Understanding the use case is so important. As a four year user of rM2, I agree it’s a simple, easy to use device. It best serves as a notebook and planner replacement with some other secondary benefits. It’s something to compliment to other tablets such as an iPad or computer. It’s a great place to start if you making the transition with from paper and getting into organization. Now if you want to customize it, there is RCU and rhacks that does allow for customization of the templates, functionality and other experiences that improves the options. Great update video.

Wow side-loading on the reMarkable 2??? I should have thought about that, thanks for bringing that to my attention. As with most all electronics, users will find a way to make things happen. Thanks for stopping by and giving me at LEAST a few days of good researching fun.

I've gone full circle from looking at the boox air 3 to the kindle scribe and the supernote ,but keep coming back to the remarkable for its writing with no distractions,if I was to get the others I can see myself not completing my writing and get bombarded with notification overload 😊

I totally understand the distractions part. That is one of the advantages of the reMarkable 2, along with ease of use and of course it's looks. Things a piece of art. Thanks for stopping by, but before I go, what pen you using for the reMarkable?

Thanks. I'm done recording the review, just in the editing process now with a few other projects. Should drop May 22nd. But I've learned so much since then that I kinda wanna redo it. Maybe I'll just append it after, lol. Thanks for stopping by!

I just got mine a week ago. I wished I had known about R2 3 years ago. Is there any way you can change to dark mode and use the white ink?

Hello, and unfortunately there isn't currently a way to do a "Dark Mode" on the reMarkable. Dark Mode in eInk is pretty cool looking though, on the devices that do that.
You're gonna love your reMarkable, though. Enjoy! Review should be dropping today... or tomorrow depending on the edit. Later ✌🏾

LOL, good try @frstriker1098. I imagine the shipping on one of these in India is insane. It is a great device, as long as you know its limitations. Thanks for stopping by.

    No light, no Remarkable.

Lol, I feel ya! It's a super valid point for a host of reasons. And I don't see this changing for the, inevitable, reMarkable 3. Luckily Onyx is holding the torch, both literally and figuratively, lol. Thanks for stopping by.
