Wow your Corolla looks amazing! May I ask how much you've managed to increase the horsepower by with all of these mods? I have a Camry and am looking into doing some modifications, but I kind of have no clue where to start. Super glad I found your channel and keep up the awesome content!
Thank you! But with all the bolt ons and a tune, I believe I gained almost 30HP. While with the new turbo setup. I have not dynod it yet. But it should have add about 100HP. But if you wanting to start with some performance mods. Definitely say to start out with a cold air intake, or a catback exhaust!
@@Jay-ln8cn bolts ons. Pretty much means. You will unbolt the stock part. And bolt on an after market part without modifications. Because there are plenty of after market mods, just not many will bolt right onto your car.
Your videos makes me wanna start my tech reviews and unboxing channel. I just need to whip up the courage to put my face on camera. I went to toyota and they couldn't get the cruise control to work. I knew the ecu and vin number was gone be the problem. My car vin number start with 1NX. I'm sure yours is different.
The only thing I would say is just do it! I felt the same way when I started. And I pushed it off for a long time too! And dang that sucks. I was hoping you would get it working. But I did check my vin it starts with 2T1. So I’m assuming my came with everything pre wired and yours did not?
Get some projector headlights / projector foglights. I have some halos on mine and they look sick, only thing is that they come with orangeish color bulbs which i would switch out for some whiter color leds

Well the best mod to add to make the car much faster is the turbo setup. But that cost quite a bit. But I would recommend just watching some of my videos and add the mods you like to your corolla! And I don’t plan on selling my car! Plan to keep it for a long time!

So all I did when looking for a steering wheel. Was look for a higher end model of my car. So I looked for an XRS steering wheel that came with all the buttons and leather wrapped and had cruise control. And just buy the correct clock spring from the same car. And it should fit perfectly. And I just looked on eBay for a used one!
I noticed you didn’t bring up the borla exhaust kit that you bought. I remember seeing a video where you regretted installing it so did you end up getting rid of it?
I honestly totally forgot to mention it in the video. I still have the borla exhaust. It’s actually sitting in my back yard. I’m not sure if I plan to keep it or get rid of it. I just don’t have it on the car now, because of the turbo setup.

Your corolla should already have the wires for it. And you just need to get a steering steering wheel with the cruise control Stalk on it. Here is a video I did putting a steering wheel in my car. th-cam.com/video/847SLnHTmGs/w-d-xo.html
If your looking for aftermarket replacements that are fairly cheap, I would look on eBay. But if you want a factory fit, I would just order from dealer. But they will cost way more.

I have crank windows in mine too. It's actually better until you have to reach over to let the passenger window down or if you have a bottle in the door holder. My friend power window just went out on him a few days ago while it was raining.
There are some pros and cons to them. Lol But it is nice that I don’t have worry about anything breaking. Maybe the handle might brake eventually. But the only thing I don’t like about it is if you have to reach over to lower the passenger window.

Right now I have the base tune. So I’m not in a rush to get an actual dyno tune. The tranny is fine, it’s just the clutch. But yes I’m trying to source a good clutch to be able to handle the power I’m putting down!

Right now, I’m on the base tune. Which is around 8PSI. And around 225HP to the wheels. I still need to get a good dyno tune!
Did I hear right? $400USD to fit and balance the tyres? Whoa.
Well the continental that I put on were about $180 a tire. So I believe I paid about $120 to mount and balance. As well as come with a warranty.
