So after suggestions I came up with shortcut to cancel DP into 3SA on Akuma. Hopefully it will help somebody: 1. Press and hold Down. You shouldn’t release it till the end. 2. Press Forward. 3. Press again Forward, but this time along with Up and Punch. Here DP comes. 4. Again, Forward, Up and this time Kick simultaneously. Here 3SA comes. Much more easier than usual method when you face left.
Try instead: Hold Down + Forward Release and press forward then let go of down + light punch Do a quick half circle motion + kick DF > D then roll two half circle motions ending the first in punch and the second in kick should read as two half circle forward motions from a down forward position with the first being DP and then second SA3 in the input history
@@Tolux303idk if the explanations just off but this didn’t help at all. It’s also a lot of presses and holds together making almost like a tekken input that’s probably gonna do more harm than good for me personally
Yours comes out more consistently but I’m a bit confused on when to let go of the down button and when I miss it it doesn’t come out so explaining that would help a lot
I don't think you need the up at step 3. DP motion on leverless is any F,D,F so from crouching you can tab F twice which gives you D,DF,D,DF which qualifies.
Ive been playing on controller 🎮 with the left analog stick for such a long time. Maybe im just slow but you are making inputs on hitbox look super fast.
You’ll get it eventually. I bought a leverless a week after this came out. I don’t ever want to switch back lol. Give it like 2-3 months and I’m sure you’ll be way more comfortable.
also if you have gen 1 hit box thr shortcut into super does not work because you able to still jump while holding down. the dp shortcut still works tho
from my testing the general usage is still the fastest and most optimal when coming from a dp. i am interested in knowing too if he has a better option for it too.
@@southwoods4991it’s not a matter of speed for me.. 😂 My ring finger just doesn’t operate as good when I’m facing left as my index finger when I’m facing right. But with those shortcuts it’s definitely easier.
while holding down press forward twice, and on the second forward press an attack button. To link into super do the same thing then while still holding down press forward, let go of down while holding forward and press and attack button. you essentially hold down the entire time right up until the last attack button. it’s mad easy. 👍🏼

@@RamenHotep I’m not sure about this. For super you need clear D and F(so can skip DF in between), but D, DF don’t work for me.
Exactly what I was looking for. Great super shortcut. Thank you!
Also good for you for leaving the mistakes in.
It's actually useful
Thank you for these videos. Not many people are making these kinda guides and they are a massive help

Thank you so much for this video.
I think I prefer the piano method for doing dp into supers for standing combos and socd method for crouching combos.
Thanks for the guide 👏 👏 learning leverless too now
also if you have gen 1 hit box thr shortcut into super does not work because you able to still jump while holding down.
the dp shortcut still works tho
you can change the option to make it crouch instead of jumping when you turn it on by holding the 2nd bottom button when you plug in the hitbox
6:46 underrated advice 🔥
Stay on the grind
Hey! Thanks for the video. What will be the optimal shortcut to cancel DP into super?
do the normal dp (F D F) motion so half of the super gets buffered so you can just hadou motion the super
@@southwoods4991 this is not SOCD shortcut, it’s a general usage, and I asked about shortcut.

Its really hard to see how you are using this shortcut when cancelling dp into super. Could you explain?
Yeah, I recently got an app that will show my inputs on screen. I will be using it for my next video.
@@braverix0117 You rock.
What socd cleaning method?
He's using the Razer Kitsune, so it should be SOCD neutral
"And then you go like this"
W no description or visual que as to what you're actually doing. -.-
Sorry about that, I am working on making better visuals for my guides.
