It just struck me that one of the many MANY things i love about your channel is that you speak with a normal talking volume instead of shouting, which seems to be the norm on basically every other youtube channel. Happy midsummer!
Turns out after watching this , that my employee left the bolt out of the block after changing the fuel pump on my k5. I paused the video and walked out and looked ,sure enough it was gone. I even reminded him it needed to be in . Haha guess I should have done it myself. We had a laugh about it any way.
I third that , watch anything Dalton and the gang do , I look forward to Polebarn , JCS , Buff , JYD and Puddin content much better than the shit that is called TV these days :D
I mean NO DISRESPECT of any kind because this channel is one of my top 5 channels to watch. I honestly hope I get here with my garage someday. But when you said "we put a used window unit in" it caught me off guard and I couldn't help but laugh till my side hurt. The randomness of this channel is the absolute best!!! NEVER CHANGE FOR NO ONE!!!
I love the fact that this man works a "normal" 9 to 5, unlike 95% of all automotive channel hosts, and you would never know it if you watched just one random episode. Share this or any other PBG video with your friends, this channel deserves it.
@@JeffKopis yeah im sure getting to wrench on cars, travel around with family and friends is really a downer, compared to working in a factory for a company that could give two craps about you…
@@sccarguy8242 This stuff ain't easy. Becoming a TH-camr is HUGE leap of faith. He has to come up with fresh ideas ALL the time, or else he'll hear about it. Sick flames bro! Everybody knows the first step to repairing any car is to completely disassemble everything and then let it sit for 15 years while you slowly lose all the fasteners and hard to find pieces.
Thanks for PBG normality. No 30 minute intros, no unnecessary music 'enhancement', no explanations about megabuck tools that you might need once in a lifetime, just the usual Dalton pragmatism seasoned with a squirt of break cleaner, a sprig of sarcastic humour and the aroma of fossilised carbon derivatives. Keep the Vette going it’s a good story and I’m sure the outcome will be even better! It really is showing how you can do any car well on a budget that the new comers need to see. Keep up the good work!
I don’t know what to say. I have been watching that other giant channel, rhymes with rice chip, and was satisfied enough. I initially thought you were another of the same. Nope. You have a job AND a successful channel. No gushing, no touting the virtues of your latest laser cutter, no mega barn builds or bragging about the people waiting in line for hours to buy your merch. Just a guy, with a kid and a wife that are all in together. Getting dirty, drinking tea, being normal and providing a wealth of usable information. Thank you! Now I just need to find an Avanti.
Dad's van had almost 300k on the original engine running Fram orange filters on it. They really aren't that bad when you do consistent oil changes. I have since changed to Baldwin filters as my local farm supply carries the complete line and oil costs 5-15% cheaper there for the same brand name stuff you get at the auto parts store.
Yah I use them only for flushes I’m rebuilt a motorcycle swapped go kart and I have to do like 4 flushes to get all the bearing material out, and 3 dollar fram filters for the win in that case
As a french dude, honesly, you are a really really good professor of "american V8 damn cars", i own a Ford Galaxie 72' with the 6.6L 400ci on it, witch i need to take tare a lot cause she was sitting outside for like 15 years, and i watch every one of your videos with big interest, i learn a looooot of thing with all of your tips, that just so great to lean that much things. One of the reasons I enjoy your channel so much. Everyday kinda guy working on cars that just so happens to be recording. Relatable, I think all your followers would agree they could have a beer with ya!!!
I came over here about a month ago, after Western Truck and Tractor Repair recommended your channel. I have watched several of your video's, and love that you fix these, without putting a damn LS or some other electrically controlled garbage in the vehicle's. I was amused to see that you use plenty of liquid nails, which i use for a lot of stuff, and have been using it for well over 20 year's, and the stuff is still holding. I like how you think, because you have to go through a lot of tool's and mental challenges to fix some of this stuff, especially when rust gets involved. I get aggravated at time's, because i have progressive MS, and my whole left side has muscle wasting, weakness, numbness, and tingling. Trying to do stuff when i can barely feel my hand drive's me nuts, but it keeps me out of a wheelchair, so i smoke a an intermittent cigarette, and carry on. Dalton, i like how your wife and boy work with you on this stuff, you got some good friend's to. G-d bless from a lady in Michigan.

I... don't know how, but Dalton, you seem to have mastered the art of the good bad decision. You have a way of taking cars that arguably are worth less than a trash bag full of soda cans at the scrap place, and turning them into running, driving vehicles that are at least vaguely safe enough to arguably flip and resell them, or pass on to friends, as long as the buyer or friend knows a little about wrenching. Literally every car I can think of that you've bought has turned out to be something where if I knew the person who'd bought it, I'd tell them to fill it with fireworks, find an empty field that was nothing but mud and dirt, and see what kind of a Fourth-of-July spectacular they could make with it... and on a Dollar General budget and a six-pack of cans of whatever's on the cheapest sale at Wal*Mart this week and will approximately get you drunk, you turn it into a running, driving vehicle that, again, if kept by someone who at least knows maintenance basics, could be a rock-bottom daily driver for them. I don't know how the heck you do what you do, Dalton, but please don't ever stop. You, sir, are a force for good, however unlikely it may otherwise seem.

My dad has a 76' stingray that we redid brakes on a month or two ago! That car was practically restored at 100,000 miles when that 350 finally wore out. His dad and my dad put a newer 4 bolt main 350 in and hopped it up a bit. It's now got a 143,000 miles on the chassis and doesn't have a lick of rust! And it was originally from the north!
