We're on the road delivering the grill to Sam at the time this video is releasing. It was supposed to come out Wednesday, but unfortunately, the internet connection on the road is spotty and getting it uploaded has been an adventure in itself. Instead, we are going to upload episodes 2 AND 3 of the build today! The second episode will drop at the normally scheduled time.
Follow our road trip by following us on instagram and come meet up with us at Good of the Land fest!
In Episode 2 of the Sam the Cooking Guy Santa Maria / Argentinian / Gaucho grill build, we are building the burn pans and finishing the grill frame.

As an enthusiast, I'm getting a lot of of the practical application of welding in this series, especially the dialogue explaining the sequence and reasoning around using a particular technique or material. Keep up the great work!

I've been a custom fabricator for over 35 years. I love that you guys are keeping it going on. Too many people don't recognize art. Lol, but at the end of the day you still built a "charcoal grill" a badass one, but still a charcoal grill. Thank God some people are willing to pay $2,500 for a charcoal grill. Lol, I've sold a few too. 😉🤣🤣🤣

I have found it works better for me to repeat cuts if i can't set a stop on the saw to flush the pattern on the right end pull the blade down back the cut end of the pattern to the blade and get a perfect cut every time.

Great videos, thanks! Curious why you chose to TIG weld in the piece that is used to raise and lower the grill, but MIG for most other parts? (17:11) Thanks for the videos!

So you have to make some Santa Maria style Tri tip with the fat on it's hard to find in a lot of places cause they trim all the fat away. Ya also must I mean it's a must get susie's Q santa Maria style seasoning. And be generous.

Why wouldn't you build the burn grates with the lip supporting the cross-bars instead of above them? It seems upside down to me... maybe so the ashes don't get trapped in the lip that results?

I'm unsubscribing to the channel. Now first off, I'm really no one and I am not doing it because I think it'll really make a difference or get a result. It is more out of respect. We deserve to know what's up with Bob. This stuff happen with Wyatt and it was kept quite with cut and paste comments about being forced with blah blah blah locations and yada yada yada choices. The simple fact is this I didn't like Wyatt and I didn't think he was a even good welder. So why would I care? Especially when we got Bob out of the deal. Now plain and simple Jason, and man cub they're great and they are trying to take things in what appears to be two directions as in builds and lesson while entertainment takes a front row seat. Without Bob or atleast a honest explanation I'm out though. I know about the flooding, I did read the description in his last video but really it seemed more like good bye anyway. So I have been suspect ever since. Now I hope Bob at least sees this, you were and are awesome thank you for all your hard work. Weld dot com, hopefully we will see the return of Bob, if not and it's over something silly like contracts or negotiating break downs then shame on you guys and I hope you understand what you really lost. Good luck Jason and man cub.
