Ran across your channel from watching Matt's and Daniel , AKA fisherman's life and reald outdoors , so I clicked And subscribe you know I got to support my locals always bruh , Much respect from the South Monterey Bay waters 🤝🏽
Anything along the peninsula is fine for crab snaring really. It's going to be more about people proximity trying to bomb 10oz+ (snare, bait and weight) beyond the breakers. This beach is right outside GG park, can have tons of people during parts of the year.
You are at a prime spot for a small perch. There are almost never a good sized ones at that location. Big ones - go to the Rockaway Beach and use sand crabs. I consistently catch 13, 14 inchers there on a sand crab on incoming tide.
OH HELL YEAH, music choices are on point
Right on! Appreciate it
How about including links to all you're equipment being used as well as bait. Helps out the newbies.
Thanks for the input. Hit me on ig I’ll send you the info
What a banger video, you got yourself a subscriber. Man i miss living in the bay. Can't complain though fishing is decent where i'm at now.
Appreciate that! Nothing like the Bay Area!
Dope vid bro! Keep up with the uploads!
Yee!
Gotta dip it in the stanky danky! lol nice vid bro. from one sandworm believer to another!
Yessir lol. Thank you man!
tell me ya smoke without telling me ya smoke! hahahah good shit my mans.
I don’t know what you’re talking about lol
those first two are about as big as I've ever caught up in Bodega Bay
You need to start fishing for the Barred Perch when they begin moving into the Bay to spawn, like early March... that's when the Mac Daddys show up...
Always hook those tiny walleyes out there , there must be like a biomass out there lol
Thanx for the vid
Nothing but tiny ones at that spot! The bigger ones are more south

Good video friend , was just checking out your channel and i joined up
Thanks man! Appreciate it!
What size setup are you using?(rod and reel and line) planing a trip now that I seen this video
8’6” medium rod…size 3000 reel… 20-30lb braid.
Are you still fishing a lot in sf? My bf is trying to learn and could use a bud 🙂
Hey bro nice video. Thanks for the info! Curious if this place is also good for crab snaring too?

SoCal has been slow the last few years for perch and other species. Red tides and bioluminescence the last few years. Hear NorCal is fun for big perch
Yup. Barred perch is the best perch for good eating.
Looked like most of the time I saw people used the sandworm, they hardly caught bigger size of perch.
It’s hit or miss… sometimes the big ones hit the sandworms. You weed out the smaller ones if you use bigger baits
Hi bro, could you put links for your hook and rod holder? Thanks
Go
To Gus tackle in Sf… they have everything you need
Dude every time i try fishing the surf i don't catch shit i don't get it
WHICH BEACH IS THIS AT??NEVERMIND THATS THE CLIFFHOUSE. NO ONE FISHES THERE. GO OUT TO SEAL ROCK INSTEAD.
1st fish is a walleye perch.
I realized that when I was editing the video. Sometimes those walleye have pretty dark bars on the side. I wonder if they are hybrids
😂😅😳😳😳😳
nothing too crazy? The Van Staal reel already makes me crazy...lol

He needs to get a scoop net and get his sand crab bait. It's free and abundance, just have to scoop it.
oh word? say less. ahahaha
walleye perch
Gotta move around the beach more if you keep catching dinks. Never stay in the first place unless it's endless action.
This is true! Learned this the hard way
Are those surfers in the ocean? 💀
Yes lol… doesn’t ever seem to effect the fishing
@@fishscale415 i'd be scared to snag a surfer with a treble or sinker haha
