I'm having fun doing what you did easily ! Got exactly the same puller. Tightened up nice & level really tight. Hit with hammer, loads of penetrating oil & even tried a blowlamp . Stator is not going anywhere. Stuck tight. No signs of corrosion on the joint either.
Thanks for the reply. All sorted now, the nut & washers were already removed. Eventually after really tightening the puller (& I mean super tight) I used a much meatier lump hammer & after 5 wallops we had liftoff ! Literally jumped upwards. Cheers from the UK
