    Thank you for this detailed tutorial! I watched the official Cricut video first, but the demonstrator did not explain the lining up of the small lines top and side and I was lost! You did it perfectly and now I am ready to calibrate my machine for my first Print Then Cut project!

    I agree with Kristen. I was pleasantly surprised to have the notification. I have calibrated my machine but never thought to remove the square to confirm the cut. Thank you

    I calibrated my Air 2 for the first time last evening as I am new and am still learning. I still didn’t have the courage to do a print then cut. I will soon. 😊
    Oh yes, my copy paper got pretty stuck to my mat. I had to scrape it off. I need a hack for perfectly lining up my transfers to the mat. I finally got by using some wax paper to keep the paper from sticking to the mat like a magnet. I used wax paper because I didn’t have any parchment paper. This helped me line the paper up without it prematurely sticking to the mat. Got it that time perfectly and was able to correctly calibrate my machine.
    Thank you 🎉

    I have had the circuit maker for about 9 months. I used it twice when it told me to calibrate, I started the process, and it told me to install the fine point cutting blade. it was already installed, but the machine still wouldn't read it for some reason. Multiple attempts, and she went in the closet after failing miserably. tomorrow, I will bring her back out and watch your video again in hopes for some success. thank you for your tutorial.

    My print then cut calibration has been: print the calibration sheet. Put it in the blue mat. Stick it in the cricut. Push the buttons. Watch the blade slide one way and then the other. Watch it stop and do nothing. Wait for something to happen. See if there was some button I was supposed to push that I didn’t push. Wait for something to happen. Turn everything off and turn it on again. Repeat process. Turn off Cricut. Get out scissors. Cut out stickers. I hate that I spent $400 on this thing.

    I'm not sure what I am doing wrong but I followed this tutorial as well as your waterproof sticker tutorial and I'm trying to print and cut 3 different images on the same sheet of printable vinyl and the first two images are the only two that cut accurately, the next 2 are a little off and the last 2 aren't even close. I've tried 3 different times making sure my vinyl was aligned properly on the mat as well as making sure it is loaded into the machine as straight as possible. Cricut Explore 3 here. Any suggestions?

    Hi! I am using the latest version of Design Space No.8.7.66. This version does not seem to have the 3 lines that the version you were using. All it has is the word HOME. I am also using a Maker 3 Machine. I suggest that maybe you may want to explore this version to see if you can find where the word Calibration is hiding. This version has moved many things around. I hope you can find the Calibration word so other members can find it also. I have not been able to do so. Good Luck Crafty.

      I recently had the same problem - here is what I found that worked for me... In Design Space in the upper right corner click on your name, then click on Settings. You will see different tabs - click on Machines, then you will see Machine Calibration. Select Cricut device and follow the instructions. It was pretty easy once I got there. Good Luck and I hope this helps you and anyone else struggling.

      Not sure anyone said you did however, there are many folks who seem to complain on Facebook and/or Cricut forums about issues after an update to Design Space. The standard answer is to calibrate and that generally fixes their problems. I also do it whenever I change printers.

    Does it work on a sublimation printer 🖨️

    • @rachaelkershaw4627
      @rachaelkershaw4627 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, however you may struggle to get the correct colours printing directly from cricut design space. If you download a virtual printer that saves your image from cricut DS as a PDF or PNG then you can access the image from another programme such as Photoshop to get the correct icc profile that your printer requires to get the colours right. But yes, theoretically you can print then cut directly from design space to your sublimation printer but if the colours don't look right then try the above ☺️
