My setback

I recently had a major realization that could change the way I approach content creation.
After spending weeks defining my target audience, my wife pointed out that my niche was too circular, almost like creating content about creating content.
This made me rethink my strategy and realize the importance of having solid case studies to back my work.
It's tricky to build credibility on a concept that's self-referential.
So, I've decided to take a step back and focus on showing my actual work instead.
What do you think about the idea of sharing work as a way to connect with an audience?

With this kind of exercise, it's best to have someone (even someone who doesn't know you very well) to challenge you with questions, and dispute every single assumption without judgment. And make you defend in detail all of your thinking. You are too close and too attached to the subject, and have zero perspective - especially after years of working in the field. Clarity is what you are looking for! And not confirmation of your thinking.
