Actually I just sent Haar in to bring the Commander on which i forgot his name to be in line of fire of Calili's Meteors and won the map that way. Fun defense map, sucks I made it go by so fast.
I actually had Elincia as a dedicated physic healer with leanne dancing her, then I realized she did 40 damage to boss, and just annihilated him with her.
Ok I have to. No I actually dont but this comment made me think it.

Miciaciah, jill sothe edward, volug and nolan and naliah are the only characters i like using.
Tarenebro is great but his avability is annoying... also when one of the four riders get turned into a supply runner
I wanted to like them. Having now finished part 1. I do not like them. Except Sothe he's still my favorite.
Radiant Dawn was my first game, so unfortunately I'm very much biased towards the Dawn Brigade

Sothe's caps in Dawn are literally the only reason he is mediocre late game. Solid bases even without transfers, and great growths. But no, he has to cap Str at 28 as a Whisper, and get Bane as a master skill. Well played IS, well played.
At least his ultimate weapon is obtainable in one of the desert maps, because of course it is.

Oh yeah those...yeah you gotta converse in battle...and it's all one directional so the second unit can respond like a robot. And everyone can only support with one at a time so you have to break your current support if you want to see a conversation with someone else. LOL They thought this one out so NOT well at all.
While this game still have to most interesting and in-dept character of every FE game

Fucken ay. With the amount of conversations between Ike and Ranulf that have convinced me that they are totes gay for each other, fuck knows why we couldn't have support conversations to seal that deal.
I honestly didn't miss support convos. Feels like a chore a lot of the time. Glad they gave the character moments as part of the story.
I love how as soon as Fiona joins, every Dawn Brigade chapter is basically bad for cavaliers.
Doesnt help that Fiona's stats were left on level 1 of a normal cavalier by oversight.
@@torashiki5646 When I first got her and saw that her stats were worse then the generics that she was along side I knew that she would be depressingly terrible.
@@Atom523 Ironically astrid and fiona are the best late game cavaliers while simultaneously being in the worst 4 units in the entire game.
@@666Kaca I have always wanted to level up Fiona, she just makes it so hard as she misses so much and when she hits it is like a wet noodle. I cannot see her being able to get far unless you somehow manage to milk a low armor boss and feed her every single stat improving item in the game :-P
@@Atom523 Fun fact: Even the very first boss in the entire game has much better stats than Fiona's base stats and he is only two levels lower than her.
It always irks me a little bit that most people don’t realize that the “No, it’s just a bird” line is said by the soldier sarcastically, as to not to alert Micaiah that spthey are onto her - as both indicated by the complicit nod fom the soldier speaking the line and the soldier that catches her afterwards explocitly saying that they realized it was her.

When I saw the soldier suddenly appear when I played I realised this and was like
"THESE GUY ARE GENIUSES!"
The fact that it tricked people meant they guys played it well
I always figured people got that the soldier was being sarcastic and that we where laughing at the bad VA in that line and well just the memeability of it
Yeah on my 1st playthrough i noticed that and was like "well shit".
But then I heard the soldier literally go HA HA HA and rolled out of my bed laughing. That was such bad voice acting for an otherwise decently voiced scene

@@arcanus5120 I once raised a very overpowered Edward, who I used to defeat Ike in that one defense chapter, and He capped out every single stat before reaching max level. And I didn't give him any stat boosters.
@@Nikita_Akashya, that's regular for Edward, unsurprisingly. Out of everyone in the entirety of the Dawn Brigade, raising Edward was the easiest and, as it turns out, the most OP option out of everyone in the DB.

Legit I didn’t even know he warped around until I watched Mang’s play through. I just wanted to end the map quickly after 5(sorta 6) route maps.
getting close to Izuka he decides to warp staff, RIGHT NEXT TO SHINON. (like within range no shove, no song, nothing)

My Izuka warped right next to Zihark who was killing some fodder in a corner of the map. AND he had a boss convo! That was neat but I was seething at first since Tibarn and Ulki had been about to slaughter Izuka

Man, the Tellius are really great games, even though Radiant Dawn felt like wasted potential at times. Seeing Ike goes from small guy to surpassing the man he aspired to was such a great time !

Dawn brigade has good units. Nolan is better than boyd, zihark is on par with mia, volug is a beast(no pun intended), jill is probably the best character in the game considering her contributions. Hell, even laura is usable, shes the only dawn brigade member that can 1turn 3-13 if she is promoted and has adept and a purge tome. And lets not forget sothe.

I've always thought that, if they ever decide to revisit Tellius, it would be pretty amazing to have a Zelgius prequel. See his childhood as a Branded, being taken in by Lehran, trained by Greil, joining the Daein army as the Black Knight and leading a double life a Begnion general. He has so much lore and there are so many interesting characters he interacts with. We also wouldn't have to worry about him being a wishy washy little brat like more recent lords :D

@@torashiki5646 except Nolan gets doubled by everything and has terrible res, not to mention terrible accuracy due to axe lock; Edward is just downgraded Zihark but definitely not an est (cough lene cough) with enough bexp they're probably the most serviceable members of the actual Dawn Brigade but that investment is probably better made in Jill

Oh man, this is now my second-favorite Fire Emblem after Three Houses stole its thunder.

