I once had one all "queue time is 35 minutes" and I was hit by a major blast of the runs. About a minute later was I was blasting off the queue popped and I knew I wasn't going to make it back to my PC in time so I just sat there listening to it tick away. When I was finally done and I sat back down to reenter the queue... it actually took 35 minutes. I swear it's like the game has some kind of built in sensor for butts to toilet seats.

When que finally popped it took 3 hours of waiting. I was determined that day. I said "never again". And that's how I became a white mage xD other day I was waiting 78 mins for a dps que (I got screenshot to prove it). The worst part? I had 5 duties selected. It was for womderous tales. @@iliketrains263 PSA: you can do most (if not all) of the ARR extreme trials solo with a level 80 class and very little effort. I do it every week with dancer and then just turn the journal in with a class that actually needs the XP.
@@skeletonwar4445 true but ez 20k xp is still only 20k xp. I get 20k from literally 2 enemies in a big trash mob in level shb content. Just because it's fast doesn't mean it's efficient or enough. Also it's a trial not a dungeon. We already have a trial roulette. And considering the vast majority of sprouts can't listen worth a damn it's more like 20 minutes because they can't figure the nail phase out

I ran into that problem myself a couple weeks ago. Mentioned the long queue time in my FC chat and was told nobody ever queues for Binding Coil. One of my FC members was nice enough to run me through the whole thing.
Have a couple of max level players run you through them, or find some likeminded people on the ffxiv discord for your data center if you want to run it synched!
I made the mistake of leveling WHM to the 70's using just Main Scenario while leveling RDM, SAM, NIN, and GNB the normal way, and so when I tried using WHM in leveling, I kept getting kicked because I was so bad as a healer.
@@omegagilgamesh If people kick you, there might be a much larger problem than you just not being as good a healer. People might just be impatient and not willing to give a learning healer a try. If they constantly kick you, you never get the chance to improve, it’s awful.

Queue tip: install remote control app on your phone, when you hear SHING just get your phone, connect, click commence ON YOUR PHONE, then easily end your pee/poo/drink. For bonus point type THROUGH YOUR PHONE "give me a sec" in in-game chat

How to make DPS queue faster:
- Switch to one of your crafting jobs
- Press one of your 2-part crafting macros
For me > Always teleport somewhere, get stuck in middle when queue pops up.

If you want to make sure your DF pops, start to craft something really expensive. Works like a charm.
It never fails. Every time I want to use the bathroom, my que pops. Right when I reach the door.
I essentially cancel my ques when I go to the bathroom, too many 30 minute penalties for going to the bathroom in another part of the house.
I can run and piss under a minute. Yet I've missed many queues during that tiny window that I'm not at the PC.

Play a healer , press the button get annoyed that the queue was so fast you could not even get into the mind state of doing it.

Normal raid DPS queues are usually pretty fast in the afternoon or evening! Or at least, they are on Primal.
I always cancel my queues when I have to go get something. Unless it'd only take like 30 seconds, it would definitely pop up to spite me.
