I bought a 1TB microsd card specifically for this image and it doesn’t work. I used the win32 disk imager to make it, put it in the rasp pi 4, and I get various gobs of Linux streaming info but it eventually just sits there and never seems to do anything. And every time I restart (just unplug and plug back in), it seems to fail in a different spot. Why is retro gaming such a pain in the butt? Oh, and why can’t any images I actually get to work (so far Bacotera is the ONLY one) ever work with the Atari fight stick?
I have no sound after system upgrade and I can't connect my Xbox Series controller via Bluetooth. System detects it but Bluetooth settings utility freezes when I try to connect with the controller.
Check in the audio settings to see if anything has changed there or if something is muted. You can also check in the raspberry pi settings on the audio mixer etc. I don't use Bluetooth as I have nothing but trouble with them :) But if I remember right there is an option further down on the Bluetooth settings to delete all the profiles. Try deleting them first and then correctly reboot the device (Shutdown menu > Reboot) and then try connecting via Bluetooth again.
Hi your build looks great! I’m in talks to get a arcade cabinet built. Think I might go with your game pack build. Could I get permission to download?Are there any issues I should be aware of?
It is not our build, we only review it. You do not need any permission to download but you need to find the downloads yourself as we do not link to them. The issues are mentioned in the video.
Just a question (mainly for the pi boy) could you add something like pokemmo (not an emulator just a java game for linux) onto retropie so I could boot it and use the dpad to open it easily? I'm still waiting for my pi and not sure if I should get the pi boy
I have not tried it myself but it should be possible to add a shortcut to any software. There's probably further details on their Docs at retropie.org.uk/docs/. Hope that helps.
well I personally downloaded it and I used wind32diskimager to write the image and a seagate 1tb hdd and it runs flawlessly on my raspberry pi400 so it to answer your Question m8 I think it is worthwhile to download it hope this helps cheers

You may need to wait after the intro animation as well. As with all retropie images, the first time it boots it needs to resize the SD Card/HDD/SSD which can take some time, and then potentially set up other things. Try reinstalling the image with Etcher and then when booting up, just leave it for a hour. If it does not work then maybe it is the SSD you are using. For my setup it took maybe 5-10 mins as I am running off a SSD, but I have read other people it takes longer.

I don't think there are any options to control the music on RetroPie. If there is a song you did not like, then deleting the file for it is probably the best option.

I used to play with batocera on sd card and there was documentation available but with the venom I cant find anything like that.
You may need to redefine your controller for the HOTKEY function. retropie.org.uk/docs/_Sidebar/ is the Retropie WiKi theres a guide on there how to redefine the controller. It also has a list of the hotkey button combinations for exit emulator, RetroArch menu etc.
@@makarit9613 Do any other combinations work like SELECT+X, Y etc? If you have a keyboard connected, try disconnecting it and reboot as sometimes the keyboard takes the first input device and hotkeys will only work on the first device.

Having a lot of games just boot out Seems like a lot have just been tossed on without testing or setting up Oddly it’s a 1T build at 700 G which could use a lot more games A hassle to put to SSD others are much easier
I am not sure to be honest. I think I saw on Final Burn an option in the HOTKEY menu to enable/disable scores. Have a look on there. As a note the settings may be per game. For MAME if it is used then you may need to set up highscore.dat files. Check on RetroPie wiki for info if its there.
I can't guarantee any hardware will work with the Pi. Make sure the USB is plugged into the blue USB 3.0 port. Then you just need to leave it running for a while to resize the partition. This can take a long time if it is a HDD as well as if it is large size. You may need to wait longer, I would leave it running for a hour to be sure.
Little more help please. I want to add more roms to collections of 3do and sega cd. I tried just dragging them over in ubuntu. But when i do it doesnt boot in pi again ? Any ideas how to add roms.

You may need to wait after the intro animation as well. As with all retropie images, the first time it boots it needs to resize the SD Card/HDD/SSD which can take some time, and then potentially set up other things. Try reinstalling the image with Etcher and then when booting up, just leave it for a hour. If it does not work then maybe it is the SSD you are using. For my setup it took maybe 5-10 mins as I am running off a SSD, but I have read other people it takes longer.

The Pi 4 supports the SDXC standard which is 2TB. The current largest Micro SD Card is 1TB though.

I don't think there are any options to control the music on RetroPie. If there is a song you did not like, then deleting the file for it is probably the best option.

Does it automatically boot from the ssd once you have the image on the ssd?
Yeah by default it will boot to SSD. No need to change anything beforehand.

You Image its Down i can no loading
It is not my image, I only make videos about them. Try getting in contact with wherever you are downloading it from and they may be able to fix it.
