Tech tip: A “virtual machine” is software that acts like an entirely separate computer. Scambaiters mainly use virtual machines because they protect their real computer from viruses, and they’re easy to reset back to initial settings. Smart scammers sometimes look for clues that a computer is a virtual machine (which is a tipoff that they could be dealing with a scambaiter), but Kitboga has spent a lot of time setting up his virtual machines to hide those clues, which are things like technical names of hard drives etc.

The weird optic ball desktop warp thing. That was always my favourite.
I used to think that thing was so cool when i was a kid and would let my computer go into screensaver just to watch it for a bit. Lol
Believe it or not, I felt nostalgic for slowing the mouse all the way down XD I remember learning that in junior high computer class. I guess millennials are pretty old now.
Flying toasters ftw.
12:48 - He just gave up - "Computer has been already hacked by someone".. So nothing for me to do here :)
“I’m not talking to a criminal “ you are, in fact.
that's the joke
@Quadir Lovell hmmmmm
"You've been hacked."
Technically not that wrong...
Lol true.
@@eggstopper5 sry i didn't understand can u explain me pls
@@arushdeep5521 Well, the scammer hacked onto the computer so yeah. He is the one hacking the computer. I hope you understand and have a great day!
The "AOL and Internet free trial' on his desktop is a blast from the past.
I remember those old Windows screensavers! Could watch them over and over, especially the pipes.
I could watch pipes all day, just waiting for that teapot to appear!
Doesn't he wonder how the remote access software is even able to run on Windows 95?
A brain is needed to think
He is using the acess software on windows 10.He installed windows 95 in vm and after acess he fullscreened the vm
@@siddharthtiwari1152 he means if the scammer notices that, not us, we know that
Often enough the scammers don't really know that much about computers, they're just following scripts and basic training that their employer has provided.
They won't be able to solve simple software issues, most of them don't have any computer education. They previously where part of customer care service and once the automation took there jobs away, the so called call centres turned into scam company and started training there employees into this .
The more I watch these videos the more I'm surprised by how little scammers know about computers.
Its Compoooturr for them.
@вбриватель надводопроводнический lol
Most of them have very basic knowledge and only know a couple of tricks to gain the confidence of vulnerable people. They are following a script.
little scammers
Let's see how they could had reacted if they had to deal with a Linux PC 🤣
I ran a piece of string between my kids bedroom and his treehouse and attached tin cans to both ends, and he had 4 scam calls from India on it that morning
@AGU you see local vibrations can be released into the string, there actually would’ve been more than 4 if it weren’t for the noxious secretions of the overtone that the string provides.
But none from Nigeria because they're too busy making fake facebook profiles and trying to sucker people in the comments section.
Dude, I'd love to see one of those idiots get hacked with a virus that destroys their computer. 👊💣
@AGU breaking scammers' computers is a service to the world
because indians
😂😂😂
At 9:38, I thought you were moving the mouse and then trolling over it. Then I realized the scammer was probably moving the mouse the whole time. Both made the deadpan, "No-o," and the eyebrow wiggle hilarious in different ways XD
-"Your computer is infected with virus."
-"I guess windows 95 was pretty bad but I dunno if I'd call it a virus."
"For one it is a operating system, for the other the probably biggest virus ever created. "
Hey now. Don't attack my nostalgia like that. Win95 is the best system i ever had at the time
@@molybdaen11 Technically Windows 10 has more virus-like built-in "features" than Windows 95, such as a keylogger etc., although it's true Windows 95 already has back-doors (as do later Windows editions).
“Will scammers notice im using an Etch A Sketch?”
😂😂😂
maam your cat drawing has been hacked
@@fish4716 NOT THE CAT!
Hmm...sounds Sketchy
Thats is gold 😂😂
Give them a linux box to really throw em off.
I remember, some tech support scammer claiming that their client should get a "real operating system" instead of linux and angrily hung up
Lmao a microsoft tech support agent helping you with your linux machine is a funny plot
Run kali Linux just to really rub one in their face
run arch to flex on them
Plot twist: linux with a wallpaper made out of a windows desktop with all icons visible.
This is priceless! I love watching modern day tech kids who haven't had experience with an older OS go and try to navigate it. It's a great learning tool for kids etc to go back and check some of the older stuff. I love going back to my Commodore 64 from time to time which was my start in the computer world. Good stuff.
Why did Microsoft get rid of the pipe screensaver. That was dope.
It can be added to win 10 if you really want it.
It never gone.
They should bring a remastered, more modern version of it
Y'all forgot the aquarium screensaver
The brick maze is my favorite
Thanks. I’m a Gran (75) - but smart. You are doing a great job. I wish I could do half of what you do. The scum even phoned my Mum before she died at 95. I blow loud whistles at them, not sure how well that works. I haven’t perfected a good line to keep them waiting. Working on it. ❤️🇳🇿
You’re awesome! I think a whistle is such a great idea 😂 God bless your mama.
A very funny thing I saw once was a scammer communicating through emails and the "victim" simply said ok to every message he sent and it slowly drove the scammer insane and he stopped replying. It could maybe work for you who knows
@@unclecuddles5232 I believe you are referring to Atomic Shrimp, another hilarious scam-baiter.
Hmm, when a girl from my student home was harassed by a panting pervert, I made sure to silently take over the phone. After that I played along, panting back and reducing the volume of my voice, so he would get close to the receiver . I had a horn of my own though and I played as loud as I could on my trumpet. He never called again...
You are based. Based means “based on yourself” meaning that you are exceptionally cool for screwing with scammers like that. 👍
-are you moving the mouse?
*moves mouse*
-No
I just lost it there lmao such a classic
I think we can all form a team to call scammers and harrow them for fun. Just keep cracking jokes, get their Hopes up and deject them patiently and repeatedly.
“Will scammers notice I am using a Casio calculator?”
Will scammers notice I am using an abacus?
Will scammers notice I am using cave paintings?
Will scammers notice I am not using anything at all?
Will sacmmwr notice im using android?
Will scammer notice that I'm non-existent?
"i don't think i am even connected to the internet" lol golden
When "Chris" woke up this morning little did he know he would be up against Y2K!
Ha!
What is Y2K?
@@taterinx Nope it means a specific problem related to storing the date "2000" in the memory of computers in the nineties.
