@@longbow192 Ohhh maybe you should add something to the original comment so it's obvious you are referring to the cars and phones so that dense idiots like me get it lmao
A cellphone or car doesn’t equal a classroom. What progression can exist in a classroom… Zoom? iPads? The teaching dynamic isn’t what ought to be criticized but the subject matters that can lead to jobs and/or creating businesses.
Also no one gonna mention how mid court case this lawyer went “ahhh fuck it, my client is lookin guilty AF time to hate on my history teacher and pray they forget he’s guilty”
Did you know, school was originally made to make kids to get mediocre jobs like working in factories? And the system has stayed generally the same since. Besides some grade changes and added programs the system is still the same. Admittedly, that's good, although we hate it we need those kids in mediocre jobs
@@alexbuckersschmickle1540 Don't think I see the logic here. What use is literature or Algebra when your job is on a factory line? If the only point of the school system is to pump out workers for simple jobs then why bother paying for high school education. It's a waste of tax dollars. In my opinion the school system is a selection process meant to find the brightest and most likely to succeed at a high level in more academic roles in society. It also is meant to find students strengths and nurture them while discouraging skills that are lacking. We can argue about its effectiveness which I'm sure varies heavily depending on the school but that In my mind is the purpose of the education system

70 years still ain’t good
@@joeyshaver9658 true. tbh i have no idea if school has changed in the last 30 years let alone 150. sure people still sit at desks sometimes but I imagine the subjects and the way information is presented and structured has changed. Not always for the better though. Educationalist Ken Robinson spoke very clearly and passionately about this, for example how education is often from the neck up and ignores that we are embodied beings.
@@hamishmacpherson6080 what are they suppose to change tho?

LoL
what.
Smaller?? The kids don't fit in the classrooms the way they are now, how are you gonna get them to fit in a smaller space??
@@Mari-Schimmer I'm not actually suggesting we make classrooms smaller. It was just a nod to the fact that compared to "back in the day", cars are rounder and phones are smaller, so we need to apply the same upgrades to classrooms. I hope this helps.

He just proved that the schools are working in making better stuff
Did you know, school was originally made to make kids to get mediocre jobs like working in factories? And the system has stayed generally the same since. Besides some grade changes and added programs the system is still the same. Admittedly, that's good, although we hate it we need those kids in mediocre jobs
@@alexbuckersschmickle1540 Facts
They want you to follow the same script
1- get good grades
2- go to college
3- work a dead end job and be a slave
Schools don't teach all that though.
