"Why would you seek me out?" LOL I love that line from Ike! It's been nearly a decade since I killed Ike with Saint Laura (no cheating, just grinding with healing staves against Laguz) Ripped him apart with Laura! XD
I mean from what I remember the reason I DIDN'T kill Ike is because that would end the chapter immediately, killing the entire point of the entire video. So... I don't know what you're trying to prove.
Yes. I already knew what he said when I responded to him. For one thing, I've had people already accuse me of cheating on Fire Emblem: Awakening. And there's not even any ways of memory hacking on a 3DS right now.
Waaaaagh! I'm envious...! I'm playing my third playthrough of the game with the aim to get Edward and Leonardo to Endgame, but they were only level 15-17 second tier in this map. Kudos to you and your amazing Edward.
HHhhmm, when I played this level, I had two battleworthy units (Zihark and Nolan), on hard mode, I must have restarted 40 times, at least. Pretty much I blocked the two entry points without ledges and placed useless units on the other ledges in order to hold my ballistae positions to take out the fliers, it took me the first 20 tries to develope that strategy. Would you say that this is the most valid strategy, cause when i play through again, I'd like to not waste so much time. And judging by your apparent extreme experience on such matters, how would you deal with the mercenaries with my limited resources?
This is extremely late but I finally used the sleep staff on Ike and killed him with every one’s favorite character Edward and yes I got it on a wrath crit and brave sword on hard mode without save states on actual control
No. His sword was Alondite, its sister sword. The Black Knight did carry Ragnell for a brief period of time as he intended for Greil to use it in their duel. He offers it to Greil (but Greil can't hold a sword anymore if you remember, he cut his tendons because of what he did), but Greil takes up his axe Urvan instead.
@VGMaster17 Oh, and you can just do the thing where you battle save right before Fiona levels up. If she gets a crappy stat raise, then reset until she gets good growths.
Oh dear. This IS on Hard mode. Should've figured that one out from lack of Battle saves, but only realised it when I saw the save was red-colored... very impressive indeed! And curse the lack of enemy range indicator >=( Great video!
ok, the black knight reveal could have been more exciting, but all the other revelations blew my mind. like sephiran being lehran, soren being the son of ashnard and so on.
Geez you're good! I can't even do this on normal mode let alone hard. You even got Fiona to third tier. With all those close calls (Zihark in particular) you must've been on edge like crazy. Sounds real tedious. Sorry for the rambling but this was just really impressive. You did a great job!
@Redfarl21 He moves on the last turn or 2. Really hard to get him in range of the tome if he goes for your units that went close to kill the other GM members.

Train the Dawn Brigade? I just B EXP them to their tier 3 classes in one go from the very moment I got to play with them again (most of them were already promoted to tier 2 by the end of part 1) so they were pretty much over leveled in that chapter... with the exception of Sothe and Micahia whose promotions were still locked at the time.
@ManectricZap77 It's under options, the "unit circle" that you have on untis and enemy units have to signify that they are still able to move, like the same if they're colored and when they're grey. It's just a little graphical feature. Or are you talking about the "Target" command from Micaiah?

You use both the dawn brigade members and the Griel mercenaries. On this chapter, you get to either defend the line for 12 turns, or defeat Ike to complete the chapter.
@Felover3 If you looked at their inventory (via the save file), they have the best weapons they could have... As for Boyd, if he didn't have ranged weapon, I could have just used Eddie... And you can't really say it would have made a difference for the group on the left... Shinon got owned by Meg's Luna before he could even counter (and he wouldn't have countered if he didn't have a crossbow type weapon)
Jaekization He takes up too much exp points. Without exp abuse, Zihark is way better. He just needs an A support with another earth unit to be practically invincible. Edward is one of the most overrated characters in the series. A fragile melee is the last thing the Dawn Brigade needs on hard mode.
Rookie Edward is no where near overrated. The overrated characters come from the Greil Mercs. Fact remains that even though Zihark comes at a higher level, it doesn't make him a better character. He is the 3rd best out of all 4. He really isn't that good. Now, don't get me wrong, I love Zihark, but he doesn't own up to what he should most of the time.
Jaekization Zihark will have +22 avoid on Edward without the need of babying no matter the growths. Zihark looses an irrelevant amount of stats by 20/20/20 compared to Edward on average. Edward only beats Zihark by 2 hp, 1 str and 2 def by 20/20/20. Zihark actually beats Edward in res by 7. All the rounding I've done is in favor of Edward so I show no bias. 22 avoid and the crap ton of exp points are way better than 2 hp, 1 str, and 2 def. Also as shadowofchaos said, adept>wrath. Therefore Zihark>Edward.
Wow, talk about pedantic. Ever heard of doing something just for fun regardless of any amount of difficulty required? Just because it's pointless and easy doesn't mean it can't be fun for other people to watch.
I like how when Ike is defeated by the Dawn Brigade, his reaction is basically

@Felover3 If you looked at their inventory (via the save file), they have the best weapons they could have... As for Boyd, if he didn't have ranged weapon, I could have just used Eddie...
And you can't really say it would have made a difference for the group on the left... Shinon got owned by Meg's Luna before he could even counter (and he wouldn't have countered if he didn't have a crossbow type weapon)
Ok I went back and tried that and you are right about Meg becoming a beast, but that still leaves Fiona who still sucks.
I made Zihark 1v1 Ike with no exp abuse. He is a god with an A support with Nolan/Volug
Edward is a better option to use. Better attack/defense growths. He's actually the best Swordsman in the game. (Trublade/Swordmaster)
Jaekization
He takes up too much exp points.
Jaekization Innate Adept and Earth Support would like a word with you. Edward's innate Wrath doesn't do crap most of the time.
Jaekization
Zihark will have +22 avoid on Edward without the need of babying no matter the growths.
How the hell did you get them all so high a level?! I can never get them that strong by this part!
Description
You got to focus on it. I was able to do it all you need is knowledge this is coming and grind like crazy.
Wow, talk about pedantic. Ever heard of doing something just for fun regardless of any amount of difficulty required? Just because it's pointless and easy doesn't mean it can't be fun for other people to watch.
