I can relate. My biology teacher told me to let her know that I needed to go puke in the bathroom BEFORE going there. Keep in mind, the puke was literally in my mouth. Everyone that I tell this story to tells me I should have puked on her desk.
If they keep it up, then the school shooting rate would increase dramatically. As much as I want to see those pieces of garbage on pyres, these shooters have a nasty habit of killing innocent people as well - if not outright miss the ones who really deserve it. Schools need to fix their problems immediately before anyone else dies, whether it be from suicide or homicide.
I found this quote on reddit: "If students are happy about a pandemic killing millions of people, the world burning, the economy crashing just because they don't have to go to school we should note that the education system is messed up."
@@78anurag this is so accurate that even my dog understands my pain when I have to go to school.(note: I'm not gonna say if I quit or not, as it's my personal life))
Hey there Buddies! Can you guys help me take immediate action against the Education system? Here's My Plan : Step 1: Collect Information (Check Survey On my About Page) Step 2: Make a Document that addresses the problems & solutions for the education systems. Step 3: We all come together and Send that document (via Mail) to Policy Makers, Government officials, media companies, and so on. If enough people (hundreds, maybe thousands) send that document and we can gain enough support and attention, I think we can make a huge difference, no matter who we are. *Basically, we start an online-Revolution*
I’ve always hated school, but then I tried applying for a job for the first time, and I realized I didn’t have a clue where to begin. School never taught me how to start a job, they were just too busy shoving the Pythagorean Theorem down my throat For the fourth time in my education instead of teaching me useful things in how to start my life. I also realized that a lot of my friends, who are in 11th grade by the way never learned how to write in cursive, which is bizarre because that’s literally needed to sign legal documents that could change your life! I find that you rarely need any of the stuff that they teach you do. The school system is just such a miserable waste of time
I remember when I was in third grade they did teach us cursive, but now it's gone, and that makes me so upset. Because I practiced from third grade, I can still read and write the entire alphabet in cursive. In my opinion, students should at least be taught how to write their name in cursive.
@@teallover1919 Yeah I did cursive in third grade too, but only for three days. Not anywhere near enough. Good cursive handwriting could really help with getting a job, but you can't do that if you only learn three days

Same. Here in middle school of India we are getting 3 assignments every weekend and one of them is a 100 words paragraph, other a 3 A4 pages long worksheet and a 150 words(minimum) essay. And not to mention all of the questions in the worksheet are LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG. Like we have to write all the questions then the answers. I don't even get to play for an hour. I always cry internally and get notably irritated when my parents ask me something. This homework seems to have 100% control on me, I am getting crazy, irritable, genuinely sad etc.
Exactly, whenever we have a lot of work to do for the holidays and then we come back, my class just collectively agrees that the break wasn't good. And then the teachers just seem shocked that we "didn't have any other free time" and continue to talk about how THEY had a break smh
I actually get interested in the right books, but they give relatively bad books to me, and then when i enjoy a book that i am supposed to read for school they make me read it faster then i want to
I'm weird, I hate reading in general since it feels like a drag to me. When I'm assigned a book and it's making me think about each chapter I start to enjoy it more, especially the classics they assign in junior and senior year.
A girl in my school committed suicide. She didn't get very good grades, but she was the nicest person I had ever talked to. She was shy, but so sweet and caring. She was a good person. I remember I talked to her in the library once. I didn't talk to her alot since she was in the grade above me, but she was super soft spoken, and she always looked tired. Whenever I saw her she was studying. I'm pretty sure school drove her to depression and eventually suicide. I feel terrible for her, and everyone has forgotten about her. I still think about her sometimes. She was a kind person and didn't deserve the mental torture she got.

because the education system was made to instill obedience when made, in prussia, some people have fallen victim to it and can't have their mind changed, like people who were raised when it was viable, now its useless
i think cause people believe searching stuff up will be accurate but doesnt mean you knew it. it wouldnt hurt to have that information stored no? and we need to learn stuff to have in our brain. its not like you can search stuff up on a test
Some people make the argument "well I do uSe this in my life", but that only applies to certain fields. As a person who is interested in computers, yes, I may use higher maths, but no, I do not need to study an old English text. Not to mention, some people also say "but the students practice learning". If that's the case, learning things we're interested in/need is a lot more helpful then what we aren't interested in.
Truth be told they aren't just teaching us useless math going through the process is apparently teaching us other things like managing time and what not but why do we have to learn it in that way? Can't we just do it in other ways?

