Greg, you can simply use zip ties to the frame to hold the waste gate open if you don't have a mity vac. Any hand air pump could also be rigged up to do the same thing.
So should the middle adjuster piece be moving towards the ball joint side (passenger side) or the drivers side? I moved it over 2 full turns toward ball joint side and can't get boost over 16.5. Seems like it runs well at lower speeds but has no power at WOT.
I had to order the wastegate pump...on my 2017 u could NOT get to that inner nut. I got the hose off but it appears that someone messed w this prior and right before the bend it seems a little mushed. Will this be ok?
@@aftermarketassassins5491 ok I got the pump...both nuts free...and now thr 18mm middle section I can't move either way. When I loosened the outer nut I swore I got at least a turn and a half on the 18mm...but I still only have 14.2lbs of boost. I'm paralized from the waist down so I am doing it all from the passenger side and really can't see. Idk what to do now. I have no leaks or anything and cant get the boost over 14lbs or so. All 3 you want to turn up. In the video he says use an 18mm wrench but the directions say a 17mm. I can NOT get to my inside 13mm nut. I'm kinda at a stand still with it.
1127 is actually a boost condition. It may be under boost. However if your waste gate rod was sticking, that could have been your reason. If it was an under boost condition, this adjustment might help. -Mike

I have your stage 3 tune and exhaust.. have not loaded up the tune yet. Stage 3 will be used for the dunes, but we also do a lot of trail riding and wanted to get stage 2 for it. Will i have to adjust it everytime i change tunes?
You will need a tune to do this, unless you suspect your waste gate spring is very weak. You can check pop off pressure with the mity vac and it should be around 5-6psi factory
Somehow we missed this comment, but you do need a tune to adjust the WG or you run the risk of overboost, and your RZR could be slower because the WG is not properly set.
Or just cap off the vacuum hose by putting a bolt in the factory vacuum hose . Then by doing this the wast gate will not open .full boost at all times . much easier
This would cause an overboost condition on an XP Turbo and it's never a good idea to block the waste gate as you will see turbo surge among other things.
I have not modified anything and I get the code of overboost, my dynamix 2018 is stock. The actuator responds with air pressure and has no leaks, I do not know what else to check
@@JesusGlzR1 its the factory blow off valve sticking, its an inherent design. after my experience, a new blow off valve that has a spring. which installed the correct way would eliminate the overboost code with it dumping boost psi while in vacume
How do you move wastegate to full open position to get to the adjustment nuts if you don't have a mighty vac?

Aftermarket Assassins do you turn toward the ball joint side to the left or turn it toward the waste right side ?
What’s the actual crack pressure you need to see on the mighty vac when using your stage 3 tube??
6.5-7 PSI is what we are looking for on stage 3 or higher
i have a stage 2-3 tune on my stock rzr turbo, would i need to make this adjustment?

I have the stage 3 entire kit coming. Can you adjust the wastegate without the mighty vac? I definately do no have access to one of those.

So the jam nuts loosen by turning upwards is that the same direction to turn the adjuster to shorten it?

What about the 2018s?
I had a 1127 code come up with my tune, wiggled it back n fourth and it went away. Would this help it? 1127 is over boost code

When adjusting the rod is the rod supported to tune inside the waistgate or just the coupler nut tune?
If that happens just bottom the waste gate rod out. It will stop turning when it's nearly bottomed on the heim joint side. That will be perfect.

You will not need to change the WG back when going to level 2. It can remain tightened without any issue.

So on my 19 I could only get about 3/4 turn before stopping. I can lengthen it alot but not shorten much. Normal?
