I've noticed on a buncha channels that fuel pumps now days seem to be crap. A lot of them are garbage right out of the box.
They use crappy non-ethanol compliant rubber check valves. They end up sticking to their seat.

If your excite wire for your alternator is constantly attached to your battery it will cause a drain when your not driving leading to a dead battery 🪫 set it up to go off with the key never have a issue again
Glad you fixed that steering wheel. I almost died in an old jeep with an aftermarket wheel that just decided to let go one night at 60mph. I ended up off the road into a tree. Flown to the hospital, 5 week coma, countless physical therapy sessions, 2 years in a wheelchair, and 17 surgeries later, I've got more after market parts than some of your vehicles thats a guarantee. My scrap value is through the roof 😂. Seriously though, its been 12 years and 3 months of hell. Im lucky to be here, but if i had a lesser ambition, i wouldnt.

Seeing the L18 always makes me smile! Build a 521 you won't be sorry. I had mine set up like a 510 its the same front end doors to back of cab. You can use A 510 dash, and seats. Tortsion bar front the best looking tail lights on a mini. Tucked down under the gate if you move the plate holder you run two twin tips out that space between the lights, I miss that truck. Never sell your first truck.

You should look into a battery tender for your vehicles that are just sitting. That way you don’t have to worry about batteries and no starts as often.

Sir you have a family to support. Please do not tempt fate of drunk driver smashing in to you. Install some belts.
Resistor plugs, non resistive, spiral wound plug wires, noise suppression, etc. Do some research, they do matter.
The burnt smell on the bad plug is because it was a resistive plug and was passing too much current. If you don't care about radio noise, run spiral and non resistive. Open up the gap, they'll last forever.

Just a thought, but why not put a schraeder valve on your tank, so you can air it up on shop air after it sits a bit, might take some stress of your batteries
