A possible way to fix if youtube font is too small or big

- Today suddenly my youtube font was really small and i was trying to work out how to fix it, and there seemed to be all these different complicated solutions and what made mine go back to normal was just holding the control button and then scrolling the mouse wheel. hopefully this helps some of you at least!

i wanna pin some solutions other ppl have come up with in the comments for different operating systems or no mouse etc

Also sorry, i dont know how to change it on an ipad or iphone.
for iPad and iPhone go to settings then go to display and brightness then press text size then adjust it to the middle to make it normal size if it doesn’t work refresh the app or website

@@sklanegames701 Same I thought EVERYONE knew this but i guess not I also thought this was gonna be a tutorial on how to change the font size (without zooming in) and also change this weird looking font where its very blocky and hard to read. I found out (on google chrome) you go to settings and click apperance in the left corner. select Customize Font Size and I changed my settings to:
Font Size: 18
Minimum font size: 15
Standard Font: Arial.
Serif Font: Arial
Sans Serif Font: Arial
Fixed Width Font: qtquickcontrols
TH-cam looks so much better now!

hello guys i found a fix for those of us without a mouse
just hold ctrl and keep hitting the "+" button to increase or the "-" button to reduce....

I cannot thank you enough for this!! My cat was on my lap and nuzzled the keyboard and all of a sudden the font was super tiny. It was driving me crazy. Thank you!!!

I know it's been awhile, but you saved me. My cat sat on my keyboard and shrank my text (videos were fine) so much I couldn't read it! All a quick Google showed was how to increase font size across the board. I'm back to normal now thanks to you!

I have been dealing with this issue for about a month or two and quit using youtube because of it; looking around for solutions was not helping me BUT YOU DID and it was SO simple! Thank you. In my case it wasn’t TH-cam that was small, but the font in Microsoft Word. I bought a new Monitor and when I used the new Monitor for the first time, the font in Word was small even though it showed font size 11. I know font size can be made larger by increasing it to say 18, but I wanted to keep it to size 11. So, I did what you suggested and font size is now bigger but still font size 11. Thanks again.

Hold control and press the + to increase the font size. Press the - to make it smaller.
Ive been using the computer for 30+ years and still finding shortcuts around the keyboard lol. Your tip is even better than messing with the wheel on the mouse. Thank you.

I was asking that exact question if there is a short key to enlarge the font because if we're able to minimize it without jumping through multiple commands and accessing settings etc., you should be able to enlarge it. My guess is those techs don't know the system well enough if they can't explain it starting with the most obvious solutions.
literally 2.5 minutes ago I was mindlessly scrolling, and I had accidentally zoomed into the maximum zoom factor (it was unusable). Thanks for the quick fix!

I found out another easy way. You go to the 3 dots in the top right corner and there will be something that says zoom with buttons that looks like this - 100 + but if everything is smaller it will probably look like this - 90 + and you just have to hit the plus to make it bigger

FINALLY the solution! And not even Google knows this clever and easy fix. Once the "accident" happens and you are left with tiny letters and no idea how you got there, nobody gives you a solution. Most videos are about changing the size INSIDE the videos, not the font OUTSIDE videos and all in general, except this one!!! Thank you so much!
