Game changer. Absolute game changer. Thanks so much for your work on this, once I get a Jetson Nano I'll be signing up for the cloud. Can't believe how simple you've made this!
This is really great. I have a project that I'm really excited about but I was very worried about having a streaming setup that would actually work. There was absolutely no way I'd get a strong enough connection to do this the usual way with a LiveU using RTMP, so finding this is a godsend. Haven't started it yet because I can't find any nanos at the moment but once I can I'm super excited to try this out. Fingers crossed. Thank you so much for all your work.
I found this last year but had another project setup for live streams from Manchester Airport. I've got a jetson nano and I am going to try setup a stream pack for myself. Thank you for sharing this I am definitely going to support you. First test stream, because every BELABOX stream is a test stream will be Cat and Fiddle. Maybe one day I can buy you a beer IRL! Thanks again!
If you have the Orange pi and a gopro 11, do you still need a hdmi capture card? or does it work trough usbc as well? And if so, what setting do you select on belabox then?
Thanks for making this. As a very non programmer minded person this kind of guide makes it more interesting to try. May give this a shot at some point.
hello, want to ask if belabox work with the other camcorder professional live sony xdcam ex1 or canon xf 300, 305 connectted to the elgato hdmi usb key?
I recently configured my belabox account, thanks for the tutorial and for this absolutely awesome development!!!! It would be fantastic to have another tutorial on how to configure noalbs for low bitrate automatic switching in OBS with belabox. Can't wait to put it to work!!!
I Need Help Badly Please If Possible. I Have A Netscape Aircard 781S ( At&t ) But I Don't Think The Nano Is Picking It Up. Hope To Hear Back And Thanks.
Is it possible to switch between multiple inputs locally on the Belabox (Like different GoPros), and store the raw stream data locally? That would be very useful.
i'm stuck, after flashing the image file, how do I get to the initial setup screen, no idea on how to get the ip address. also before installation, there was an orange pi 5 plus img file and and orange pi 5 plus installer file. I installed the img file but what is the installer file for?
Questions: X265 is SRT? Which jets nano models works on belabox? Anyone? Where in Brazil this little model is more expensive than a large/new model, but idk if it’s going to work Right now I stream irl with gopro9 + tbs encoder, but want to try a new setup to stream on my car
Hello, I was configuring the belabox but it does not detect that it is connected to the internet when I want to obtain the IP, it detects the device but it does not appear in the connected state, I have the 4GB one, is it a configuration problem or is the device defective?
So I am currently running Netgear Nighthawk M1 to great success. I plan on travel to France next summer to the Olympics and other travel. I want to buy a Pocket WIFI for the trip to run alongside my M1 on an international plan, and I am having difficulty figuring out multimodem bonding. If anyone can help point me in the right direction, it is greatly appreciated!
Hey, are you planning to support different single computer boards? As Jetson Nano is not in my country available anymore, I am looking for some alternatives. Keep up a good work
Hey dude I was watching you on Subs channel with Sment and Lee the other day. A video on the Orange Pi and on cloud OBS would be sick. Keep up the great work 🙂.
Hello, instead to use Jetson Nano, is it possible install Belabox on a mini PC with Windows 11? Then from Belabox cloud I can use the link of live streaming SRT HEVC in vMix or any others software like it? Thanks.
Hello is it wise to not connect a hdmi cable, I mean will this flash if it gets bricked or something ? I mean won't you see anything not even that it gives some sort of power to the hdmi cable or do a quick check with hardware components or something ? If it's bricks it bricks you can't do anything probably but maybe an error or something you will see or not ? Was just a question that pops into my mind before putting it on power because I hear you say it flashes it to the ROM, see it also now in the Contents Chapter Flashing....
can the belabox be setup to also store a copy of the stream to a local usb drive or something along those lines for youtube and interruption free copies?
FYI on the latest release you cannot test the config without a camlink on the device, gives Capture card error (audio). Trying to restart... over and over
Is it really a surprise that it won't work if you don't actually have the capture card you've selected plugged in? The encoder's never been able to start in that case, the only difference is that it now shows an error in the web interface.
Nope, it's a cloud service, the cloud infrastructure isn't a software package suitable for deployment and maintenance by end users. But if you don't have good connectivity to any of the relay servers, you can let me know and I maybe be able to spin up a new one closer to you. The latency to a server on the same continent is negligible compared to the latency of a congested mobile network anyway, so the maximum 100-150ms you'll see is nothing.
Everyone who can uses the X3000 or AS300 because they just work. The gopro hero 10 can get decent natural colours and low light performance, but it takes switching between multiple profiles depending on lighting conditions and fiddling with the firmware to remove an overlay they're showing by default.
Yeah the x3000 is so expensive now because they are now discontinued I believe.. people are trying to sell them for anywhere from $500-$1000 ... they were originally like $250 or $300. I'm thinking about going with the GoPro Hero 7, but you'd need a better microphone to connect to it.
I know you said the 2gb is preferred, but there's a 4gb version locally to me for a good price, will the process and setup be the same, just might be a bit more challenging to power? Thanks!
Great video, well done. Rather than connect directly to a modem, can the Speedify app be loaded to allow bonded cellular connection? I know this is not a typical IRL set up because I will be using a laptop as well for remote broadcast.
Hey bud, I’m trying to build a back pack based off of your build. The one thing I was curious is if the M6 pro is worth it. I noticed you used the m1 for the build. Does the 4g cut it? Or should I try and run the M6 I found one unlocked for Verizon… by any chance can I hit you on IG or somewhere to ask questions about building also I have some questions about launching the actual stream. Like does my computer need to be running the whole time. If I’m going to be streaming somewhere hours away how would I do that? Stuff like that. If you don’t have time to answer totally get it. Just figured I’d ask.
no, it's a DIY project, you need the stuff he is mentioning in the video and then follow the steps he is showing in the video, he is providing the source code to make it all work and if you want you can support him, which i highly recommend doing, this is amazing work and by supporting someone like this guy you will see a future of way better quality and connection on IRL streaming.