I can't explain my hatred towards school very well, so I'll just say some problems that I have with school: In my school, the transition from elementary school to high school was almost nonexistent. We were just thrown in there to fend for ourselves. The large amount of work that has stressed me and many friends of mine out. I don't know if this is related to school, but after getting into the high school, I have had many days where I just don't feel happy. This could be a problem with me, but I doubt that the amount of stress my school has placed on me has helped it. The small amount of time we get to socialize in the day. Even at lunch, our teachers yell at us to stop talking. Lectures. Finals. Collective punishment. Something else, I am a person who lives a very fortunate life. I can't imagine how people with a difficult home life, or other out-of-school problems must feel. I feel terrible for them. Thanks for reading, have a good day.
Very well said. I agree. I can easily say that if I had not had experience working with real adults outside of school, I would have ended it all because I would have thought there was nothing else. While in school I suffered these: (Not in this order) 1. Sexual harassment 2. Several assaults (physical, like punches, kicks, etc.) 3. Emotional abuse and shaming from adults 4. Gaslighting to make me quit or have to quit my classes 5. Forced to do a drill where people raddled the doors to see if they were locked and a loudspeaker blaring about an intruder 6. Several bomb and shooting threats the school did NOTHING about 7. Coerced into going on drugs, that I did not need, because the school wouldn't go through with my accommodations. And so much more. I was constantly being forced under stress, and the school deflected it each time to make my parents believe I was just being emotional and rebellious. It shouldn't be rebellion to want my human rights.
School: "We'll teach you knowledge that you'll use everyday for the rest of your life" Me: "holly crap, did that water bottle just fall guess I'll have to find out what force made it fall and how fast did it fall"

The funny thing is, me as a "smart kid". The things I know that make the teachers think im smart ,I didnt learn in school at all. I learned them from out of school sources, Such as documentaries, TH-cam videos, Videogames, or learning from my online friends.

Why I personally hate school: - It’s mostly a shithole for people with mental health issues and disabilities. - Some teachers are not in the mood to teach or are not willing to explain the answer to students a second or third time, making the learning experience more difficult. - That one teacher who makes a simple lesson into what feels like a waste of time. - I’m planning on becoming a designer or an artist or something else in the future. At what point am I going to use Shakespeare Othello or give arguments about Christian beliefs? - It takes up most of our free time for chatting with family and doing personal things, thus making us feel tired in the mornings. - Many strict rules. For example, if you come into school at least one minute late you have to stay back after school for a 30 minute detention. - They give you exams that are made to stress you out and feel dumb.
The US education system is still outdated because -they want to stress you out, make you more anxious, give you depression so they can control you without you realizing it- they want to discipline you
Oh man, the second to last one made my blood boil, I was in high school, had a graphic design class that was one the other side of the building from my previous class and I got detention only once in my entire school life for being late to a class that was so far away, you want me to sprint to class, smh

