Let me know how YOUR results in the comments, have you done this before and was it reset?
I have only one problem i cant download AMD adrenaline or else for AMD says error code 182 grapchis card not supported
What’s ur discord or instagram???
What about just uninstalling the game bar??
Have a Microsoft account and see the trusted owner with the account email but in advanced security settings the add button is greyed out. This is in Windows 11 Pro
@@Ro99ieXyou cant it just installs by it self
This is one of those little tweaks that i always thought was completely placebo and insignificant, but actually had a very noticeable effect on performance.
Hey may, I rarely comment on videos period, but I've been trying to diagnose this issue for about a week and this worked for me, thank you so much dude, you're awesome!
this channel always teach me something, thanks mate. btw i loved how you tutorialized the ad lol
THANK YOU THIS IS THE ONLY TUTORIAL THAT ACTUALLY WORKED ❤❤❤❤
I didn't expect it but the difference is huge usually these optimizations doesn't change much but this 🔥
Very easy to follow, thank you 🙌
Thanks to you I have fixed micro stuttering on my gaming PC after 2 years trying different methods. Amazing thanks a lot!
this brought a major difference. Thank you.
Just in case it hasn't been stated already, but if you ever do a check disk scan on your system you will most likely have to redo this each time after every scan, as it reverts back to original name & setting for some reason. Been using this little change for a while now & it does provide a noticeable difference, especially when you have more than just a couple of games installed.
what is a check disk scan, and what is it usually used for?
Thanks daddy I've been wondering why it kept resetting
I think you're talking about sfc, not chkdsk.
Can't I rely on the reg edit only then?
For me this method worked thank you so much!
Thanks!! Great tutorial!
Nice and detailed instructions thanks your videos keeps me enjoying my pc keep it up and have a good time love from Qatar
Liked, commented and subbed! Your videos are always spot on and and easy to follow. Thank you for the quality content.
I don't know if you'll read my comment or not but I've been following you for quite a while. I have tried out many different videos. Some of them were a bit helpful, most of them weren't (probably because I had a potato pc). Built new PC about a year ago and finally bought Rx6600 (From Gt1030). The biggest problem I was facing was microstutters, and screen tearing in Valorant. I tried multiple AMD optimization videos but they weren't much useful. So I wasn't expecting much from this video anyway. Despite that, I just went ahead and did the renaming part and started a game in Valorant after restarting PC. I couldn't believe that the screen tearing was almost as good as gone! Also, the frametime from Rivatuner was so smooth and silent that I was shocked! There's only occasional small hiccups which I even see in professional streamers video. Previously, the line had too many jitters when I was shooting or suddenly checking map or the scoreboard. But now, all are gone! There's BARELY any stutters. I am truly thankful for this tutorial. Without a doubt it is my most favorite video in this channel.
Damn bro...
@@BarryWw It really helped me!
use enhanced sync, fixes tearing
Thanks man, not only does it make fps stutter but it's also pretty annoying, I'm glad I found this video.
Appreciate it tons! Big thanks!♥
Thanks, works great 👍
It works 🙏 Made my games so much smoother!
I used it cause of Escape from tarkov and other 2 games and it runs way more smoother. Thank you
bro is a genius
Works a charm 🙌
Thank you, very grateful
thank you man u a GOAT
Resolved my issue, Thank you
VERY IMPORTANT SUGGESTION:
For the GAME PRESENCE BAR WRITER step (the step after the restore point), Windows couldn't find my user when I inputted my microsoft account or my local account name BUT when I tried to input the account name of the VERY FIRST LOCAL NAME I HAD WHEN I GOT MY PC it WORKED (I changed my account name from its original).
Hope this helps. Sorry if I didn't articulate it well, my sleep patterns are shit.
Thanks!
also you can go to cmd -> type in command "whoami"
Thanks!!
Tysm I wasn't expecting it to do much now as much as it didn't make a drastic difference in big games such as fortnite but I have a bad laptop but other smaller games like roblox it ran better then ever so I will definitely be subbing
Disabling game bar can potentially make it a pain to play games that require you to be signed into microsoft. Just be aware.
xbox game pass: 👋
well..
if u know how to revert all that i guess its fine
god fix thank you so much!
You should do revamped vids like this constantly. Like is doing "disable full-screen optimization" still a thing or no?
Thanks it actually fixed the micro stuttering for 50 percent to 15 - 5 micro stuffers
thanks for help 😊
omg thank you so much, this method help so damn much in cs2-the game has the worst frametime graph im ever seen, after this the graph still look like sh*t, but the spike only half before do this, and the game feel much more smother
Followed the first video for a great reduction in stuttering and small FPS gains. This update has totally gotten rid of all stuttering and given a 40 -50 FPS improvement ! i7 8700k @ 5.1Mhz RTX3080 32gig DDR4 3200 The man's a wizard thank you. Applied to both system and registry.
I have the same setup minus 16gb ram but i get stuttering from time to time...
40-50 fps improvement in what game and what fps before the setting
yeah you just don't get that big of an fps gain. At most, basic optimizations you only gain 1-20 fps gain. 40 to 50 and you're just delusional. Either you maxed out your settings that your PC couldn't handle and just turned it down and did this then it would be possible. But in general without changing shit, you're not getting any big improvements but 10 fps or 20 at max. Good try though. Intel fuck boy.
what was the first video?
