Engines just about fully dismantled, i have another donor engine so i can use the engine casings from that engine, thanks for watching

Well done on creating videos on this, it can't be easy and time consuming, but you've done a nice job. Just amazes me how easily your bolts undo...where it feels like on mine I needed a sledge hammer 🤣.

​@@Tattytyres The early R1200 engine casing looks very similar to the R1100/R1150, as far as i can see, but the gearbox mating surface looks different.

@@cozydram1 hi. First engine was ebay, and second engine was market place, you see them advertised every so often, are you having problems with your engine

@@Tattytyres hi chap ..thank you for replying.......I'm not presently having problems but would love to have a back up and another to strip and learn dis/re assembly of said engine....I have a R1200GSA 2015 and she's pouring nicely so far but wish to know how too do all that you have done to yours ....no I'm not a mechanic.....I am presently restoring a R60/6 1974 and have learn't a lot about this engine and look forward with in trepidation to move on to a 1200 engine.....I have no wishes for a 1250+ engine I totally love this bike.......anywhoo thanks

Hi, yeah this is the roller ball bearing for the rear balancer shaft, its hard to see from video, but i think its the bearing cage that looks dull, do you need any info on the bearing thanks
