What I’d like to know is why my Explorer didn’t register a system warning that the battery was weakening? It just suddenly died.🤷🏾‍♂️

If it's anything like mine, you will still have this issue. I guess maybe the starter is the next thing to check out. Or just trade it in....

This is happening with my wife's 2018 right now. Literally. Battery has been replaced, there was some previous issues with GPS and NAV sensors. She was stranded 2 hours away from home the last time it died. That time, it died while driving down the road at 55. Now it's this starting issue. I am having my son go help her and tap on the starter to see if that's the issue. These cars these days are so overpriced and underbuilt.

also check if the connection to the battery terminal is tight. a simple bump can disconnect the connection thereby looosing power even when driving

First time buying Ford (a 2018 Explorer and a 2018 F150) and they have been nothing but trouble. The F150 has had 4 oil pan oil leaks in 80K miles. The explorer has had many sensor issues and now is not starting with about 45K miles.
