I cannot thank you enough for your video. I have tried numerous time to calibrate my explore air 2 without success. I was getting so frustrated. I am so happy I did a search on youtube and found your video. It worked right away. I also used fragrance free baby wipes and cleaned my machine but I know your trick is what ultimately fixed my calibration problem. I saved your video in case it happens again. Thank you so very much.
Thank you sooo much, I found your video after I finish an hour call with cricut support. They told me that if I need this option to work I need to upgrade my machine or buy a new one. And my machine is 2years old! Thank you really for sharing that🙏
Your welcome 💜 I went through the same thing with that but the man I spoke with made me do a hard reset on my machine and it seemed like he wasn’t guiding me correctly so I got frustrated and hung up on him. I just ended up googling it up and luckily I came across something and I tried it and it worked! I’m the type of person that I have to keep trying different things and I don’t give up even if it causes frustration cuz at the end I figure it out even after hrs of trying different things lol. I thought I would make a video cuz I was sure there would be people with the same issue. I love to help others if I can ☺️

hi I just watched your Video but when I turn the machine off and press a few times the light come on and when I turn the machine on the light is off so is there anything else I could do
The light doesn’t stay on the whole time the cricut machine is on. The light only will come on when it’s reading the registration marks to do a print and cut. Every time you turn it on it should do a quick flash of the light but it won’t stay on completely the whole time. The only time when it will turn on is like I said when it’s reading a registration mark. Meaning if you’re cutting out a print and cut. Not a basic vinyl cut. Hope this helps answer your question. If not maybe try unplugging the whole machine including the cables/ from outlet and try replugging them all in and do the same steps that I showed all over again and see if that helps. Sorry wish I could help more. Hope this works for you.
My machine won’t calibrate cause it’s saying the sensor is no longer any good, I pray this option works for me as well cause I can NOT print & cut ONLY CUT, I hope this works when I get home, I will be back to let h know, circuit said the sensor is no longer working & I need a new machine or I can just cut for now
I feel you! I was on with some guys for an hour and he was of no help. At the end he said he didn’t know what else to tell me but that I would have to replace the light bulb. I’m like there’s no way it would go out this soon! So I did some research. Couldn’t find anything to help me on TH-cam so I googled it and ran into something. Tried it and it WORKED! I was just as excited. I’m like I have to help more people that are going through this same issue. I love helping out when I can. It doesn’t hurt to share knowledge 😊
Are u having issues with the light cutting on? Maybe you might really need to replace the right bulb? A lot of ppl been having this same issue and it has worked for them. I wish I could help.
@@Happiness.Are.In.Little.Things . I found the problem that the paper is shiny and the cutter does not recognize it well, so I shaded the black lines with a light color and then cut 😅

Trust me it will work. A lot of ppl have done how I showed and it worked for them as well. 😊
Unfortunately, it did not work well. Oh, I want to cry. I have many requests, and so far the machine has not recognized the barcode

Oh yes! lol I've had that issue before too. I just go over the registration mark again with black permanent marker and it fixes the issue.