Math is only beautiful when understood but school is like: "Ok the quadratic Formula is -b±√b²-4ac/2a just trust me ok and now it is time for you shut up and listen to me you little shit"
I actually wrote a college essay on the school system and what needs to change. Most of what you said, actually was in my essay. I very much agree with you. I'm not a memorization person and the schools really do reward and favor people who memorize the questions. Yet, it's those same people that never really learn anything. In my essay, I mentioned that high school is pretty much just one big gamble and you kind of have to just HOPE that you pass. It was worse for me because in high school, I wasn't really in the best place mentally and literally everyone of my teachers said I deserved bad grades (except for my theater teacher) because I sucked when in reality it was outside forces that caused me to suck. Like my teammates being absolute snorlaxes and letting me do all the work. Or like me being two plays, where I had to perform in front of an audience and memorize lines and blocking. Or my teacher being the worst teacher of all time, sitting at his desk all day and then talking about Trump instead of teaching us the material we're supposed to learn about. But no, he didn't teach us anything and when I tried to switch out of that class, my counselor said he couldn't. Some people say high school doesn't matter but to me it does because it taught me about the different types of people you'll meet in this world. They all exist out there and since high school is so keen on teaching me about how the real world works, which it taught me how people can be POS and not care about someone who literally almost took their own life. Schools don't care, and I'm not the only one who tried to kill himself. Literally at my school in one year 5 people died. The school just did NOT give a shit. Once a student under 18 is in the school, they are NOT their parents problem. They are under the schools custody. The school didn't care to try and get me help. I had to say something to somebody to get me help and I got it. It's funny because in the hallway they always talk about depression and suicide hotlines and where it's possible to get help and stuff. They never really enforce it though. Teachers and administrators are there for a paycheck and once they find out one of their little money makers was trying to off themselves because high school is survival of the fittest, they panic. Not because the kid is trying to hurt himself but because it's going to make the district (dispite it ALREADY HAVING A BAD REPUTATION) look bad. That's all it is, money. Greed. They get to talk about what kind of wine they get to have with their dinner, while their students are in their homes suffering. So after my Junior year, and this is my last little bit for now... I went to a continuation school on the same campus. Believe it or not, it was better than my normal high school. Some of the other kids were incredibly toxic, but the teachers were SO GENUINE. On top of that, they also understood and knew what it was like to come to have problems with... stuff. They also made sure I passed, and I did at the top of my class with almost all straight A's. I even exceeded the credit limit and graduated early. I used that in my essay to compare how teachers should act and treat their students instead of looking for their next paycheck. I can't tell you how much I like this video Pegasus. I'd actually like to see a follow up video on this because this topic does interest me as I kind of want to be a teacher. The school system sucks so hard, it makes cell from dragonball z look like a vaccum cleaner. Seeing someone amongst other people who understand how much it sucks is awesome because most people will tell you how it was the highlight of their lives. Like really? Keep up the good content Pegasus.
Where's your 1k likes this was such a good speech. Maybe you should try to run for president when you're old enough. Yes. Now my memory is ultra selective, and now I only remember important things for a maximum of about four days, which is about the time between learning material and taking a test.
I feel like elementary school taught me all I need to know. Everything past that felt like a waste. Except for my art classes those are enjoyable and a breeze
That’s one reason why I’m not going to college. Why do they make you pay for books anyways? Why can’t they just give it to you for free like in elementary school?
I highly agree, they only use SAT because it's made by scholastic and most public schools (if not all) have business agreements with scholastic. Making it so that if scholastic really wanted to, they could be scrummy through any loopholes and still have a large financial profit.

