS up!
Thank you! I wanna start doing videos myself and now I really felt like I got some advice!
:D :D Really great videos and you sound so relaxed in front of the camera :D
Very good advice!
Great tips! thanks very much mate. Just starting uploading more of my own videos and I'm learning a lot from all your vids. Cheers!
This was just great Gideon. Another great tip for overcoming speaking fears is Toastmasters (public speaking forum). It really is about practicing and repeating until it becomes familiar. You are so correct to think about the people that are interested in what you're presenting.
Awesome! You rock
great video...fantastic!!
Great video Gideon! :D
