They should be. This whoops the taco in just about every objective measure. They just need to add sunroof, ventilated seats 60/40 rear bench and it's over. Even in this off road trim with all the goodies it still has more payload than the SR5 taco and can tow almost as much. That V6 sounds way better than the 4 banger in the taco.
Just purchased a Ranger Raptor Hot Pepper Red yesterday! coming from Ford F150's and 250's but needed to downsize. i only paid 2k over MSRP and was willing to do that. I have never had a newer midsized truck but i have to say, it is a blast to drive. so easy to park as well, i do not need a field to park it lol so far (still early to tell) i would recommend it!
I was a Toyota fan boy, but too many recalls on my 22’ Tundra has brought that to an end, not to mention the viral fail of the 24’ Tacoma on TFL. Sign me up for the new Raptor. 😊
One quick note about the bed. They designed it so that a full sheet of plywood will fit between the wheel wells, no more leaning them over the top of a well.
I kinda like these, would maybe think about getting one but it also gets the exact same gas mileage as my 2022 ram 1500 with the hemi and I have it leveled on 33’s, the interior on the ranger raptor is way better than my truck interior though that’s for sure I have the big horn, with cloth seats the small screen on the dash but at least it has the actual center console unit no bench seat and it has the 8 inch screen so I do like it but not a Laramie lol
I am just speculating, but if the law requires that you install marker lights at 80+”, then it would be illegal to have them on vehicles 80” and below (as it would defeat the purpose) which is why Ford did not include them on the ranger. Admittedly I could be wrong, but ike many, I think that the marker lights on the F150 Raptor look awesome so Ford either could not include them on the Ranger, or they made an aesthetic mistake.
You beat me to it. Marker lights are for wide over 80" vehicles. One of the big benefits for many, is the more easy to live with size of the Ranger Raptor.

Around 7.00, the onscreen 4wd control can only be used on the screen, then a few moments you showed the control to select the 4wd controls on the arm rest. Do they do the same function.
I got tired of waiting for one to show up at my Ford dealership, so I bought the Colorado ZR2 . I saved $6000 .The ZR2 was already loaded, but I added a tunnel cover, mud flaps, and side steps and saved all that money. Raptors are overpriced.
This and the Colorado/Canyon look awesome, and it is a temptation, but Ford and Chevy have cost my family so much over the years there is nothing they can do to get my business.

I'm glad that all the Rangers don't come with Sunroofs because I believe pick up trucks should never come with a sunroof ever. If you want a sunroof get a SUV I had many issues with sunroofs and they are very costly to fix if it breaks or even leaks. Which I had issuse with sunroofs in other vehicles I owned before. And if I ever get another vehicle I won't be getting a sunroof I have one in my current vehicle and the sunroof leaked with water coming in thank God the headliner was not moldy so I was able to use the same headliner but when the sunroof goes very costly to fix or replace it's not worth it in my opinion to have a sunroof.

They have been regrouping the last few years. This new ranger is second only to the Hilux worldwide. Not bad for a new design. The Aussies have done a good job with this redesign. I just wish they brought some of their ranger options here. Would love a turbo diesel and that sliding chase rack.
This has a front locker, adaptive shocks, and properly tuned coil spring suspension. Based on how the ride felt in the F150 Raptor and Silverado ZR2, I’m guessing there is a pretty big gulf between these, too. I say properly tuned because the suspension in the Toyota models sucks.
Always funny when someone thinks they have a point but doesn't have a clue on what they are talking about. Ford does not have a zr2 equivalent yet. The raptor would be closer to bison the lariat with FX4 and tow doesn't have front lockers but will have a 2.7 V6. Now if they do a tremor with V6 that gets front lockers than it would be better than zr2

Trd of for $53k is 🤡. MSRP for pro and trail hunter will be about $65k which is about raptor + $10k markup. That's how over priced Toyota has become. Their MSRP will be about the same as a raptor with huge ADM

I'd rather let them work out some of the kinks before buying one myself.

The amber lights are only used for legal reasons..not because they look cool. Ranger Raptor isnt wide enough to incorporate them.