I’ve long been of the mind that Three Houses was the best Fire Emblem since Radiant Dawn. Tellius (or Ike Saga as I like to call it) was definitely a high point for the series in a lot of ways.

Radiant dawn is my favorite in the series, probably because that was what introduced me to the series but it will always have a place in my heart

This is my absolute favorite Fire Emblem game. I could relate to basically everything - Especially bringing all the Laguz kings into the final chapter.

this was my first fire emblem and I loved everything about it so much, what a huge game.
Radiant Dawn is my second favorite fire emblem game. This is actually all very true saddly. Especially the part 3 "No why am i back with the dawn brigade i was having fun." And I LIKE most of them.

Even though Radiant Dawn is my legit favorite game in the franchise, I can see all of the points he his making. That being said, I love the Dawn Brigade to death, even more than the Greil Mercenaries. I really want a PoR-RD remake that puts both into a single game and fixes RDs many issues.

this was my 1st Fire Emblem. Stumbled across it when I worked at Blockbuster. I sincerely hope it and PoR get remade. Easily one of my favorite games and/or series. No other FE title has grabbed my interest yet. Didn't care for Three Houses at all

That one map with 90 units in was always the map to make me get up and go get food, take a nap, walk my dog, go through college and get a degree before it was done moving all the units.

Icelerate pretty much just Zelgius being the Black Knight. Heroes should’ve just given him his begnion armor
I still like this game and Path of Radiance despite their age. They still hold up and Micaiah is one of my favorite units in this game and Heroes. She's a glass cannon, but enemies hit like trucks anyway and she can still just nuke them.
Nolan with Beastfoe and a Crossbow on 3-6 so you don't go insane

@@ebicbarton Cap they start off average/garbage which makes sense canonically but can become some of the best units in the game or in their class trained. Edward, Leonardo, and Nolan get access to prfs and special skills (Nihil which is one of the best skills in the game, Wrath, and Cancel).
Shinon's one of the best units in the game and significantly easier to train but Rolf has godlike growths and Leonardo has cancel and Lughnasadh but very lopsided growths for example so that players have a lot of alternatives and can get much more satisfaction from training units other than them all being laguz royal broken from the start. Shinon's special skill is provoke in comparison to Leonardo who has cancel which can work much better in combination with other skills where provoke hurts Shinon more than it helps him and only really has uses for bait strats instead of combat utility

@@ebicbarton Meg isn't really Dawn Brigade. She's an ally similar to Ilyana and Volug, or Tormod's and Nailah's group with Daein liberation army. She's mainly there as a gag where her motives are to find Zihark. Also Meg's abysmal at first but can legit be amazing trained and has very nice speed. RD Luna is no joke it literally negates/cancels defense 😂

This game my first playthrough was HELL you gotta love the west translation from Normal,Hard,Lunatic to easy,normal,hard and like everyone else i played on west normal knowing absolutely nothing i was just a boy happy to have a new game to play my dad bought thinking it was pokemon.
God I fuckin love Tellius. So many great characters. Jill's the best ofc.

I will always remember My first playthrough of radiant, in which i barely survive with the dawn brigade somehow made micaiah Edward and nolan useful at the end of part 1 ....and the raw horror i felt when suddenly i got throw in part 3 like : "Ayo you going against Laguz and The Current Greil mercenary who some of which you just got promoted at 3rd tier..." so no Illana, no tauroneo, no tormod for the Next century, Jill is the only useful one since now the rest can barely double any one......yeah that part was rough as fuck....i kinda love it for it XD
I absolutely loved the game... it was my second fire emblem ever. I regret not paying too much attention to some of the figured... cuz I can’t play the game anymore :(

I'm waiting for you to do a pitfall scene where you say the line (like "Haar is a bad unit" or something) and someone just throws a rock at you with a piece of paper attached that says "PITFALL".
I like how he didn’t even mention Edward, lol. Also, Micaiah is THE definition of “Glass Cannon”. That said, put time into her, keep her Thani for emergencies, and get a Nosferatu blessed for her to use and watch her clear, like, 30-50% of the endgame maps for you while healing herself. Idk how that strat works on Hard Mode, but it’s failed me so few times on Normal that I can probably count them on one hand. She’s usually fairly decent at dodging the elemental non-boss enemies, or suffering little damage from them.
Not gonna lie, at first I thought this was a RD(my favorite FE game) hate video and I was ready to write the angry comment but then i realized you were just memeing on the common gripes and flaws of the game so then I enjoyed the vid and laughed. Great work!
I remember I actually bought Radiant Dawn when it was new, the only FE game I had played before was FE7 via emulator. I never realized how few people actually played the game, I just happened upon it in a game stop and though "Ooh, game series I know! Must buy!"
It was fun, I enjoyed breaking the universe with Haar's imbalanced stats lol