My school counsellor forced me to "speak up" and say why I self harmed after someone reported me and I had to see them just so the school wouldn't look bad and didn't actually want to help but just made sure I didn't do it for the sake of the schools image Edit: BTW I didn't end up telling them anything cuz I didn't trust them
Yeah. I told my school counselor that I was sad and that I wanted to die (I'm not going to go too deep into my mental health lol) I even showed her my cuts and she was like, "It's just a phase. You'll get over it soon you'll be fine." all I could think was, 'Wow, thanks for the help bitch I feel alot better now.' I haven't gone to a school counselor ever again. I trusted her and she didn't even help. When I ranted to her about my anxiety and depression, she just nodded and wrote shit down. I don't go to school counselors anymore. They always fucking suck.
In my school there was bullying online towards one of my best friends on TikTok, (which is why I hate that app and the bullies come to my school) and I made a video spreading awareness about bullying, and what happened to my friend and venting about the situation and it got 26k views in like 10 hours, and my principal saw it and she called me to the office on a Monday and told me she saw the video online. I did say some pretty mean things like “I THOUGHT THEY WERE NICE” and “THEY’RE TOXIC” and stuff but I got suspended for it and what I don’t find fair is that the school board suspended the aggressors for only a day more.
a boy in my school committed suicide last year. for the next few months the school talked about mental health nonstop, encouraging students to be open about their struggles and talk to their barely qualified school counsellors when they need help. i have depression and anxiety. it’s hard to even get out of bed in the morning, let alone put on a uniform and pack the 50 billion things i need for the average school day. just thinking about going to school makes me sick to the stomach, and i often throw up in the mornings trying to get myself organised. i haven’t had a full week of school in months, and my attendance is below 50% how then, has my school, which paraded around nonstop about mental health, responded to my struggles? by threatening to expel me. we’ve tried to organise a duel enrolment between the school and a virtual school, so that i could learn the core subjects at home, and only go to school for electives/practical subjects. we explained that it would greatly benefit my mental health and ease my stress, while still providing me with a decent education and the opportunity to learn about subjects that interest me. the school has refused. my teachers tell me that i am just lazy and unmotivated, and that i need to do better or i will fail my life and end up homeless. and once again, here is your reminder that this school prides itself on being supportive and progressive when it comes to mental health. hypocritical bastards.
Schools are made for humanity to go extinct. You know, when i turn 18, i will kill everyone that i hate, bad teachers, bad politicians and others, and afterwards commit suicide. I have no purpose for life, since i have no feelings for a single person, half sociopath and everything else. Yeah. Hate me all you want, wont affect how empty my life is.

