If you're using lenovo legion notebook(mine is legion 5i) there is an option(Network boost) in lenovo vantage(Lenovo control panel) that priority internet load balancer which makes all the bandwidth focus on the game. Turn that off and your stream should be better

Or you can add discord to be prioritised too, that way ur game is still running as high as possible

This man right here solved all my problems. Was having this dumb issue where my stream would lag and voice would cut in and out badly ONLY when someone was watching my stream. Been like this for years, friends saying my laptop doesn't like streaming etc. even though its high end and shouldn't care hardware wise. After sooooo many tutorials on how to make discord run better while streaming. This comment right here solved all my problems. Pointed me to Lenovo advantage where there's an option called network boost. (It is an option which prioritizes all of the network to the games you play.) I added discord to this list of applications and boom streaming is fine voice is fine everything works. Can actually stream to my friends for the first time which is great because I am trying to show off Elden ring to a friend who is interested in it. o7

For anyone looking for a laggy mouse fix, check that you have your mouse plugged into a 3.2 USB port and not a 2.0. This fixed the issue for me and many others

It got a little bit better, but still laggs and flashes green for the ones watching when I try and stream Nier on Discord. I'm at a loss for words, I've tried everything people have suggested (It's only on Nier aswell as it flashes green and lags)

when i click on an image on discord it makes discord a bit laggy until i click off of it. Also when i click screenshare on discord, before i even start screensharing it gets super laggy. I use a laptop is there any tips?

Its so weird how these options make my ingame fps drop/studder when streaming... was discord streaming RUST to my friends and noticed studdering. The studder is now gone. =)

tech how i have a problem when i share my screen in google meet and have a game open it breaks eveything i cant move my latency reaches so high i press 1 button it takes a while for it to render and its really annoying because discord is banned here in the uae
