I bought Fuji 23 1.4, 56 1.2 and other Fuji lenses. Then I added a couple of cheap TTartisan lenses for a vintage, less clinical look. These seemed to be right in between the two sets, and F1.2 is a welcome feature. I might get the 23 F1.2 to test it out.

Une question : je constate que tu utilise moins ton moyen format au profit de l' APS-C de chez fuji. Une raison particulière à ça ?
Oui même très "agressive"... J'utilise toujours mon GFX, mais uniquement sur de gros projets. Lorsque je voyage ou réalise des photos pour le web, le XH2s me suffit largement.
Very curious: could you comment on how the Snipers compare to the Sigma Contemporary lenses? Obviously the Snipers have an extra stop and slightly different focal lengths; but given the choice, which would you pick?
Sigma: sharper glass, very low chromatic aberration and fringing, similar price point with the 16,30 and 56mm. I have both 16 and 56mm. I also tried Viltrox and Sigma still wins. I can even say they’re slightly better than Sony glass and Fuji glass.

1st time viewer .. your b-roll looks like it was coming from an older 360 camera, perhaps an insta 360 one x? At this point it might be best to wait for the Insta 360 one rs 1" edition with 10bit (if that ever comes out).
Nice review :) Couple of questions: - do you think the color aberration might be solved with firmware updates? - isn't the background in your portraits a bit too much in focus? If you actually shot at 1.2 I would expect a super washed out bokeh, am I right?
For the "Bokeh" question, it all depends on the distance between your model and the background. The CA and fringing unfortunately won't be solved with FW updates.

Eh, I prefer this over sigma. More character. Sigmas also have a ton of aberration besides the 56mm and it looks even worse on those lenses because they are clinical in every way except that chromatic aberration. With these lenses, there is character throughout that blends with the aberration

They proclame "We are the brand of choice for high-end photographers, they use our gear because it's the best ! And we are too. ". Sure, they are the brand of choice... for photographers who either are sponsored or get paid 5000 for a 2-hour workshop or a front-page publishing. But for other photographers, the remaining 99,99%, Canon is just the brand to run away from. Unless you want to go bankrupt before you even release the shutter once !
Why I left Canon a few years ago after using their bodies for 20+ years. I couldn't support them going into mirrorless when they decided to shaft their customers.
The look of the lenses are beautiful but the results of those lenses is just a no. Their price point should be near the TTartisans. Sigmas 16,30, and 56 are beyond superior; way less to zero fringing, overall sharper glass and at a similar price range. Sigma all the way.
Owned the sigma trio, from my experience, Each sigma except the 56 have just as much aberration as these, if not more. Except the sirui 33mm, that may have the most out of all 6 lenses lol. The CA on the sigmas look far worse in my opinion because they are designed to be clinical lenses with no character at all, but have all of that fringing, making it even more noticeable… whereas the sirui set is full of character overall, making their CA more acceptable

If you are looking for contemporary, clean, sharp lenses, then Sigma is a better choice.

камера insta 360, скорее всего стоит на штативе. А на монтаже там уже можно гнуть перспективу, приближать-отдалять и крутить во все стороны

Aberration will never be fixed in software, it’s due to coatings on the glass itself

They are not for everyone... you really have to get your hands on them before you buy them.
Incredibly muddy, soft and the chromatic aberration is insane, just go for the sigma's. Shame, I was hoping that they'd be good