Education and schooling are two different things. It's actually something like this. "I have never let my schooling interfere with my education." - Mark Twain
In elementary and middle school during tests I remember I would always say to myself “who was stupid enough to think about making school? To make matters worse they made it 8 hours long and so early in the day and then for like 11-12 freaking years. Like what tf were they thinking?” Here’s what I’d say in other classes “who’s ever gonna walk up to a cashier and use y=Mx+b like they literally tell us the price” “Why do i have to learn the past? It’s not my fault they wanted to start wars.” I didn’t have history last year but the years before that and this year I do and it’s so boring and stupid. “I don’t even want to be a scientist so why do I have to study and memorize these confusing ass words” “what’s the point of writing these essays and poems I don’t even enjoy it at all so what makes you think I’d have a career at it” “what’s the point of all these classes if I want to be a veterinarian and none of this is gonna get me to that point in career my life is just being wasted” tbh I’d be happy to go to school if they would just let us study things that’ll actually help us for career choices that we’d like to do but nope I learn pointless things. Like they put me in Spanish class and I’m a Spanish speaking person and never chose that as a elective. Right now my only useful class is probably asl since it’ll be 3rd way I could comunícate with other people. Even though these are my thoughts of school people in my classes think I like it and view me as the “smart” student but in reality I struggle in classes as much as they do in some classes and others I don’t even try and math is the only easy class. Honestly I’ve learned way more things on TH-cam than I have in school that’ll help me with real world issues and situations. School should be teaching how to buy houses, apply for credit cards, start a business, etc. But we learn pointless things, get tested on how much we remember it, forget about it, learn something else. It’s just a repeated process that feels painfully endless. I remember when one of my younger cousins started school she said she was so happy to finally go and well oh well now she’s in 2nd and absolutely hates school can’t blame her though been there done that. My 7th grade teacher doesn't give us homework. He's always like "fuck this school I don't get paid enough for this" he's also like young. He's only 25.
In grades 5-8, I got no homework (I was blessed), but grades 9 and 11 is where it gets much tougher... and don’t get me started with college / university...
Honestly though, school is just one of the over exaggerations of adults at this point. In all of my childhood since around first grade, they always tried to give me the mindset of "If you don't pass school, You'll never be successful in life; You *need* to pass school to get a job" When I got my hand on the internet for the first time, I've realized just how incorrect this mindset is like, and how I never even needed school in the first place. Finding out about this, I felt like I just wasted a lot of the years of my childhood just constantly trying to pass my grades so my grandparents would be happy. They say that school is the thing that'd help you turn into a successful adult, but after realizing I've only been wasting my whole life away with school It now feels like school is the thing that'll end you before you even become an adult.
Same I never realized school was bad until grade 3 I hated it now I just want to be done with school now since it is a burden on me.Worst part is that I sometimes will be in a very very very bad mood and just want to relax but then I have to deal with classes and I sweat a lot when that happens and it so stressful
I was born in the spring of 2000 so I had to waste 18 years of my life in school. I'm out now and it's 2000 times better than that hell. I'd get a better education from staring at the wall for an hour.
While that is true they give you different and usually harder questions to do so it would make sense to use your notes because they are different from the exam or test
*Fun fact that you don’t care about:* I’m insanely quiet in school and around other people and this one teacher called me a mute multiple times Edit: she also made fun of I lisp I had because I just got braces
School systems does suck from depression to constant anxiety when my parents tell me to show them fucking aspen, it feels like someone is forcing you to jump out of a building while they have a gun aimed at you. Plus once you have bad grades and a few missing assignments due to pure confusion of how things works, It would be almost impossible to catch up considering how many assignments are given. And having a sibling doesn't help either I always get treated like (trash/nothing a mere item for abusing) while my sister is constantly having the best day of her life and my parents being nice to her and doing every thing she wants because she has good grades.
uhh my parents have told me that they can help me but im pretty sure they dont even care about anything that happens to me, just as long as they get their rep. and other shit, theyre happy
I have a sibling too and he dose get good grades. Hes in 3rd grade, and although practically everyone in my family gets annoyed by him because hes annoying as hell, he gets good grades. So whenever my mom gives a lecture to me about getting good grades, she always says how my brother is getting good grades and hes going to be successful and that if im not going improve my grades ill work at a fast food interest my entire life. Its extremely demotivating and annoying.
I wish I couldn't relate man :( My brother is a cancer but I'm a sagatarius so we don't get along much. Sometimes I wish I could have been born as a different zodiac sign. School just isn't fun to me. Look at me. Just on my phone all the time during online school. After school I just lay on my bed, watch tv, and think about life.
I feel you man. I sorta went through something similar when I was 13. I started self harming myself just when the year was about to end. Say, I wonder if it could’ve grew and fuel itself into suicide? Cos if that’s that, then I can fearfully say a school almost made me take my own life
My substitute literally said “I am not good at teaching you stuff I know”. Like the frick we had to teach her stuff. She taught everyone in the class something wrong and I had to fix it. Everyone was confused she sucked and hasn’t taught any thing since the 60’s
I had to do oral presentation. So when my teacher called me up to speak infront of the three different classes all joined together it finally set in, I could not do it. Why couldn't I do it? Social anxiety. The room felt like it became bigger, or I simply became smaller. I walked up to the front of the class, the room was silent, all eyes were on me. I was scared, the last time all eyes were on me during school was when I had to introduce myself, I lost breath then and that was only 27 people! THIS WAS 40+! I tried to read the little I managed to write down but nothing came out. "Can yall hear her?" My teacher asked, why, why did they always do this?! "---- you need to speak up hun" I started swaying, this was my way to calm myself down, "Is everythig okay? Do you wanna talk about it?" One of my classmates asked, all eyes were on him now, wish it lasted longer than it did. I felt like I was about to faint. "She's shy" another one of my classmates said, _Internal screaming._ I started swaying again, this time it was worse, I felt like I was either going to break my knees from swaying or die on the spot. I got a pass, BUT NOW I HAVE TO DO IT NEXT WEEK. I tried venting to my mom about it and she was like "tHiS nOt tAlKiNg aTtiTuDe wOn'T gEt yOu aNywHeRe" I was suppose to go to counselling at school, NOW THAT'S CANCELLED, isn't the world just wonderful? :)
I need to make video outputs and I can relate. I feel too camera shy and I can't really speak well when I know there is a camera or recorder in the room.
I have also done presentations and shit. I do one thing to calm myself down, it's not very nice but it's what makes me calm down. "Everyone is awkward. I mean that girl looked like a joke, I don't wanna be a clown"
Yes. I am one of the smarter kids in my class but I am terrible at making my work look pretty, so when I don’t try to do my best, then my work is ‘bad’. When I am trying to do my best, I’m still ‘not trying my best’.
I've been trying for years now to formulate my thoughts on the education system, you summed it all up in 12 minutes.. Good job I'm showing this to my mom now so she can understand it properly.
Exactly, they don't even try. Almost all the teachers at my highschool just use assignments they found online. But at the same time its not like they get paid more to make class fun. All they have to do is go over the material and get you to pass the class with average grades.
@@Urek968 i couldn't even pass my class with the average grade because apparently i forgot my homework too much and that's a good reason to send me back in grades. All 4 years' hard work were gone in a matter of seconds.
Fun fact: the current american school system was created in the industrial revolution and was used to teach children to listen and obey, not to help them get better job.

