I really will be working hard to improve it but let me explain why some of the stuff is the way it is....I will show you all of my crazy hacks and diy mods I did to bring this all together plus show you the star of the show that made the puzzle all fit together at last!!

First, I admire and respect the heart felt message at the end. You have an awesome setup and I would be proud of it if it were mine. I’ve used duck tape on a monitor mount and microphone mount for setups in the past just to share and make you feel better perhaps. We have done a number of podcasts together and so I appreciate you giving a tour of your setup in this video. I enjoyed every minute of it - great footage. Standing desks are awesome and a blessing to have indeed. Thanks so much for creating this video for us!

lol heck yeah !! What cpu /gpu have you picked out and what ram ? This board runs every ram kit really well I’ve tested. I validated 7200 cl34 but I daily drive 6400cl32. Runs xmp with ease. No errors on memtest
CPU will be the 13700k because I need to be able to have a solid CPU but dont want to spend loads on that.
GPU will most likely be a 4060 or 4060 ti depending on what I decide to upgrade to later. Both these will be a huge jump from a 7700k and a GTX1650.
Then for the RAM I'm looking at corsair vengence 32GB 5000MHz or Crucial pro 32GB 6000MH
Now I'm just looking for a good 2x fan water cooler for the CPU becuase I have a hunch the 13700k runs HOT.
@a.b3428 definitely go with at least 6000cl30 ram. Both ram and timings matter a good bit. The 6000 cl30 is the sweet spot for value and performance. Don’t get anything higher than cl30 like cl32 or cl34 because the higher the cl speed the more the latency. The cl lower = better. the frequency 6000 is perfect for intel and being a very reliable system.
Gpu wise I would aim for a 4070 if you can or hold out for a deal. The 4060 ti and 4060 is pretty underwhelming for the price but they aren’t bad at the right price.
The CPUs if you keep an eye on microcenter or Amazon or Best Buy you should be able to find a 14700k for a deal about same price as 13700k.
There’s a lot of deals popping up lately so keep ur eyes peeled.

Did you just change the layout of the desktop and taskbar on the Ally that's screen on and to the monitor in the video, or did you get AtlasOS 0.4 set up on that one? I know that the desktop looks like that blue windows start button, so that caught my eye.
Your setup is very similar to mine, but I'd say mine is more stacked where it's in my workshop with multiple things I do focus feedback testing on, not to mention having an enviro chamber to test wear of things on the other side of the room. I hope that if you did do or are planning to still check out AtlasOS 0.4 that you will have a video about it.
Currently for the Ally, AtlasOS + Lossless Scaling + Handheld Companion running at 4 or 6 cores and from 3W to 7W for Low Power Extended Battery, 11W to 15W for Quiet, 19W to 22W for performance instead of 25W, and 26W for highest I'm getting crazy performance on SF6 1080p is running at 11W on medium high settings with Lossless Scaling 2.1 setting. I keep the fans minimum to 55%. I run at 6GB VRAM, and it's at least 10% more performance avg than I got on Windows 11 standard, and my avg use resources running went from 244 on Windows 11 down to 61 on AtlasOS 0.4(including Armory Crate SE 1.5 beta that I pulled of the Ally X I was testing.
Also I've been testing an $80 28W to 48W external 120mm fan cooled TEC for mobile devices on the Ally. I even modified my cases to fit around the giant transfer plate I added to the outside over the modified HhDIY backpllate's metal panel. Would love your input on best way to optimize use for heatsinks, thermal pad for the Handheld DIY backplate for Ally(really hoping they make 1 for the Ally X as well atfer their current campaign with Steam Deck OLED. It rreally could use it, so I don't have to butcher the 1 back shell I have.
I like the style of your content, that you keep it classy and don't curse, so in that I feel there's a kindred of similarity to myself. Already 11 seconds in and I feel shamed by this clean cable management. Fingers crossed that there's something about that in there cause mine is in dire need of a redesign!
My cable management is so bad under my desk it made me super sad about it and I’m gunna be buying some cable baskets that mount under the desk to hide them.

Yo bro. Ive owned my legion go for only 24 hrs. I installed the updates from legion space and now i have the blue acreen of death. Any ideas? It popped up saying system excepetion error. Now its saying some bullshit about windows cant reinstall
Wow that’s unfortunate. Did any updates get installed with the device unplugged ? Maybe it went dead or went to sleep to conserve power while installing an update ? I would try posting pics in discord or on Reddit of what you’re seeing. You will likely have to do a windows restore. Sorry you’re having that experience. Your the first person I’ve seen have this issue with a LEGO but I can tell it’s likely due to windows itself not installing a windows update correctly. Did you update the bios and everything in legion space app also ?