But is there a way to use Belabox without needing a PC? Is using a cell phone okay?
Is it possible to use multiple cameras with all their own belabox and in sync in OBS or other tool?
Does belabox support multiple camears? I'm interested in mouinting to two gopro 11s on my ebike and have he ability to swtich between the two.
Hello, instead to use Jetson Nano, is it possible install Belabox on a mini PC with Windows 11? Then from Belabox cloud I can use the link of live streaming SRT HEVC in vMix or any others software like it? Thanks.
Will you make a Orange Pi video? My understanding is everything is the same except you don't need the Elgato capture card is that correct?
Hi. Indeed, it works pretty much the same, see belabox.net/rk3588/
Could anyone tell me why I can't make this same system with a Raspberry Pi?
available streaming video/audio codes AC-3 and other 5.1 channel ?
what is the difference between just using normal belabox and belabox cloud, can I just use standard belabox for free and expect good performance?

NGL, you've lost me there.
Did you ever make a video on how to set up the disconnect screen to launch automatically in OBS with the belabox?
If not, do you know of a good tutorial for that? I am completely lost with this kind of stuff.
This is genius. Elgato needs to hire you to make a product for them
Am I able to upload RAW images to Dropbox using this?
Hi, is there a way to remove the scrolling numbers that appear on the upper right side of the screen when steaming. Thank you in advance!!
They're off by default, you must have enabled the bitrate overlay under the Encoder settings.
@@rationalirl6430 Thank you sir. I still can’t believe I was able to put it together . All thanks to you. Have a great day!!
can the belabox be setup to also store a copy of the stream to a local usb drive or something along those lines for youtube and interruption free copies?
Nope, but you can just record directly on the camera
Can we connect to modems with 2 different sim cards so the connection is more reliable? Looking forward to use your service. Congrats

I saw this was asked already but Ill ask again. The Jetson Nanos are SUUUPER expensive for some reason right now. Can you use a Rasberry Pi 4 instead?
No, asking again won't cause a decent hardware video encoder to magically appear on the RPi.