That's cap
I can't believe it helped, it made my low fps more stable.
Same. Tho, I believed. =D
First time trying this, hope i get less stutters in Black Desert Online ty !
You are a legend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I want to see a real benchmark difference data with this on and off 😅
You can't measure micro stutter difference by synthetic benchmark. Worked wonderfully for me.
@@Dudenesschocobothanks for the input
@@Dudenesschocoboget msi afterburner and use their benchmark feature. You can track the 1% and 0.1% low from that
@@kitsumyr9752 nothing will tell if the game is stutters or not like the real gaming experience. I told the difference is night and day for me in cyberpunk. Don't need to see any other numbers on the screen to tell me that.
@@Dudenesschocobo yes you can, with a frame time graph. It's pretty simple actually.
thanks bro
Thought that this was just some gibberish initially, but for Remnant 2 renaming the file really did make gameplay smoother! Incredible, why Windows is even using this file >
When I play shooter games, my laptop stutters. I did this and tried playing a game that makes my laptop stutter, I havent experienced stuttering in my session. Hopefully it's a permanent fix, Thank you for sharing this fix, massive help.

No way, u r the best! see yah.

in my case i did the whole tutorial and i tested it on cyberpunk2077 by the way i have a laptop with a RTX 3060 (6gb) with a I7-core 11800H and the game looks very smooth. tysm

I was playing ghostrunner, I was not understanding why my game is frozing that hard, I tried reinstalling the game in my SSD and same thing, actually this helped me
Are you going to do an Apex Legends "season 19" FPS increase best settings guide? or something on DX12 Compiling Shaders every game restart. My friend and i having trouble with this bug for a while. we're on gtx1070 and 1660ti GPU
my dude i could kiss you! i5 10400f rtx 3050 desktop so things are bad to begin with but (32 gb of ram is the only decent thing), man, it is a god-send. it works, the stuttering is gone! thank you so much!
The Kingg, thank you
can attest this actually works, was getting light stuttering and sometimes hard stuttering and so far this worked. im playing AC mirage, NFS unbound, and CP2077 is was getting stuttering. I'll revisit my commit if the stuttering returns but so far everythings buttery! thank you @panjno !!
Tysm
Fixed my stutter on my new monitor!
I'm confused...I just watched your video of two days ago and downloaded nvidia profile inspector and added my game and game bar settings in section 5. My game has never stuttered, so what about the modification suggested in this video and how does it affect the section 5 modification? Thanks.
FINALLY! This is the true solution for Escape from Tarkov from the honest youtuber as always, thanks Panjno!
I hope you find more deeper files to optimize like this in System32
Hey Panjo thanks for the info, I tried this for Call OF Duty but it didn't work! I just recently started to noticing some stuttering this week for MW3. Not sure if it was Activisions recent update or a Windows automatic update that did it? I ask around on Reddit and people have complained about the same thing. Is there a way to tell what is making the game stutter or lag? Is it your PC or the game itself!? Can you do a video to help distinguish this?
It would have been nice to have comparison video. But thank it's informative at it's core. Didn't windows 10 had an option to disable this features in the windows settings ?
It did, but what I think was the problem here is that games kept trying to run this file despite it being turned off
u earned yourself a new subscriber, thanks bro!
Thank you very much! Stutters in Cs2 have seemed to stop for me. Amd ryzen 7 7800x3d & rx7800xt.
Why dont we just set game bar to never run in background in settings ? Or terminate ?
Have no clue what it does, but i just did it. Lets go :D
I just got a Lenovo LOQ 15.5 with an Nvidia 4050, a Ryzen 7, 24 gigs of ram and 1T of internal storage. As a replacement for my trusty but old Dell G3. I have stuttering issues when playing games like Nioh 2 or Bloody Spell, even on the lowest settings. On games like Monster Hunter Rise or Street Fighter V I have no issues at all. I playing most of my games from an external hard drive to save on memory but I don't know if that may be causing issues as well.
would using a 3rd party debloater to uninstall windows gamebar have a similar effect? if the files are uninstalled/deleted, they cant be accessed, correct or no?
3:19 so im really curious if some games wont work properly? I know its a stupid question but im just curious
uf thankgod for this
Got tired of things like this (stuttering and shit) and i wanted to try console gaming instead, i like most parts of it but the lack of mouse and keyboard supported titles on xbox makes me wanna switch back to PC.. but then i see videos like this one 😂 still switching tho because i want to tweak every setting possible and scratch my hair in anger it seems
so the issue is that my friends play on Xbox and im on pc so the only way to join a party and talk with them is through the game bar stuff would I still be able to do that with this optimization or does this completely disable the ability to use it?
Also wondering this
Hi Panjno I renamed the gamebarpresence file and put some random letters like you said so to stop it from running. I then restarted my computer but I still get a lot of stutters and lags and my game isn't smooth. I then tried the second method and at the part where you had to give additional permissions at 8:14 of the video, when you click apply it still gives me the error and it says access is denied but yours worked fine. I have given myself full control and ive also done all the steps correctly so why does this happen? Can you give me a solution.
