With shooting apps like filmic pro and the moment camera app you can get far superior results compared to the stock camera app. Editing apps like lumafusion also offer a ton of possibilites, considering you are editing on a smartphone.

I used power director. But I always noticed an issue when working with transitions. At some point the ending clip would freeze and the new clip would come in Frozen then play.
The layout now is not user friendly creating a very long workflow.