Most autistic kids at my school gets treated as the “naughty kid” which is horribly flawed

Here's My Plan :
Step 1: Collect Information (Check Survey On my About Page)
Step 2: Make a Document that addresses the problems & solutions for the education systems.
Step 3: We all come together and Send that document (via Mail) to Policy Makers, Government officials, media companies, and so on.
If enough people (hundreds, maybe thousands) send that document and we can gain enough support and attention, I think we can make a huge difference, no matter who we are.

The school system is just such a miserable waste of time
Lol and the Pythagorean Therom takes like 5 minutes to learn anyways instead they stretch it for 6 days
@@doggo2546 They somehow stretch it throughout 8th grade and four years of high school. It's so unnecessary.
Ikr
I remember when I was in third grade they did teach us cursive, but now it's gone, and that makes me so upset. Because I practiced from third grade, I can still read and write the entire alphabet in cursive. In my opinion, students should at least be taught how to write their name in cursive.
@@teallover1919 Yeah I did cursive in third grade too, but only for three days. Not anywhere near enough. Good cursive handwriting could really help with getting a job, but you can't do that if you only learn three days

I can't explain my hatred towards school very well, so I'll just say some problems that I have with school:
In my school, the transition from elementary school to high school was almost nonexistent.
When you realise that you have spent more time with textbooks than you've with your family in your childhood.
Before quarantine my teacher was fun and every child is having fun, but now it's just a hell...
Very well said. I agree.
I can easily say that if I had not had experience working with real adults outside of school, I would have ended it all because I would have thought there was nothing else. While in school I suffered these: (Not in this order)
1. Sexual harassment
2. Several assaults (physical, like punches, kicks, etc.)
3. Emotional abuse and shaming from adults
4. Gaslighting to make me quit or have to quit my classes
5. Forced to do a drill where people raddled the doors to see if they were locked and a loudspeaker blaring about an intruder
6. Several bomb and shooting threats the school did NOTHING about
7. Coerced into going on drugs, that I did not need, because the school wouldn't go through with my accommodations.
And so much more. I was constantly being forced under stress, and the school deflected it each time to make my parents believe I was just being emotional and rebellious. It shouldn't be rebellion to want my human rights.

- It’s mostly a shithole for people with mental health issues and disabilities.

I'd actually like to see a follow up video on this because this topic does interest me as I kind of want to be a teacher. a boy in my school committed suicide last year. for the next few months the school talked about mental health nonstop, encouraging students to be open about their struggles and talk to their barely qualified school counsellors when they need help. i have depression and anxiety. it’s hard to even get out of bed in the morning, let alone put on a uniform and pack the 50 billion things i need for the average school day. just thinking about going to school makes me sick to the stomach, and i often throw up in the mornings trying to get myself organised. i haven’t had a full week of school in months, and my attendance is below 50%
how then, has my school, which paraded around nonstop about mental health, responded to my struggles? by threatening to expel me. we’ve tried to organise a duel enrolment between the school and a virtual school, so that i could learn the core subjects at home, and only go to school for electives/practical subjects. we explained that it would greatly benefit my mental health and ease my stress, while still providing me with a decent education and the opportunity to learn about subjects that interest me. the school has refused. my teachers tell me that i am just lazy and unmotivated, and that i need to do better or i will fail my life and end up homeless. and once again, here is your reminder that this school prides itself on being supportive and progressive when it comes to mental health. hypocritical bastards.
Schools are made for humanity to go extinct. You know, when i turn 18, i will kill everyone that i hate, bad teachers, bad politicians and others, and afterwards commit suicide. @@hazoomiezombie maybe. I think that if he said this, he probably meant that school doesn't help you build a natural curiosity for learning. Being curious is the driving force for learning and if your whole school system is built around an outdated system established in the industrial revolution, this curiosity won't be cultivated within the students.
Like what tf were they thinking?” Here’s what I’d say in other classes “who’s ever gonna walk up to a cashier and use y=Mx+b like they literally tell us the price”
“Why do i have to learn the past?