I've tried so many things to fix my issue and just like the rest this did not help. I'm glad it's worked for so many. I just wish I could find my problem.
can you ONLY change this on regedit? Or is it necessary to go on windows/system32 folder?
Unfortunately this didn't work for me when finishing up and renaming gamebar when I type anything it makes a noise every time I press something and I need to restart my pc to get out of it. Any thoughts?
For AMD 7950x3d CPUs. Shouldn't you leave the Game Bar activated?? I don't understand ?
Thank you will give it a go!
from 15fps now 95 fps in 4K ultra with a gtx 1080;, thank u
you should do Steam Deck optimizations or Linux. I think that would be huge...
not much to optimize there. it's not windows. if youre struggling to run a game it's because the hardware is too weak
@@plasmahvhusually true. In some games you do need to do some tweaks but that is verh game spesific.
The biggest thing is probably nvidia drivers unless you are on pop!_os
@@mirzu42 whats the difference? i assume pop os uses the same drivers from nvidia.
@@Anton-ct6ou pop makes it super easy to install them. It has a graphical interface where you can select whichever driver you want (open source/nvidia official/whatever). I think it also has some nvidia drivers by default.
It is made to be as easy or even easier to install than on windows.
On the other hand installing nvidia drivers on some other distros require you to download all the required stuff manually and then install it. On some distros you need to disable the desktop environment (?) or something like that. I remember it was a pain in the ass a few years ago.
and god forbid if some poor fucker listens to these arch dudes and manages to somehow install arch as a new user. Getting nvidia to work is almost as hard as installing the system itself.
I think nowadays its easier to get it working with a few commands on terminal atleast on the most popular distros but nothing like pop
@@mirzu42 I mean I installed arch by following a youtube video 2 years ago and it's still going strong. It has its quirks and requires troubleshooting sometimes but I knew that going in. None of the troubleshooting involved nvidia drivers in particular though, mostly stuff not supporting wayland+nvidia together (which has for the most part been addressed now)
It does work a little.
Yep, still runs even with both system and registry edits. Just terminating via Process Lasso at this point.
Son of a biscuit.........it did reset itself. Thanks for this 👍🏾
The first way I didn't have "security" tab. The registry way worked
Soon hitting 500K 🎉
This screwed up my permissions for windows security now everytime I click on windows security there’s a blank screen. I also can’t disable things because I says I don’t have the permissions.
How do we know that this application has been truly disabled with this process? This exe lives in other folders such as the SysWOW64 folder. Does that mean that we have to do this procedure with all the instances of the presencewriter.exe?
my problem is, even tho I put my microsoft account it says numbers and letters, not the actual name I inputted there and after I do the first step, if I go back to properties, it wont let me add
I've followed your other video of this recently, do I need to do this again?
Can you please make optimization videos for Android as well?
Can u do a benchmark???
I want to see the difference
Any word on how this will affect the 7950/7900x3d cpus? They use gamebar specifically for the core parking to put games on the 3d cache CCD. Does this method break that?
I dont know i think you should keep it on unless you would want to use an park control
There's been tests where there are no differences with gamebar on or off with x3d cpus. It can still recognize games with gamemode on.
In the case of 7900x3d and 7950x3d I would leave game bar on 100%. It’s what triggers the 3d cache. You could try this setting but you would have to lasso everything or turn off the non 3d cache ccd in the bios.
Full control is greyed out when I do the “check name” thing. So I had to click “inherited from” trusted user and then it worked
Is this okay to use for people with 7000 series AMD x3d CPU's where they specify that you need game bar on and working in order for it to allocate cores properly for your games?
People have tested where gamebar made zero difference on or off. Gamemode should be able to help with that.
There are lots of different things that can give you micro stutter! Your MB bios, just because its the newest doesn't mean best! They mess up just like amd or nvidia on drivers, so check that also!
Pro tip with buying windows keys, you can use a Windows 10 key for Windows 11. Same difference. I just built a new PC and used a windows 10 home key on my windows 11 home install activation works fine.
Bro thank you very much, this shit worked. Micro Stutters are gone from CS2 now. BIG THANKS! *EDIT* I think even my Windows 10 Experience got a little bit snappier then before this. ;D
use a script name take ownership install then navigate to folder and right click hit option name take ownership and then u can rename file
lets go first visualization
When I enter my user name or email it gives me an error saying I cannot access
I tried this for remnant 2 as i get small stutters whenever i turn my camera but it sadly didn't fix it. even used both methods to be sure.
i boosted ark ascendand from 10 fps to 13 huge broo thanks

Wouldn't have the service being turned off have the same effect? I never see this running in my task manager.
I agree, I have the .exe but its not running in services or any place else. Maybe these people had it running. Also you have to run regedit.exe as a administrator to change settings. All these claiming ownership is generally not needed if you do that.
After doing the second way of the optimazation in the RegEditor should i also set the owner back to TrustedInstaller like on the first one?
No. It's only needed for the first one. Just follow instructions exactly as shown in the video.
Right, thanks.
