In my 21 years of military service (12B/11B) I have not met one female that I would want in a firefight. Good soldiers yes, but in a firefight no. For males I can say 1/4 I wouldn't trust in a firefight, but if they can take orders they still are of some use. You either have it or you don't. Same goes for Corrections (my civilian career)... women have a great part in the job... but fighting is usually not what they are great at. What they usually ARE good at is communicating and de-escalating. Which is a good skill to have too.

The joke went right by you like a ninja - likely since you weren't in the Army. In the Army, anything that's "cool" is referred to as High-speed. Or High-speed Low Drag if using the full nomenclature. So when you see a nice car, you can say "that's highspeed' When someone has a nice classic Colt 1911, you can say "that's high speed" When someone has a burner/cooker that weighs nothing, you say "that's high speed" Finally, in the Army (at least in the Infantry) AF planes/pilots are referred to as "fast-mover"
This was pure improv! We rarely write scripts for these sketches; usually just come up with a premise and run with it. @mochimuse might not be a vet, but she definitely nailed that improvisation comeback that fits into our military and veteran humor!
Combat soldier here, Nangarhar and Kunar provinces 2010-2011. Earlier I listed specific reasons why women should not be in combat with men, with specific real-world examples. I listed multiple examples on why it's dangerous for everyone involved and used my own experiences to make the point. My post was removed. I don't know why I didn't use profanity and was professional and respectful. Perhaps it didn't fit a narrative?
My sister was an MP, I was combat arms. She's always been an active tomboy while I was a lazy and fat nerd. Her single combat deployment in the Reserves really messed her up back, etc. while my multiple tours had no appreciable lasting effects. *I fully support females in the military...but not in combat arms. Biology doesn't care about wishful gender equality initiatives.*
Honestly just thinking about the training and bs we had to do in the infantry I don’t see how a female could actually last. We would literally go 35 or more days straight without even so much as seeing a bathroom or shower. I imagine that wouldn’t be too great for a woman’s personal hygiene.

Honestly just thinking about the training and bs we had to do in the infantry I don’t see how a female could actually last. We would literally go 35 or more days straight without even so much as seeing a bathroom or shower. I imagine that wouldn’t be too great for a woman’s personal hygiene.
@@bhammy131 we were doing a 16day ftx in east range which is close to schofield barracks. The lone female we had in our unit got out of the field at day 4 claiming an infection from not being able to shower🤬