I have one teacher that actually tries to make his lessons fun and literally everybody loves him. I went from a 36% to a 87%.
Good teachers are great, but they are $2 bills in that you know they exist, but there are very few of them
They exist in our school but have few time to teach us
@@CoolDude-kc4he I have a $2 bill.
I had a few teachers like that, but they were very few.
Same here, my Social Studies (History) and Math (yes, MATH and HISTORY, two of the worst subjects on planet earth) teachers back in Grade 6 were literally EVERYONE’S favorites (at least the people in their classes)
My math teacher made math actually fun, and oversimplified it to the point where it became one of the easiest subjects to pass if she was ur teacher (plus she was a jokester, so plus points for that)
My Social Studies teacher was strict but only if you were being a dick in class, unlike most teachers she spent about 3/4 of the period giving us life lessons then the last like 20-15 minutes was allotted for the actual lesson cuz really, that’s all she needed, she taught in a way that was SUPER easy to understand, and you’ll want to actually pay attention cuz, like my math teacher, she made the lessons fun, AND she was one hell of a jokester, joking around was like 50% of the period, just don’t make her mad, she’ll hit you with the wrath of God with her words alone
My 7th grade teacher doesn't give us homework. He's always like "fuck this school I don't get paid enough for this" he's also like young. He's only 25.
Noice
good teacher
In grades 5-8, I got no homework (I was blessed), but grades 9 and 11 is where it gets much tougher... and don’t get me started with college / university...

Honestly though, school is just one of the over exaggerations of adults at this point. In all of my childhood since around first grade, they always tried to give me the mindset of "If you don't pass school, You'll never be successful in life; You *need* to pass school to get a job"
When I got my hand on the internet for the first time, I've realized just how incorrect this mindset is like, and how I never even needed school in the first place.
@@bluex6095 realised in 6th but as 10th is here I absolutely despise it
I was born in the spring of 2000 so I had to waste 18 years of my life in school. I'm out now and it's 2000 times better than that hell. I'd get a better education from staring at the wall for an hour.

closed book exams are memory tests, not so much a test of knowledge
While that is true they give you different and usually harder questions to do so it would make sense to use your notes because they are different from the exam or test
Sun Maid I’ve always said this. School is 90% a test of how good your memory is and 10% a test of the skills you’ve learnt
*Fun fact that you don’t care about:* I’m insanely quiet in school and around other people and this one teacher called me a mute multiple times

Sad that so many people , like me , relate to this
I feel you man. I sorta went through something similar when I was 13. I started self harming myself just when the year was about to end. Say, I wonder if it could’ve grew and fuel itself into suicide? Cos if that’s that, then I can fearfully say a school almost made me take my own life

Yes. I am one of the smarter kids in my class but I am terrible at making my work look pretty, so when I don’t try to do my best, then my work is ‘bad’. When I am trying to do my best, I’m still ‘not trying my best’.
@ultra_uno bruh when my teacher said show ur work i put 1+1=2 bc 1and 1 is2 but my teacher said that's not enough
I've been trying for years now to formulate my thoughts on the education system, you summed it all up in 12 minutes.. Good job I'm showing this to my mom now so she can understand it properly.
The thing is that teachers don't even try to make their lessons entertaining.
