Thanks for the tips about repurposing older content vertically. I started a new art channel and the shorts are getting amazing results. I have found it easier to just shoot the vids specifically with shorts in mind when working with art in iMovie because of the vertical limits but I will try Kapwing.

I finally did this with the free editor that comes with windows 10, I lowered it to some other definition but still had a lot of black on the sides and the actual image looked small with the cellphone resolution video. Then found the option "portrait" and the black on the sides was very slim. Then I saw you mentioned 9 by 16, and did not notice than when I clicked "portrait" the 9: 16 resolution was finally ublocked, now the video I had with cellphone resolution I was able to edit in the same exact resolution. I'm so happy. I had tried this years ago with multiple editors and had not been able to do it. And it's hard to find videos that explain this, very very hard. The search engines give you all other stuff

I have been trying to get this right for hours. Everyone of the shorts I make using this get a wide video format. The video plays in a vertical format but it looks like a video format that is blacked out on the sides before you pay it. I have watched this video many times & cannot figure what I m doing wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Amazing video - is there any way to make the clips like zoom to each other so there isn’t just like a complete frame change and instead it slides over to the next one? If that makes any sense

Hi I got a problem. Why exported Mp4 only had MP3 music and sound no video. Tried many times followed exactly your guide but still cant get the video. Wonder what wrong wrong? Please advise. Thanks
